That's just it's all about copyright, criticism and nudity related. Google had so many lawsuits from individual pearents and sitcom creators.

Just as a side note, this is on google, they have never been friendly with content creators as far as way back to their acquisition of youtube, a lot of people doing music mashing cartoons or movies like Pogo immediately got demonetized and even got videos deleted, vidya reviewers also got videos if not channels deleted.
Google is not your friend.
I'm honestly surprised that Dark Simpsons was even monetised in the first place. Either way, it has been a fun journey seeing the channel grow and I am impressed with how far your editing skills have gotten.
I'm just grateful I was ever monetized at all, I understand my content is pretty borderline. But either way, thank you for sticking with me.

The subject matter isn't the problem. It's just that once you get big enough, UA-cam decides they'd rather not pay you anymore.

The thing is *UA-cam* is the one in the wrong here. Parodies and reviews are legally allowed to use copyrighted materials
They just want to profit off the works of others without paying them, which is kinda ironic considering their justifications. It honestly should be illegal for them to make money and pay creators nothing.
Agree, I'm glad for this opportunity for such a long run, and ironic that it's not the copyright owners but Google penalizing it (who are hardly a paragon of virtue themselves when dealing with others' content).
There's still limits on what parodies and reviews can use. This was always pretty borderline and probably just UA-cam protecting themselves from being sued by Disney.
It's sucks the channel is demonotized. You're dark simpsons stuff is always so good! It flows very well. I even showed someone who only occasionally watched simpsons and they thought it was a real episode. Lol anyways, good luck on your new stuff. I'm going to sub to the new channel now!

It has been a real treat watching your content evolve over time. For a lot of fans, myself included, Dark Simpsons was never expected on a weekly basis. The quality of the content, not the quantity, was what inspired me to subscribe in the first place. Honestly, even if you stopped right here and never uploaded another one, what you've made so far is an absolute treasure. The whole concept is great and feels like a safe environment to explore dark themes with humor, where even the characters aren't "actually" (canonically) affected by any of it. I'm sure I'll be going back and watching these for years to come.

It's 2023. Demonetized UA-cam videos really doesn't mean much. Just create a patreon account and let us know where it's at, and we'll help you out. Also, you can upload your stuff to rumble or some other platform that doesn't try to crush anyone who's not 100% compliant with the rules. I mean like there's ways around this 🤔😎
I actually do have a patreon account lol, i advertise it on the outros of my video. But honestly i don't expect much from it, I'd rather have youtube give me money than you guys lol

Your content was funny when it began, but I've been consistently impressed at how much you've evolved and improved over the years. To the point where your longer episodes are much, much better than the official Simpsons episodes nowadays.
Don't worry about posting less to this channel. If anything, that will likely improve the episodes you do realease. Also, are you making enough money from crowd-funding to make up for being demonetized? I'm surprised you didn't mention it in this video, as many fans would love to help you make up the difference.

This seems to be the fate of all channels I end up liking, UA-cam strangles them out of the business. Despite being made from recycled clips, your videos had more thought and originality in them than most "original" content on the air these days, and they almost always made me literally laugh out loud. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to commit certain deeds (on the new channel).

Money should never be a factor in parody channels or channels that use a lot of third-party content. If a channel gets popular, starts making money, and then loses the ability to generate revenue and calls it quits, that channel owner was _weak._ I have no respect for people like that.
I wish you the best of luck in your future whatnots, but if money is going to affect how and when this channel operates, I won't be a part of it.
I understand where you're coming from, but i don't think it's wrong to try and make some money to cover the bare necessities to make the channel run, software costs, broken equipment, even electricity and internet. It all adds up.
Getting any videos at all is perfectly fine with me, schedule or no schedule.

For Dark Simpsons, there isn't any set schedule yet but I'm thinking maybe once a month? As for Sour Simpsons, the videos take longer to make so I'll start off with a video every 3 weeks maybe? And I'll work on getting faster and try to bring that down to every 2 weeks, then down to every week. Again, nothing set in stone. But thank you for the support.

I' ve got to thank you for one thing: while almost every channel I've come across in youtube focus on criticizing the decline of great storytelling, it is always refreshing that this channel focus on creative storytelling.
