Thanks for another beautiful video. What I found most satisfying is that your tamping mat looks like mine when I wake up in the morning and not perfectly cleaned . . .
Your video is amazing I have Kalita Tsubame 185 and Cleaver Dripper both dripper's are amazing. I should try it out April Brewer Kit it look really nice. Thump up for you 👍
I am formally nominating that shot at 8:50 for an Oscar under the category: "Most Epic F#@$ing Coffee Shot That Almost Made Me Cry" ...I think it's a new category. Best of luck
What carafe are you using under the clever? I've been looking for something that can hold 700-1000 ml that has a small enough mouth to cause the clever to open.
Is it my Niche grinder or my Quickmill Vetrano Evo 2B? With the same beans on the same grind setting the second shot runs faster. This is after recovery time for filling the first shot with water, not from the boiler, for my wife's Americano, weighing, grinding, distributing etc in prep for second shot. Would the pressure in the espresso machine change? It's hard to imagine it's the grinder because the next morning the first shot is consistent with the previous day.
Can I ask as a future potential coffee snob, what is the appeal of the single dose grinding like the niche? It feels like any time you're making coffee for more than one person it's a fair sight less convenient than a grinder with a larger hopper.
Coffee snobs only make coffee for themselves and have to make videos that include any or all of the following: Linea Mini ( or other £2000+ machine, Fellow Stagg kettle, any WDT gadget £100+, Niche Zero grinder, Kruve glassware, tamper £100+ and a bottomless portafilter. Don't you know anything? 😉
For ma and most coffee lovers the appeal is being able to grind and make multiple different coffees back to back without much fuss, emptying a hopper, and with the Niche specifically not having to purge your grinder between each dose.
Hi I have a few questions, how come you don't wdt or use a leveller? I'm very new to this and I want to learn the difference in the different workflows
Anyone know what espresso cup that is in the beginning?

It was great to drink my morning coffee while watching this! Awesome video! What's the trick to have proper brew times with the April brewer? When I grind to the suggested settings and do the recommended method I always end up with around 1:30 drawdown. Have you had this problem?
Totally in love with all your vids! I have a niche too and would be nice to know the number settings you use for each brew method in this vid :) keep up the great content 👍🏼
Thank you for the kind words! The numbers frequently change based on the coffee and it’s age off roast. But espresso for me is usually between 10-20, For the Clever I use around 40-45 and the April I used 50-55ish.
You can't adjust the niche while grinding without circumventing the safety mechanism. Not that it would be difficult to do, because you could just press the button that detects that the lid is closed with a toothpick or something similar. Niche does recommend pulsing the grinder when decreasing the number (meaning when making the grind more fine). I'll typically, accomplish this by turning it on and opening the lid, turning it about 10-15 numbers, letting the lid fall, and repeating that process until it's at the setting I want.
Genuinely was after something like this (did you see my comment on the JH subreddit?!). Not spritzing the beans, yet but too much coffee stuck to the cup 🤔. The sludge (really fine coffee) at the top of the pourover validated my results doing exactly the same 😁. Wasn't sure if there was leftovers from the previous grind. Also, seeing the settings on the NZ was great. Cheers man.
Right on thanks for watching! And I don’t think I saw your post on Reddit, I generally steer clear of coffee on there, it’s like the UA-cam comment section on steroids.
that was damn fine! what an experience, I loved it! probably my favourite video from you ever. favourite moment was 6:38 which had that great beat change and you took the pourover cup outside. this video made me think, is this like your daily routine, making all these different brews in one day? also do you actually play music irl when brewing? 🎶
I’d say this is pretty close to my daily routine, but maybe not so many different methods. Generally espresso in the AM, filter in the PM. I absolutely listen while I brew, and generally always while filming too.
Awesome video, I love watching people make coffee and the music goes so well with everything. However why can't you clean your tamping map? It takes all of 5 seconds?
The upcoming Niche 2.0 grinder will feature an integrated LOFI soundtrack, cost twice as much, and will have a year-long waiting list. Great vid!
Haha that would be a cool upgrade, shame it’ll be when I’m switching to the Weber Key!
Wow! Can't believe they would be able to reduce the waiting time from a decade with all those features!
@@Sprometheus lmao. Funny to look back on
Now you're just showing off, and i love it.👌
Haha, honestly I’m in the middle of a move so a simple video like this is just a nice place holder.
Your effort is appreciated. Love your videos. Looking forward to more of em.
Thanks for showing a realistic workplace full of ground coffee 🤗🥰
You’re welcome, and thanks for watching!
Good idea, showing workflow like this. Lots of info without words getting in the way.
Absolutely. Nice break for me as well. Just get to make coffee.
beautiful beautiful art on the flat white! looked amazing :D
Thank you my friend!
Beautiful
Thanks Joel!

Beautiful! ☕🤜🤛
Thank you 🙏
Meticulous and masterfully done, this video is superb beyond measure, the music is magical and mesmerizing. Encore please
Thanks Orrin! I’ll have to put together another one using different drinks and methods in the near future.
@@Sprometheus looking forward to them, you are excellent at making those, a breath of fresh air in the UA-cam world.
Just enjoyed your video imagining the taste of coffee
It was as good as it looked! Thanks for watching!
Wonderfully filmed video which I am sure to watch multiple times. 👌🏻
Thanks for sharing and have yourself a great weekend Spro.
Thank you my friend! I appreciate the consistent and kind support! Hope you’re having a great weekend as well!
And after 4 coffee drinks, he begins to think, "what do I want to make for breakfast? "
That’s a fact! And usually it’s a breakfast burrito.
Cleanest video so far from you Sir. Amazing work. Thank you
Nice video! And those kruve glasses look so good!
Thanks! And stay tuned for a review on them soon!
I reckon I can watch that all day... ☕ Not a fan of V60?
I actually use the V60 a lot, but have been really enjoying the April lately for it’s simplicity and consistency
@@Sprometheus love the linea mini, I use the Rocket Giotto at home
Well I enjoyed that more than I probably should of. So soothing.
No shame in that! Thanks for watching and the kind words!
I could watch 100 of these,
I’ll be sure to make more in the future!
Massive props for using a Clever Dripper, it's my go to brewer as well!
Great video. Makes me want a coffee right now and it's 11 pm
Gotta keep some decaf on hand for those times! Haha
Very beautiful, good of you to include cleaning the steam wand, one can never know if James Hoffman is watching. 🤣
Haha, well it may come as a surprise but I clean the want for my machines sake, not James.
I could watch this video on repeat for hours
Same! I feel like I need to make a longer version.
Watching while drinking coffee, of course! Happy Friday, Spro!
The best way to watch! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend.

Thank you! And I absolutely recommend the April. Great brews and super simple.
so perfect!
Thank you 🙏
Two words in a nutshell, relax & see 🌹 really love it 🥰
The right words! Thanks for watching!
Hi. What is the accessory that you used to put the coffee in the portafilter? The “long cylinder” that you rotate?
Thanks
That’s the WPM EspCup, there’s a full review and explanation of it on my channel somewhere.
This video is pure meditation... 😍
Congrats!
Is perfec Espreso Coffee..👍
Lofi + Coffee 🙌🤎☕
A great combo!
Master piece 👌🏼🖤
uuuuuhhh yeah👌👍
that coffee cup on the fence in part 3, was the most stressful moment of my day today
Wow even your shower looks a lot better than mine on the mini 🥲
I’ve got a nice IMS screen, definitely a great looking piece!
Wonder how many of us wash their hands before grabbing beans and make coffee? Curious (≧▽≦)
Not me, but it’s only my grubby hands in the Atmos haha
They whole intro I was waiting for the slow motion shot being pulled, beautiful work, you have amazing camera skills!
Thank you for the kind comment and for watching! Cheers!
Dope!
I thought the video ended @ 2:35 lol. It's so relaxing.
There are a couple tricks as they transition that’s for sure!
May I know whether you leave your Linea Mini on 24/7, or you start it up as and when you plan to make coffee? Thanks!
I don’t. I only turn it on while using it.
10:04 I was a little nervous there 😓😱😂
Gotta keep you on your toes!
Love your commitment to raw doggin the dose
Haha only with milk drinks!
Great video. What's the caraffe you are using with your clever?
4:00 I like the pour under method :D
Always gotta go that route with the Clever! Haha
I am formally nominating that shot at 8:50 for an Oscar under the category: "Most Epic F#@$ing Coffee Shot That Almost Made Me Cry"

Haha thank you my friend! I appreciate the kind words and support for all of my videos!
I use the Horzion Organic milk also but have found that sometimes the omega 3 version can give off a fishy smell when steamed. Do you ever find that?
I haven’t had that experience personally, but doesn’t sound all that great for your coffee haha.
Neat 😎
Thanks for watching!
Nice
Thank you 🙏

@@Sprometheus do you have the grinder running when adjusting?
@@azzarooni8532 I don't think it is necessary. There are no coffee beans remaining inside so no need to adjust

👏👏Love your videos. Could you send a link where you bought your stainless steel coffee cup for grinding coffee into it?. TÍA!
It comes supplied with a Niche Zero grinder.
@@cheekster777 I see thanks!
What coffee related books were there on your shelf? Great video! Thank you and stay safe! 😊
I’ve got a few issues of Standart, the Book of Roast and The World Atlas of Coffee.

Where puck screen go??!?!?
I often times only use it on lighter roasts.
Hi sir
Did You know several coffee models from different brands that tasted very close to Lavazza rossa?
Nice video ! (see our Taiwan coffee videos too)
Thank you 🙏
