If they're gonna drop one game in DC, please don't lose game three. That's a lot tougher psychologically than losing the fourth game. The odd-number games are pivotal and can change a series.

Everyone’s talking about this hit as if it was a game charger. What’s there to be so upset over. He got hit. No one likes to see that if you catch the head. He was checked out and back into the game. Obviously he was fine. They have the best doctors to make sure oshie was good to play. The only issue now is the no call no penalty. That wouldn’t have been talked about if Washington won the game. The fact the lost is why fans and people are talking about it as if it was called it would have been the game changer. Caps power play isn’t that great even though they scored on the power play that game. Rangers most likely would have killed it off for Panarin. Or even if they tied the game on the power play they still would have had to win the game. It wasn’t a tied game that could result in a caps win. They were behind bottom line. Washington fans as well as NHL fans in general will always hang onto a moment in the game that could have been a difference maker when they lose. Especially if they lose the series it will forever be because of that hit and no call. Look at the series with the Rangers against Montreal when Krieder took price out. It would have been worst if Montreals back up didn’t play fantastic that series. Reason they might have won according to the fans if price was still In net. Becomes Krieder fault for them losing. If caps come back to win the series this will never be brought up again. But if they lose it will be the reason they lost.
