  • Well this has been an amazing find! Today I am collaborating with Kristin from Bake Across Europe on her Bavarian Rye Bread recipe... She is doing the "mother" rye bread from Bavaria and I am going to show you what the immigrants brought over when they started the first Ethnic Bavarian bakery in Milwaukee in 1853!

    I like this. Your banter is even appealing. The history lesson and your surprise and excitement remind me of normal people making food - which is a good thing. I usually can't stand banter in recipe videos but you remind me of my thought process when I am baking. I don't see this in other recipe videos.

    Hey Courtney! I was so excited when i saw you had posted a new video. I love love love your channel i look forward to it. I hope your water issues have been fixed and you have a regular supply. This bread looks so good. We would put Montreal smoked meat on it with mustard and sauerkraut on it and oooh so yummy.

We're pretty close to having the water stuff fixed for good (knock-on wood) I hope by sometime next month I can be done with it! And your version sounds delicious! I've never had Montreal smoked meat but I can imagine its got to be good if it pairs with sauerkraut and rye 😁
