wait, this diagram for flamespire brand makes no sense. just go with clock spots and have the people with flares go clockwise as needed while the stack group runs directly to the center, followed by everyone going back to clock spots for the spread. this formation puts the stack group way too close to the tank flares and over complicates things. like there is a reason there are 4 safe spots on the outside of the arena.
Happy's strat is most likely for uptime but lets be real, it's an extreme not a savage so sacrifice uptime for safety! Personally the guide by yukizuri is better and comes with a raid plan! MrHappy please update this video and remove that before PF adopts it!!
@@reiderlaoch7690 I haven't confirmed it, but I assume you can even stand max melee in the outer rectangles to keep uptime without the flare killing people, so that'd make it even better.
Hard to explain the way I do 6th purgation with full uptime without drawing but... I'll try. 1. Figure out which fuse is a cone (follow one and swap if it's a box). 2. Keep in mind their 90 degree configuration - that is, is the cone the left or right fuse in the \/ formation. 3. Once you're at the cone, go away from the other fuse (if the cone is the left fuse, go further left - if the cone is the right fuse, go further right). 4. The ideal max melee position is slightly more than 45 degrees off from the cone. So if the cone is north (and the right fuse), you want to be slightly more east than northeast at max melee. This is because the box can be northwest, west or southwest depending on the formation of the fuse.
Yukizuri has a video with a bit better explained flamespire that does not kill the party in PF, but I like this vid on explaining purgation. :D My brain just cannot deal with that part, i needed some sort of system behind it to make it happen.
Oh Mr Happy, you make me happy. I am so glad you posted this clear concise guide, I cleared it a couple of times yesterday on patch day and I'm still struggling with the rotating circles and fuses part and following others which isn't always ideal, hoping to understand the mech for myself. Ty for taking time to make this guide^^
I am so sorry Haps, but… I got a migraine trying to understand this and it doesn’t click at all. I’m not capable of understanding this in the way you explained it, I guess.
I think this is one of those things that will vary person to person. I still can't visualize how Zodiark's arena moves, but I can get this one no problem. So, personally I find this to be easier than Zodiark. I also find it to be easier than Barbara, but harder than Hydaelyn and Endsinger.
the tether strat is bad, you need to split up the tethers, otherwise there is a chance for the next 2 players to get the same tether and you will explode, just seperate them a bit to the left and to the right, is not hard
I thought the same but the weapons are a good motivator😄. Now I'm tanking runs for Mt. Ordeals EX. Haven't cleared yet but just go in and give it a shot.
The only reason you're too shit is because that's what you think. As long as you can get a decent enough rotation to clear the training dummies and you're okay with running into some snobby people (and really nice people) you'll do great. Its a game and fun is the highest priority at all times so if it looks fun go for it.
@@louisking3459 Hey I'm thinking of stepping my toes into EXs. Just curious if you've managed to clear yet and if you have, if you've got some advice 😀
Gentle reminder that posting spoiler thumbnails and titles on patch release day is not very kind to peeps who haven’t gotten to the content yet. Thanks for the guide! Hope you enjoyed 6.3
It's not, it's way more traditional FFXIV. Solve a few jump rope mechanics or learn how to get past the visual obscurity of a mechanic like fuses and you're all good. That doesn't mean its disaster free
NW/NE has been pretty persistent in PF, people just have the odd tethers slightly to the left and slightly to the right. You can also circumvent this by doing exactly what I say in the video: each person that comes in steps in front of the other players. If 3 walks in front of 2, 4 in front of 3, etc. The description also has the other methods, and a link to a video with them.

Hey all! Please check the description for an updated video guide on Flamespire Brand + Flamespire Claw!

I was just coming to say this, the strat in the video seemed overly complicated when it's as easy as going to clock spots :')

You right on the money. I've done this in PF with groups and people doing this phase 10 diff ways and it's been wipe after wipe.
Yep - group I was in yesterday just had people go to clock spots - out with flares and in with stack, then back to clocks.

This HAS to be the worst flamespire brand strat. I actively can't think of a more over-complicated strat.
Great guide, I was wondering how hard this extreme is compared to the others in endwalker?
I'd say it's the hardest one yet. Especially the last few mechanics.
Compared to Barbaricia, its slightly easier but gets harder at thebend
I found the newer mechanics a little intimidating at first, but I'm finding this one slightly easier to learn than Barbariccia.

It stays spoiler free for about 48 hours before it's changed for visibility.
but today is not patch release XD the title and thumbnail were only changed today
