Oh I hadn't thought of that...I'll dig around for some. I'll have a lot of oats on hand that I'd love to do something other than breakfast lol thabks for the idea!
@@historicalcookingwithcourtney No problem! I usually make oats into flour in a high power blender and use 2 cups of that, one cup self rising and one cup bread flour. I feed the yeast with brown sugar and use an average sized bowl of water.
@@historicalcookingwithcourtney it is! The thing to keep in mind though is that because it's a heavier bread you want to double the yeast you use when converting from any other recipe.
I'd be interested in some oat bread recipes if you can find any.
