Well I would think that a band's music video would be animated correctly especially Gorillaz, I've noticed in a couple songs you can see that Russell (the drummer) is animated correctly as well as 2d and Murdock.

They didn't animate it correctly in the first phase, I believe they didn't in the second neither, I can only be sure that they animate it correctly in the last two phases.
