Hi Fairuz! Yeah, I know they can be hard to find but to be honest, fresh garlic tastes better! I'll use fresh garlic in this recipe if I have it but often don't have it at home so I rely on the frozen form. Thanks for saying hi and be well!

Hi Rosie great recipe thank you
Pls could you tell me what oven you use I want a counter top oven . I’ve see that is a conventional oven let know pls
    Thank you

Hi Bubble E! Thanks for saying hi and I'm so glad you enjoyed the recipe. I end up using my counter top oven more than my conventional one because it heats up faster and uses less energy! This is what I use and I love it: Cosori 12-in-1 toaster oven + convection oven + air fryer: amzn.to/3MFmGCi (my Amazon affiliate link). I've use this oven multiple times a week for years and it's very dependable but it does get quite hot on the outside, except for the handle, so you have to careful about not touching the top or sides while it's on. Have a wonderful weekend! 🌻

Hi! I tried this recipe and because my yeast is different I decided to let it activate in the entire 1 and 1/2 cups of water that you had recommended. But my dough came out wetter and less manageable than yours. Could you tell me why? And my bread came out nice eventually but not as airy as yours. I had to bake it longer than 30 mins and even had to adjust the temperature to more than what you had recommended. I am a beginner so maybe you could help me. Thanks in advance!

Hii Tanya! Thanks so much for giving this recipe a shot and I'm sorry to hear that the dough turned out a bit different. Environmental factors can impact how much water you ultimately need in the dough so would recommend trying less water next time (probably closer to 1 ¼ cups). Every oven is also a bit different so using a higher temperature from the beginning of baking is totally fine and will help the bread bake up more airy. I hope that helps! There's so much trial and error in baking and you are doing a great job learning to personalize the recipe to your own kitchen! Be well and happy baking

Dough to water proportion is wrong. It could be because I used all purpose flour. If you’re using all purpose flour I’d add the water little by little to prevent the dough from getting too wet.
