  • A lot of People still have no idea these things are even real. Its My Daily Driven Car not even my Race build just a "FUN DAILY" Bolt on car with ZZPERFORMANCE PARTS car exceeded all my Expectations.

    Most people laugh at me when I tell them it's a four cylinder but when I drop the gas pedal on that ass they're left ???? WHAT just happen 😆 🤣 😂

    Not all that bad, why not put it on a Dyno and figure out the WHP/WTQ numbers.
    I've got a '18 1LT LGX V6, and it was 275WHP stock. I threw an E-force roots supercharger and am up to 360, gonna do a 15% pully and tune and smack up to about 400~WHP. It'll be significantly faster than a stock SS/GT/GT350/RT392. I can't wait to start crushing people with my "crappy RS camaro"

      Calm down there buckaroo it ain't gonna be significantly faster than no gt350.. it will be about even with SS and GTs

      @@gabrielcollazo6835 But a GT/SS make significantly less than 400WHP and are heavier. I've had 2 advantages.

      @@gabrielcollazo6835 You're incorrect. A stock 6th gen SS won't make 415WHP. That's just about 10% loss, which even on a manual is crazy low. The average loss is 15-17%+. The 10Spd Auto would give me more trouble. Automatics suffer worse crank to WHP losses.
      Yes, they make more torque, which I make up for by being 200+lbs lighter. I wouldn't gap them super hard (yet) but I would more than likely win.
      400WHP for my V6 will mean I'm making just shy of 500 crank. That's almost 50 more HP, and I'm lighter, and can rev higher. Again I'll be a little shy on torque.

      @@Z51MAELSTROM I've seen several lt1s dyno at 410-415whp. Second torque wins drag races. Third their power band is significantly better throughout the entire rpm range even if u might make slightly more peak power, 4th their gearing and rear have much better ratios than you. So in conclusion from a dig u will be slaughtered. From a 50-60 roll u may tie or possibly pull half a car but doubt it

    Kudos to you man! I own an LTG myself and I plan on doing bolt ons. Lol people really underestimate this car, even when it’s stock.

      Thanks man!! I underestimated it myself when I first got it. It’s proven itself to be a very fun car to drive. I think it has lots of potential left I just have to figure out how to tap into it lol

    Building one myself. Forged internals, stage 3 cams, 84# valve springs with titanium retainers and a lot bigger turbo.

      I wanted to but I hate having to source out to find the parts that and I know ill never finish my other car if I do. Keep me posted I'd actually like to see one done.

    I have a 2.0 wanting to mod but scared too because ive been seeing alot of people blow their pistons and rods

    Not bad. That little 2.0L got some untapped spunk from factory. With a FULLY forged reciprocating assembly it could probably make +400HP all day like the newest AMG 4banger.

      I'm not to familiar with the 14 RS. I can say that these aren't bad but they are really picky tuning wise. Alot of people have issues with them after the tune, but if you have a good tuner it should be just fine.

      Now 402/415 then I think it was making maybe 320 but its an auto so you know the numbers tend to be a little lower.

      Canelo Power it’s a tune from one of our local shops he’s still learning the platform so it’s still pretty conservative but it started with a ZZP tune

      Would you recommend using the zzp tune for the bigger turbo and inter cooler setup I am doing the same thing you are with the car

      Canelo Power I don’t see why not but I’m doing a custom turbo setup right now so I’ll probably go back to the local shop so I can get the actual Dyno tune since this turbo isn’t a direct fit and never been done before on the car but ZZP hands down knows these cars inside and out I would definitely recommend them

      In February 14th 2019 in Bradenton Motorsport Park I went a 1.74 60 ft a 8.08 Eighth Mile 85 mph I did a 12.66 at 107 miles an hour I did that with a downpipe a flex fuel sensor and a tune with street tires that's it.
