How did u put the control panels on the wheel back on I took mine off and now the horn doesn’t work??

How do you wrap the steering wheel controls?.. I've taken them out of the steering wheel, but I can't get the back of them off to be able to do around the buttons neatly
Lewis Smithies there is little screws on them mate on the back a very small T screw driver piece fits and the buttons come out easily
Gona get my botton surrounds done isit easier to remove wheel and airbag ??
Do you know if there are complete dashboard sets available in dofferent colours/finishes in stead of wrapping?
as far as i know mate you have to just wrap them for a change

Jim Grant I havnt yet mate, you need an smd conversion and there abit fiddly with soldering etc so I may pay to get mine done
No worries matey tbh im fine with the electronics n soldering but didnt no if they jus popped out with the credit card trick lol. Will gave a bash tomoz if i get the time to have a look... will let you no pal! That vxr logo on the steering it literaly jus pops out yea?
Jim Grant they do just pop out with a credit card mate there easy to get too, and yes mate the vxr logo on the steering wheel pops straight out

I have been trying to remove the buttons from the steering wheel with my card but it doesn't work, can you recommend me anything else cause I don't want to remove the airbag
You can remove the airbag with the battery disconnected

Do you know how to take the cover off the stereo?
You have to take it all apart to get access to the plastic face of the stereo unfortunately. It requires a Torx t8 and a Torx t6 or t7, i can't remember.
Can corsa d or vxr dash air vents fit in a sxi 2007?

Be careful anyone who want's to try this. I removed the centre console to wrap it all matte black and after putting it all back in, the airbag warning lights are all on and is going to cost me about £50 have have them turned off from what im reading from other people who have had the same problem.
Ste Bradbury Design you turned your key in the ignition, I did say so not turn the key if the airbag is unplugged it will come on mate
Rusty Phat nope, didn’t touch the ignition the whole time everything was unplugged.
Ste Bradbury Design your ecu will only store a code when the ignition is turned on or electrics, if it is left then there would be no light mate, someone must have touched it whilst you wasn't looking then
Rusty Phat nightmare hahah I genuinely have no idea how it’s happened because I specifically made sure not to even put the key in the ignition. Someone is fucking with me 😂

Doing my Astra at the moment but the steering controls are hard as hell to cut the little squares out!
you can take the steering wheel controls off make which makes it easier

If anyone watches this and has the air bad lights come on as described in the comments, mine went off by itself, only took about 2 months to do so!
Mine is on today so that means I have to wait 2 months . hahahahah 🤣🤣🤣
