I love how it just ended on a joke about Homer being pathetic and dumb. I was almost expecting an explosion or nuclear incident, so it was a nice surprise.

Maybe the later episodes. Not so much seasons 1 to around seven or eight, when it was slightly more realistic.

But how do you explain the scratch marks on his stomach? Was that from an off-screen Mr. Plow session, which led to Bart telling Homer off, or does Freddy Krueger Groundskeeper Willie still exist in the Dark Simpsons world and it's such a common occurrence that no one bothers with it? Or is it just a mistake added for unintentional hilarity?
Now we want the director's cut with Homer becoming an angry, green hulk!

For a second there I thought you were going to use the clip of a Hulk-like Homer coming out of the melted-down Nuclear Inspection Van from the episode in which he's forced to go to college, but that ending made me pine for the "heh, no, by tomorrow you'll be barely able to breathe" acute radiation poisoning diagnosis Mike Scioscia got from Dr. Hibbert.
You know, he could have used both. Make it look like his hare-brained scheme was going to work, then smash cut to harsh reality.

Well at least the nurse can skip on injecting him with the radioactive dye for his x-ray. Also I'm not gonna lie, I was expecting an episode around Halloween weekend, and seeing Homer in costume gave me that impression when seeing the thumbnail.

My favourite part is definitely the simple changes to the books. Dark Simpsons has probably done it before, but I still love it.
A similar once happened to Adam West in a episode of Family Guy.
Also the way Bart was acting at the start, thought Mr. Plow was gonna make a appearance.

I never noticed the typo in Radioactiveman #1. He says "Im becoming radioactive." No apostrophe. In fairness, they didn't expect anyone to record it and pause at this exact moment back in 1991. Even if they did, pausing a VHS gives you a really distorted image.

This reminds me of that Family Guy episode where the family all get superpowers after they were soaked in radioactive waste, and Mayor West thinking the same would happen to him, goes to a powerplant and splashes in the radioactive waste but gets cancer instead.

The ambulance scene is a classic by now. I don’t even remember where is it from
The two episodes I know it was used on are "Homer's Triple Bypass" (the one where Dr. Nick operates on Homer after Homer has a heart attack) from season four and "Homer and Apu" (the one where Apu lives with The Simpsons and James Woods becomes the new Kwik-E-Mart clerk) from season five. I think the season two finale where Homer forces Bart to donate blood to Mr. Burns may have had it, but I haven't seen that episode in years, so if anyone out there still remembers the episode, please let me know.
