I jumped pool of ice water a college fraternity initiation rite. I thought my heart stopped, I am 73 and since that night I won’t even take anything close a cold shower.

The odd thing is I follow several boaters that cruise the globe and you and another were both in Comox at the same time. If your videos were live I would have let you know. That would have been cool. Well it already was cool with all that snow. Not only that but I live in Comox. Would have been nice to say hi.

And my wife and i enjoyed the fireworks, and then promptly wrapped ourselves in blankets and hugged the space heater as you did your Polar bear dives. I hope Shaun finds his manhood again, it's probably hiding behind his kidneys and won't drop back down till Easter..... 🤣

Hope you are all well. With anyluck just out enjoying Freedom and exploring. It is a lot of work to film, edit and post. Anyox, BC is a gost town only accesible via boat. I think it would make a fun cruising destination. The Columbia river Gorge is another good one.

Speaking of New Year's. A bunch of us decided one year we would celebrate the occasion underwater just North of Salty's at Redondo. We donned our SCUBA gear and entered the water at about 15 minutes prior to midnight and a half hour later we exited the water to a New Year. Was the quietest New Years ever. To top it off, a couple police officers came by and jokingly said it was against the law to dive; but, we just told them it was okay that that was "last" years law. Was a good laugh all around. Happy New Year to the four of you and give Sully and Martha and hug for me.
