Harlequin Shrimp will catch a starfish, hold it captive & eat It alive, arm by arm, waiting for starfish’s arms to regenerate to eat again, sometimes even feeding the starfish algae to keep It alive over days to weeks while they feed on it.

I know I’m late but from what I’ve seen they don’t need to be fed that often and they can feed on a few on the super small starfish
