Does this fit just right has seen, because the pumpkin stereos, you need to remove or modify the inside casing for there stereos to fit.

Not sure why UA-cam didn’t show the comment but it’s by the glove box area just avoid putting it where metal is otherwise you will get bad signal 👍🏾💯
Is there any newer ones since this one please or is this one still good to get and I have a limited edition 2014 corsa not sure if there any different to the vxr fitting wise any help’s appreciated thank you
Yeah this one is still good to get, it will very likely be an updated version as they add new stock each time also there’s no difference fitting wise 👍🏾💯
Great easy to follow video 👍🏻 I use Spotify on my iPhone for my music, can I download Spotify app on the stereo or do I just Bluetooth from my iPhone to the stereo to play?

How did you get the black cage inside removed to fix a radio that doesn’t fit the exact size?
There’s no need to remove anything other than the old radio where did you get your radio from?

On my opel corsa the radio is locked with the words: display safe
If I install this new stereo, will I be able to listen to music? Or will it be blocked

Does anyone know how to remove the “do not watch while driving notification.” When opening up UA-cam - it doesn’t happen with Netflix ect…..
Go into factory settings, or car settings you can change it from there 👍🏾💯
My Corsa 2007 hasn’t got bluetooth. Is it still possible to connect my phone to the screen? Do I have to connect to the bluetooth of the screen or the Bluetooth of my Corsa?
The headunit comes with built in bluetooth, if your corsa didn’t have bluetooth it wouldn’t matter, as the new screen has everything 👍🏾💯
Is Corsa VXR same size as Corsa SXI for centre console and head unit
Yeah same size centre console, so will fit so long as it’s a Corsa D 👍🏾💯

I just bought a 2nd hand 2012 Opel Corsa D with this type of chinese headunit and the indicator lights/warning sounds doesn't work... Any idea if the previous owner didn't install the radio right? Or is not related to the headunit?
Sounds like a bad headunit, best to get the one in the video as it never has had these issues 👍🏾💯
do you need to connect your phone to use UA-cam and all the google features on this or can it be accessed by the wifi built in?
You don’t need to connect your phone you can use wifi to connect to the internet including using your home wifi 👍🏾💯
Can you also open maps on iphone and then it will open maps on this as well? Or do you really need to use the separate gps apps downloaded on this android thing?
Yes that comes with the apple carplay feature if you have maps on your iPhone it will open on the headunit 👍🏾💯
Did you have to tap into a cable? You mentioned a cable was already tapped into from previous owner which cable is it?
They tapped into cables for their subwoofer but with the new headunit it has pre set cables to use for a subwoofer also it was still plug and play to power on the headunit 👍🏾💯

Does the original aux plug still work once the new unit is connected?? I love this video and have ordered my new one and will be using this this as a guide but no videos show if the original aux still works?

after 2 days of using it, my steering wheel controls (volume, next/prev etc) no longer work for me, and neither the reverse camera. i bought another canbus for my opel corsa d 2011, and it still doesn't work. I also looked in the can settings to choose the car model, nothing. do you know how can i fix it?
Where did you buy the screen from ?
@@CARLISONIT it's not the same as the one in the video, but it's similar. my father bought it in Germany, I don't know exactly from which store, but it's strange because it worked as it should and suddenly the controls on the steering wheel and the camera stopped working.
@@Dani-qt1xw some headunits do that unfortunately they don’t last, but this one has been perfect from start and still is till now, it was one of the best buys I recommend to return it and get the one I have 👍🏾💯
Carl, it's Karl here. Man I have questions. I bought a pumpkin for our 17 y/o sons corsa d and we cannot find a loom anywhere for this thing. Any ideas? Or just order an expensive bespoke loom for it from Dynamic and call it a day?
Great job by the way, helped us a ton. I tend to do head units in my Mazda and Nissan whips but I just use them as tuners and ecu control, never used 1 as an actual stereo.
@@fuzzylumpkins6034 i recommend getting the one from the link, its wireless Carplay and android auto, super fast and I think pumpkin’s wired or may not have it and comes with everything plug and play 👍🏾💯

It’s started quite fast. Is it maybe getting power even when the car is out? Because when my car is sitting for a week I want that my car starts😅
I’ve had it on the car for around 3 weeks, I started the car up and it still started without battery issues well worth it one of the best units out there 👍🏾💯

@@kianjordan9522 when did you message them? Was it a weekend if so best to re message them during the week, also no you just need to connect your iPhone to the wired cable and click on carplay app
@@kianjordan9522 sounds like you may have a battery issue, happened to me with my bmw whenever I switched the car off, it reset the clock, when I changed the battery to a new one it stopped resetting itself 👍🏾
Hi, my head unit works but after a few hundred miles, it stops working. The temporary fix is for me to disconnect the battery and then reconnect it and then it will work again for another few hundred miles. Is there a way to fix this without having to keep disconnecting and reconnecting the battery? Thanks in advance!

@@josiahbrown1411 there’s no fix to it as it’s a firmware issue, i’ve a lot of people message me on instagram about this same issue i recommend returning it and getting the one I have 👍🏾💯
I also have this screen. But after I installed it the sound has like too much bass. Anyone knows how to fix that?
Go to dsp and you can reduce the bass from there

There’s alot of adjustments i’d say turn all of them down
How do you connect radio to work?
You need to connect the original radio cable to the adapter into the radio cable slot in the new headunit

@@CARLISONIT I’m looking for this type of replacement for a Combo Vauxhall van. Would like to put in a reverse camera too. I’ve taken out the combo head to look further. There is a metal cage in the hole. It’s a CD30 that’s in there now. Blaupunkt brand.

Did you disconnect the car battery before installing?
Bit late reply but from my experience you don't quite need to, just make sure you do not have the keys in the ignition. The wires you work with only get power when it's turned to ignition on, or engine start. If you have to cut/splice into wires I do recommend disconnecting the battery.

@CARLISONIT I got a cable that went back of new radio to the aireal part I thought that was it plugs in the back and has the brass part too
