I know you guys enjoyed the trip, but amazingly I felt I too circumnavigated Vancouver Island all because of your unbelievable photography. Your skills on the water seem to be equaled in your drone flying ability. What a trip, for you and for us thanks to you inviting us long. Thank you!!!
Completely agree about the video quality, soundtrack integration, and overall production quality. There are a number of more “popular” boating channels that don’t even come close. Thanks, again!
I don't know what you both do for your work, but I have to say that you could be filmmakers. Your videos are some of the most beautiful and enjoyable I've ever seen. I'm looking forward to your next adventures!
Elizabeth!!! You and Shawn really hit the mother load in thos episode! I have seen a lot of the areas on the inside passage, but I've never done the west side of the island. How beautiful! As always, what a wonderful job story telling, the drone shots, and the editing are arguably the best on UA-cam!!!
Have boated and cruised many areas of the world. Being a former native of the Great North West your Tube is a Fav! Your spectacular vid in the sky and on the water along with the editing make each adventure your share Spectacular! Thank YOU Guys for sharing… 😎
In my next life I am going to inhabit the west coast of Vancouver Island. As a tree a rock a grain of sand. I dont care I just want to live there. Excellent editing by the way. TY!
Great video series! I share your videos with my 86 yo mother who used to cruise the inland passage during summer months (1980's) with her husband aboard 'Bellatrix,' a 17 meter steel ketch. The BC scenery is still just as pristine and beautiful as we remember it. Thanks for bringing back those memories with your wonderfully produced videos and charming personal experiences. Safe travels, you four!
Many thanks for this. As a child in Alberni, I was, sadly in retrospect, unaware of what lay at the other end of the Sound. Now back on VI after working in Eastern Canada for far too long. Notice this was shot in mid-July; air and water much cooler now! Regards from Nanaimo.
Another spectacular video in the books! Outstanding as always. If this is truly the season finale we are all going to be in withdrawal until the next one.
The jump cuts in this video were outstanding. Which one of beautiful people edit your videos.? Love all your vlogs and eager to see the next one, kudos to you both.
Hi Guys what a fantastic cruise series .I would love to see a follow up video with how much fuel you burnt for the 900nm.Did you service the engine during the trip How many hours between services. Hints and tips things that failed etc. thanks again rgds Peter
Thanks to our 🇺🇸 sister and brother we were able to learn more about our own backyard than we could have ever ourselves. Thank you for the effort, capturing beautiful scenery and your positive vibes. Stay safe and see you soon! ❤
Not sure if it's something you are interested in but maybe a video on the different live aboard options and costs in your area would be a good video for the winter season.
Your videos have been great. You've shared the breath taking beauty of those areas. Thank you! Just a note to say how much I appreciate how well you guys take care of your amazing boat(yacht) We have had 7 boats over the last 50 years and kept them all like you keep yours. Shows respect and appreciation of how fortunate you are to be in a position to have these things. Love your dogs too!.
What a great trip. The only problem is that I'm sure you could have spent a week at each of your stop! I completely enjoyed tagging along on an amazing journey.
Thank you for sharing the absolute beauty of your trip. I have spent hundreds of hours on and around Vancouver Island in my lifetime from east to west coasts, but very few of those on boat or viewing from the sky. In high school I was privileged to be chosen 2 years in a row to be involved in biology experiments and exploration of Long Beach. Our results at the time were sent worldwide as no one else had been doing such work. I have been whale watching, fishing, camping and exploring and loving every moment of each trip, but your superb filming and editing have brought tears of joy to me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️ for this series!
I really enjoyed your trip around Vancouver Island. Your videography is excellent and the content very interesting. By the way I like seeing what you are eating. You manage to eat healthy and interesting food. Keep up the good work!
Awesome editing guys. Loved the drone shots synced up with music. Great music choices. Love watching your videos. Looking forward to your next adventure. Thanks for bringing us along.
Thank you very much for showing me places on the island that I’ve lived all my life and haven’t seen. ❤ You folks are amazing and awesome 😎 Take care and see you soon. 🤗
Really spectacular video(s) from the footage itself, to the drone shots, editing, music tracks, voice over, sculpted mermaid, and wildlife. Wow! And Freedom too, just an incredible live aboard trawler, absolutely my favorite boat. Salute! Great stuff! Very talented videography...
Totally enjoyed your trip around Vancouver Island. Great footage and amazing wild scenery and the day to day adventures. Just watching this at 38,000 ft over the UK heading back from Greece for home in 🇨🇦.
I really like your videos! I look forward to the next episode every week. Demanding topic selection, professional image and sound! The condition of the boat is wonderful, I would go to the end of the world with you! Good luck with your plans, I'll stay with you! Best regards!
Once again you've provided quality viewing, great scenery with complimentary music and some light comical moments. More power to you guys! many thanks 🙂
Another great video. Thank you! Elizabeth, don't you miss seeing things in "real" when you are busy doing the camera work?? But don't stop the camera work - love them!
No because every time I see something beautiful or interesting I think, “damnit that’s such a great shot!” So I prefer to film and have the memory saved for later 😉
Love your trip! Next time why not take along a few friends to see it with you! In Shane, from Calgary tho’ I went to Stanford in the San Fran Bay Area (& Silicon Valley!). Used to live in Vancouver but I prefer sunny Calgary - which really is like Denver. I had the romance of my life in Victoria: we used to drive for a beautiful time at a fabulous shoreline resort called Point No Point - on the highway past Sooke, before the Jordan River, on the Strait of Juan de Fuca & before Barkley’s Inlet. If you ever want a honeymoon or anniversary hideaway with chalets & a couple of beautiful private sandy beaches - & the bistro is truly Cafe de Paris - all on the cliff shore with stunning views!!! Enjoy Queen Lillabet with eyes to die for!!!
You guys are so much fun to watch! I would love to be able to do what you are doing, and the informative description of the areas that you are exploring is amazing. I live on Vancouver Island, and I'm learning things I did not know before. Hope to see you back next year! 😊
Thank you so much for sharing your journey. We live in Washington and are reconditioning a boat which should be able to take us on a journey in this area. You give us hope and incentive!!
I a word WOW! Magnificent scenery. You folks sure know how to cruise, I cannot get over how the trees seem to grow and thrive on solid rock. Just a few observations. It is always fun to scare - or at least irritate - the bejabbers out of the Mrs in a sketchy area in a dingy. Your scene with the pizza and the pups evoked memories. Our Lab loved pizza crust, and I did not - so that worked out well. Is night running a problem in that area? I have seen videos of large numbers of floating logs that could pose a problem in the Pacific Northwest. Keep up the great work.
Love to see you in the PNW. I know you have talked about going south, but after living , asking and motoring in SoCal, you would be bored in about a month. There is so much to see and do up here while there are few islands or towns to pull in to down south. Yes, the weather is warmer, but the motoring would be pretty boring. Hope you stay in this area. I enjoy watching your expeditions throughout the northwest. I enjoy the channel. Keep it up.
GreatVideo! The drone shots were spectacular, Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Your chihuahuas are so good they’re just so adorable. I Love Your Channel. Thank You for all your hard work. Seriously your videos are Lovely. Welcome back to Seattle. PeaceAndLove Lori
So beatifull thank you for sharing. From OH and lake Erie area and recently did a cruise to Alaska out of Seattle so beatifull maybe you guys will make that trip one day.
That was an awesome trip around the island, we live up in Port McNeill, so really enjoyed following along on your journey and can't wait until your next big adventure 😊
Hi guys. Coming to you from San Antonio Texas. You guys are really living the dream. Sad to see the season go by so fast. God bless stay safe. Hope to see you on here soon.
Thank You so so very much for your fun beautiful videos. I am an older fart now but when I was young I owned 2 24ft 1 21ft and a 29ft all sea rays. I knew the puget sound and up through vancouver island like the back of my hand all back when a compass and depth sounder were the standard equipment. You bring back many memories and the beauty of these waters never ends. I have to say the look you captured on your husbands face going into the water was to good. Again Thanks for your hard work making these superb videos. I watch every one of yours.
Thank you so much for yet another great adventure! And for inspiration to find joy in the boating life. Following you from Norway, which in some ways are kind of similar to the coast you sail, so it is very interesting to watch. All the best to you!

🇨🇦 's "bookends" (Vancouver Island & Newfoundland) are absolute gems! ❤❤❤❤
Enjoyed the techie talk while swimming around the boat, and of course the drone videos and places you visit. Thanks for the new memories.
Absolutely one of the best UA-cam channels. Professional level video editing and music selection. Looking forward to all your future videos.
Talking about the best traits of a Nordhavn never gets old.
Awesome trip y'all...thanks for taking us along!!
I don't know what you both do for your work, but I have to say that you could be filmmakers. Your videos are some of the most beautiful and enjoyable I've ever seen. I'm looking forward to your next adventures!

The editing for this was top notch! Great job!

I've said it before. Your story telling is over the top. I get lost with the music, the scenery and your adventures. Look forward to the next chapter.
I think that you two are great. Thank you for the level of effort you go through to provide us an opportunity to join you on your adventures.
Thank you for taking me on your voyage. --BAK--
Hey, Freedom family. I have to say this video and many others have a great choice of music.
Great video series! I share your videos with my 86 yo mother who used to cruise the inland passage during summer months (1980's) with her husband aboard 'Bellatrix,' a 17 meter steel ketch. Super trip guys. Already anticipating your next voyage.
Glad you found the energy to film and document your summer vacay! I hope you continue to post your short trips and boat projects! Thanks again.
What a beautiful area - Bamfield was amazing . Your video / drone work is top notch .

Really enjoyed this series on your cruise. 👏👏👏
Thanks to our 🇺🇸 sister and brother we were able to learn more about our own backyard than we could have ever ourselves. Thank you for the effort, capturing beautiful scenery and your positive vibes. Stay safe and see you soon! ❤
Our pleasure!
That was a great video. I liked the way you narrated it. Your voice is amazing.

Can you tell us or show us more on how you operate the drone ... it's great viewing for all the beautiful scenery. Thanks.
What a great trip. The only problem is that I'm sure you could have spent a week at each of your stop! I completely enjoyed tagging along on an amazing journey.
Thank you for taking us along!
So loving seeing your videos again!!
What a fantastic vlog, what a fantastic journey, what a fantastic family, thank you so much for all you do to bring us along.
Your Vancouver circumnavigation was breath taking.
Wonderful showcase of The Broken Group and Barkley sound. An are we used to fish, dive and explore years ago. Beautifully done.
Wow. What a great trip. Have to say, Vancouver Island is one of my all-time favorite destinations.
The adventure was awesome! Looking forward to the next. ❤

Another Professional Grade video. The drone work is exceptional! Freedom and Venture are the Best Boating videos on UA-cam. ❤
Yes, I knew it. Shawn, you make the exact same facial expression jumping into the water as I get opening up my property tax bill. 😮
