Our goal is to have every Filipino in the world watch all six episodes of The Filipino Story! 🇵🇭
"We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat." A Filipino in Chile right now. Crying my heart out with pride of being a Filipino. This is worth watching and sharing. Thank you for creating this wonderful video. Mabuhay tayong mga Pilipino!
Bye heart., mind and spirit I feel, thanks and Believe I am a Filipina whenever, wherever and whatever place I've been, worked, loved and lived during my 73 years of my earthly existence always aware and prouf of my roots and extensión of my being sharing and serving my loved ones, countrymen and fellowmen as I love God! Almighty thru His Grace, blessings, gifts, talents, knowledge, knowhow and wisdom!
I just came from my brother's house and unfortunately his mother-in-law died and my sister-in-law told me how her neighbours helped them when the day her mom died. While they were busy attending to her mom in the hospital to the morge and other process they need to attend to, their neighbors helped in cleaning the house, even doing laundry! Looking out for the kids and making sure they're fed while the parents are away. The Homeowners Association took initiative to set up the tent where the burial will be taken place and set up signs to inform people that the road is closed and use alternative streets. Grabe yung community spirit and it amazes me to see that. True, being Filipino is all about loving and caring whether it's family or the community 🤩
i shared this to my former araling panlipunan teacher maganda daw ipapanuod sa AP classes. ill keep spreading this series around family, friends and educators
My favourite channel now. I have lived and worked abroad for more than 4 decades and I did not lost my identity as a Filipino though I have a British citizenship. Yes, life outside the Philippines is much better and organised but I am very proud as a Filipino living abroad. Tatak Filipino na hardworking, respectful , maalaga at Mapagmahal sa pasyente and we excelled in every aspect of work we do. The stamp spirit of bayanihan is a crown of every Filipino. 🇵🇭 This channel boosts my pride and Pilipinas mahal kita. ❤
"We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat." I love this qoute as it really reminds that we are all in this together. Whatever hardships, trials, and problems we are all facing we are not alone! Proud to be Filipino!!
I’m not Filipino but Mexican American and I felt the same. After getting to know the culture from filams in California I’ve learned that I can’t stop being around this culture. ❤ the kapwa omg 🥲
Filipinos have continuously exhibited the qualities of togetherness, bayanihan, generosity, and brotherhood throughout history despite being colonized and oppressed by other countries. This perseverance has helped to define our identity as a nation. Being Filipino makes me proud because our cultural spirit is deeply rooted in caring for the welfare of others, exemplified by the word "barangay," which signifies our cooperative nature and community development. I was reminded by this video that, despite our location, Filipinos are still connected no matter what. We frequently run into fellow Filipinos even overseas who call us "Kababayans," reflecting our unwavering camaraderie. Our culture has the bayanihan spirit instilled in it forever, and I'm glad we accept it as an integral part of who we are.
From the title alone, it’s clear that this is an “Every Filipino MUST WATCH,” especially for the younger generation seeking to understand what it truly means to be Filipino. The video vividly captures the essence of our bayanihan spirit and highlights the way we care, share, and love our family, neighbors, and community. Videos like this are a testament to the beauty of our heritage and the pride we hold as a people. Mabuhay ang pagiging Pilipino!
I learned so much about the history and heritage of our ancestors. One very interesting thing that I saw was that the spirit of "bayanihan" still reflects on our culture today as we can see a lot of caring and hospitable Filipinos. What a very heartwarming video!
This video was a refreshing reminder of how proud I am to be Filipino. At the core of every Filipino is a caring and loving person, passed down from our ancestors. Their legacy of helping others and creating tight-knit communities is deeply ingrained into our culture. This is what sets Filipinos apart-we always look out for one another.
Our history has molded our identity as Filipinos. Our ancestors' unique values and practices have been carried and passed on to our generations and continue to reflect in our culture and way of life. Despite being separated by distance, we continue to manifest our Filipino-ness in how we uphold our roots, the shared experiences we cherish, and the pride we take in our heritage.
The way the video weaves the history of our ancestors with our present-day culture is just so powerful. The idea that "each person did their best to contribute to the journey" speaks to the way Filipinos are naturally drawn to support one another, just like the early balangay crews did. What truly captures my spirit is the mention of bayanihan, being "heroes to one another" without expecting anything in return, which reflects that innate desire for altruism and meaningful relationships. And, It’s not just about helping others, it’s about carrying on the flame of a shared history, something that makes the Filipino heart beat with quiet strength and purpose.
This video made me realize how proud I am to be a Filipino. The Philippines is a country that is rich in culture and tradition-valuing the greatness in each and every individual. These types of contents are those that I truly look forward to watching because these showcase who we truly are! :>
Grabe!
Watching this video really hit me with a sense of pride and connection. It made me think about how tough and resilient we are as a people, and reminded me of our amazing culture and all the struggles we've been through. It felt like a wake-up call to appreciate where we came from and step up to help shape our country's future. It just reinforced for me that, as a Filipino, I've got a part to play in moving us forward, learning from our past to build a stronger, more united Philippines.
To care, to share, and to love. Kudos to The Filipino Story Studio for consistently releasing high-quality videos such as this. Though as simple as they are, these three words perfectly encapsulate what it truly means to be a Filipino. May these words serve as a reminder of our Filipino spirit as our shared past continues to bind our people all over the world. May it be a guiding light for those who have lost their way, and are longing for the warmth that is found in the heart of every Filipino.
Since high school where we tackled the topic of Filipino (particularly in Araling Panlipunan, if I remember correctly), I often asked myself "Ano ba ang Pinoy?", "Bakit ako Pinoy?", "Ano ba ibig sabihin pag tinawag akong Pinoy?" I still seek for the answers but watching this video enlightens me. Being Filipino means "to care, to share, and to love". Filipinos continuously strive and help each other in whatever hardships they may face. Ika nga nila "Kahit mahirap kang ipaglaban, pinipili pa rin kita Pilipinas" dahil masarap pa rin maging isang Filipino.
The video is only 5 minutes, but it perfectly captures what it really means to be a Filipino. The spirit of bayanihan not only shows our sense of being a community, but also the resilience that was passed down through generations, such as during times of colonization and even problems in the modern day. There will always be a time that unites everyone together, no matter where we are or what we face, we are stronger together while also lending a hand to others who need help. It is not the country but the people who makes it so special.
This video really captures the heart of what it means to be Filipino. It's not just about our shared history but also the deep sense of community and support we show each other, especially in tough times. The bayanihan spirit is alive in every Filipino, whether at home or abroad, and it's that collective resilience that makes us stand out.
Filipino is not only an identity or merely sharing the same language, but is also the bayanihan spirit we have in ourselves that is being passed down from generations to generations. The spirit to share, to care, and to love one another is the root of our identity, and is also what truly defines us to be a Filipino.
I realized that throughout history, we Filipinos have always shown care, kindness, and resilience toward one another. As the video mentions, we have a "strong sense of togetherness" which has helped us survive and thrive as a community, even as we face countless challenges from wars, natural disasters and calamities. It fills me with pride that these traits are still evident and that we continue to value and treasure these qualities, showing the world who we truly are as Filipinos.
As I watched this video, I felt a sense of pride seeing how far us Filipinos have come. From our Austronesian descent, to our perilous battles in obtaining our freedom as a nation -- the mix of emotions I felt while watching our history was the presence of the bayanihan spirit, our guiding light. We are who we are today because of our history. All of it. The Filipinos of today live to tell the tale of our ancestors' victories, which is why we must continoue to tell the sstories of our history and our origins.
This is a perfect answer to our doubts and questions about our Filipino identity and pride. In moments of extreme challenges and turmoil in our country, when we begin to be feel ashamed of our Filipino roots, it is worth remembering that we are rooted in an ancestry that have transcended the struggles of the past, even spearheaded maritime transportation, and established innate moral and cultural values that even us carry. Bayanihan, for one, is in fact something deeper, as a core value in Filipino culture rooted in communal harmony and heroic sentiments, it fundamentally forms a society of positive interdependence rather than a toxic community bonds. This spirit of shared responsibility and mutual assistance remains vital in addressing contemporary challenges and building true Filipino communities, reconnecting us with the true essence of the Filipino identity, of sharing, of caring, and of loving our fellow Filipinos and beyond.
The bayanihan spirit is a fundamental part of being Filipino, and is what drives many Filipinos to pursue careers in helping others and to prioritize sharing and giving, especially during the Christmas season. It has been a source of strength for Filipinos throughout history, from wars and natural disasters to everyday life, and is characterized by selfless acts of kindness and heroism. Being a Filipino means to care, to share, and to love one's family, neighbor, and community, and to recognize that despite physical distance, Filipinos are one people on the same journey.
This video beautifully embodies the essence of being Filipino, highlighting our strong sense of community, resilience, and the enduring bayanihan spirit. It reflects how Filipinos come together in times of need, showing love, care, and support for one another. Our kababayan culture truly captures the core values of Filipino identity. Contents as such resonates deeply with our shared culture, reminding us of our heritage and the warmth that connects Filipinos across the world.
I have been searching for a long time for something like this! Finally! Maraming Salamat to all the creative and brilliant minds behind this masterpiece! As a mother to a 2nd generation immigrant, I educate them in our best capacity for them to stay connected to their Filipino roots. So thank you for this educational material!
This video depicts that we, Filipinos, are more than just our stereotypes. We have a vibrant and diverse culture that came from the different experiences we have encountered and from the journey of how we came to be. Filipinos have shown bravery, resilience, strength, cooperation, and most of all-heart. The heart of Filipinos can be strongly felt through the actions of love and care and it is something that truly defines us.
If there's one phrase that can sum up Filipinos, it is "We're all in this together." From our ancestors sailing in balanghay to modern Filipinos within in the Philippines or in foreign lands, we always carry our bayanihan spirit wherever we go. This sense of unity and shared responsibility is not just a tradition but a way of life that binds us together, allowing Filipinos to thrive even in adversity.
In my master thesis I wrote that our Filipino Personhood shows perfectly in our social interaction. The unique concepts of Filipino shared identity, shared-sensitivity and shared-humanity in human relationship and social interaction became captivating symbols of our pagka-Pilipino...a personhood that comes from our collective consciousness.
Filipinos have a strong sense of community, especially when it comes to unity, perseverance, and bayanihan during tough times. This spirit shows that Filipinos are always ready to lend a hand, looking out for one another and showing support whenever it's needed.
The video made me realize how smart and kind we Filipinos are. It is literally in our blood to help our fellow Filipinos, as we are all part of one community, like how we are all in one boat. As a Filipino, I can truly say that being Filipino means to care, to share, and to love, these are values that are deeply ingrained in us and evident in our actions. It’s this unique spirit of bayanihan that sets us apart, showing how our shared identity and culture bind us together.
Mahalin natin ang ating sariling wika upang labanan ang mga manlulupig na dayuhan. Ito ang paraan upang manalo sa digmaan ng mga kaluluwa dito sa lupang sinilangan, mabuhay ka kaibigan.
This video captures the heart and soul of being Filipino. It reminds us of our deep-rooted history, resilience, and the values that make our culture unique. Watching it filled me with pride and a sense of connection to our ancestors' struggles and triumphs. It's a powerful call to embrace our identity and work together for a brighter future. Thank you for sharing this important piece of our story - it’s a must-watch for every Filipino who wants to reconnect with their roots.
This video summarizes the depth of what it actually means to be a Filipino through togetherness. In history, our ancestors exhibited how we can succeed in working together as a community with compassion for one another. As years go by, this has been a value passed on to generations. Thus, wherever we are in the world, we, Filipinos, will always practice “bayanihan” through unity and cooperation, which is why we are known for having a heart “to care, to share, and to love.”
I admit that it may be hard to be a proud filipino sometimes because of numerous social issues and problems happen in the country but videos like this from The Filipino Story reminds us the core values our ancestors have instilled in us.
This video perfectly captures the essence of being Filipino--a strong sense of togetherness rooted in our culture. From the "balangay" symbolizing our journey as one people, to how it evolved as "barangay" signifying our small communities in each city, to the bayanihan spirit which speaks our desire to help one another, we see our unity and shared purpose. This spirit shines especially during our long Christmas season, whenever someone greatly represents our country internationally, our even through the OFWs that work for their families. Being Filipino means to care, to share, and to love, no matter where we are in the world. Thank you for creating this video and reminding us of our values, bringing our shared story to life.
hello po, this is a student from SSA Pampanga from 6-St. Augustine. thanks so much for visting the halls your team used to run in once more to present to us this inspirational series which is still in the making! so many of us have picked up the message and initiated a power from it. hope to see the full story really soon!
"If we look at our history, I guess you could say that being Filipino means to care, to share, and to love." This line really hits home because it reminds me how much our culture is grounded in compassion, as per the Filipino "makabayan" spark. I think it's amazing how we still have that collective spirit, whether it’s helping a neighbor or celebrating together. It makes me appreciate that even across the world, we carry these values that connect us all, no matter the distance.
From this video, I really admire how much of an emphasis our Filipino culture puts into caring for one another whenever and wherever. The bayanihan spirit being at the core of who we are as Filipinos makes me very proud to be part of such a community and is something that I aspire to embody in. In what we do and where we go, I hope that all of us will be continually reminded of what it means to be a Filipino and to share that meaning with the people around us, whether family or strangers.
This is a great way for my pupils to understand the deep roots of our culture. It’s an excellent presentation! I hope my pupils will realize that our country is even more incredible than they could ever imagine.
The video beautifully captures the essence of being Filipino through the lens of the bayanihan spirit. It emphasizes unity, cooperation, and love for one another, reflecting how our rich history shapes our identity today.
After watching this video, I realized that being Filipino is about caring, sharing, and loving. At our core, we are one people, united on the same journey, navigating the same boat toward a shared future.
This video made me realize that we are still Filipinos, no matter where we are. There are a lot of OFWs who sacrifice being away from their family to earn a living; however, they are often homesick that they want to go home right away. Even when we go abroad, we will always encounter Filipinos who would approach us and call us "Kababayans." Our bayanihan spirit is permanently imprinted in our culture, and I am proud to be a Filipino.
As I watched the story, I was struck by how strong and resilient the Filipino people are, as seen by their common experiences and history. The story reaffirmed the value of solidarity, pride in one's cultural identity, and the ability to overcome hardship. Building a stronger future requires an awareness of and respect for our heritage. It made me think about how optimism and teamwork may result in significant change.
Respect for elders is one very unique and impt Filipino trait that should be highlighted in this video. It what separates us from other cultures. Thank you for doing this endeavor. Will surely share this with others. Pls continue doing more episodes. We need to have a cultural renewal.❤
Such an insightful journey into the roots of Filipino culture! Understanding our ancient ancestors helps explain why Filipinos are so resilient, warm, and community-oriented today. Seeing how these historical influences still shape our identity and traditions is amazing. This video is a great start for anyone curious about the rich heritage that makes the Filipino spirit unique. Mabuhay!
A great video! It highlights what truly means to be a Filipino. Our traditions, virtues, values even the words we use today all go back to our Austronesian roots. I myself felt my sense of pride as a Filipino seeing this youtube video and even more so when I started playing it. I sometimes feel ashamed of the Filipino heritage but were they originally from us? Or foreign influence? Being a Filipino perfectly feels like being the embodiment of helping each other without return (bayanihan & love for the Christmas season). Learning this, I've cherished my heritage more because of knowing the past.
In the video, I express my deep love and pride for the Philippines. No matter the challenges, my commitment to this country remains unwavering. I'm proud to be Filipino. 🇵🇭
What defines who we are as Filipinos? It is our bayanihan spirit. The narrative of our ancestors and their balangay boats shows how we've always collaborated and helped one another to thrive. Being Filipino means caring for our kababayans, may it be with helping our families or being kind to our neighbors. No matter where we are in the world, it is evident that this spirit stays with us.
This reflection on what it means to be Filipino really captures the heart of Filipino culture. It shows how important community, cooperation, and kindness have always been, starting from the time of the Austronesians. The idea of bayanihan highlights how Filipinos help each other, whether at home or around the world. This strong sense of togetherness reminds us that our identity is not just about where we come from, but about the bonds we create with one another. In the end, we are all united in our journey, no matter where we are.
The video encapsulated what a Filipino is. It beautifully portrayed how Filipinos are caring and loving to its family and community. It showed how united they are by portraying the spirit of bayanihan even during times of hardships. As a Filipino, I can witness how true and relatable that is. People in their barangays are friends, and they are being loved and cared for in their own communities.
As a Chinese-Filipino, being Filipino encompassed the vast history and kinship that we've had with China all across history. Yes, being a Filipino factored in our history, culture, and community that has represented us globally, and even more as a Chinese-Filipino, it shows how the Filipinos could extend these values further and across the world!
Discovering "The Filipino Story" feels like a serendipitous moment. The challenges we face today, many of which stem from the actions of individuals in power, can sometimes make us question our sense of national pride. It's disillusioning to witness these negative behaviors from our fellow countrymen. However, this first episode serves as a reminder of our deeper roots. By revisiting our history, we reconnect with the essence of who we are as Filipinos-a people defined by unity and cooperation, traits that have always been central to our identity. The video eloquently states that "being Filipino means to care, to share, and to love," values embodied in the concept of "bayanihan." This tradition of collective effort is not just a part of our past but a vital tool for our present. If we embrace bayanihan today, we can confront the challenges we face and work together to secure a brighter future for our country.
Collaborating different people, but the language is one. FILIPINO IN HEART (TAGALOG) THANK YOU FOR GIVING US THE TOUR OF TRUE MEANING OF FILIPINO.(LOVE)
Thank you so much. This is the most perfect time in our World History to rediscover that We are ALL one people, on the same journey, on the same boat….. We are all Filipino and only now starting to see it….
Being a Filipino brings so much joy to me, as someone who grew up in a family who endlessly shared and provided selflessly. Now that it's even more emphasized that it's really because it's ingrained in our Filipino genes of being hospitable and selfless.
THIS IS AMAZING! Especially for Fil-Ams, newer generations who are curious to know more about their roots, & other ethnicities who just want to know more about our culture! PLEASE... KEEP THIS GOING & POST MORE EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS para sa mga kapwa at anak natin. MABUHAY! 🇵🇭🫡✊🏽
This video is a great reminder of the strength, talent, and rich culture of Filipinos. It shows who we are and what we stand for in a way that’s inspiring and easy to connect with. Thank you to The Filipino Story Studio for creating something every Filipino should watch and be proud of!
Watching this really highlights how early Filipinos came together as a community-working side by side to navigate the seas, fish, row, and steer, each person contributing what they could because they all shared the same journey. The spirit of unity, care, and collaboration runs so deep in our culture, and it's amazing to see how we’ve kept those values alive to this day. Filipinos genuinely look out for one another, a legacy of our ancestors who valued helping and uplifting each other. It's inspiring to think about how this culture of "bayanihan" still shapes us, reminding us that we’re always stronger together.
The spirit of bayanihan is deeply ingrained in the Filipino identity-a testament to our ancestors' communal values. Witnessing early Filipinos working harmoniously to navigate the seas, fish, and steer their vessels highlights the power of unity and cooperation. This cultural value reminds us of the strength that comes from working together, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. Today, as we navigate the challenges of the modern world, the spirit of bayanihan remains a guiding light, urging us to uplift each other and build a better future.
"We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat." This exactly captures what it means to be a Filipino. No matter where we are in the world, Filipinos will always care for, love, and support one another. We come together, especially in times of need, united by a deep sense of togetherness. It's this unique bond that defines us-and I’m proud that people around the world recognize this quality in us.
The pride in being Filipino stems from this cultural ethos, which emphasizes connection and collective welfare. This universal bond reflects the Filipino capacity to maintain cultural integrity and kinship, even in diverse and challenging environments. Ultimately, the bayanihan spirit is a testament to the strength and beauty of Filipino culture, illustrating how communal values shape identity and provide a sense of belonging, no matter where one is in the world.
This video filled me with pride and a renewed sense of responsibility, reminding me of our resilience, rich culture, and the role we each play in building a stronger, united Philippines.
Today's time can often leave many people feeling uncertain about their own Filipino identity. I deeply appreciate everyone who contributed to this video because it beautifully captures and reminds us of our rich culture and the values that have shaped us. Watching it allowed me to reflect on how some of these attitudes remain at the very core of our hearts and minds, guiding us even in modern times.
Growing up in the Philippines, I have learned of how different its culture is, not only when compared to other countries but even within its own territories, almost every area has its own distinct culture. I really love how diverse the Philippines culture is and I think it also reflects the characteristics of Filipinos. I think it is because the Filipinos are hospitable and loving people, that’s why there are so many different and diverse cultures in the same nation but still be in harmony.
This video reminded me of the strength in our shared values. Us Filipinos continue to thrive by supporting one another, wherever we are. It inspired me to keep improving and contribute to the betterment of our race and build on the progress we’ve made.
This video gives a great background on why Filipinos are often found as the middle ground between multiple Asian cultures. Our Austronesian ancestors have attributed greatly to our tendency in mixing parts of other cultures to our own. Not to mention, it explains the love we have for migrating from place to place. Filipinos are often taken advantage of because of their helpful and hospitable nature, but this video shows how heroic it is to do so by pointing out our "bayanihan." We must not forget that this caring nature of ours is what forged our nation in the first place, and what keeps the Filipino people alive today.
The hardships and tenacity of the Filipino people are powerfully reflected in this video. It draws attention to significant historical events and promotes patriotism by highlighting the virtues of cooperation, diligence, and the significance of keeping one's ancestry in mind. It's a powerful exhortation to Filipinos to value who they are and cooperate for advancement.
The bayanihan spirit endures, even outside the Philippines. Living in different countries does not diminish the invisible connection we feel, Filipinos are bonded, rooted in our unwavering kindness, generosity, and hospitality toward each other and our broader communities.
I think the video beautifully captures the essence of being Filipino, our bayanihan spirit, resilience, and a deep sense of community, as shown through stories of togetherness and compassion. It reminds us that no matter where we are in the world, we remain connected by our shared values and heritage, making us proud to carry the identity of a Filipino. Kudos to the creators for showcasing these timeless qualities that inspire us to preserve and pass them on to future generations.
"We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat." I really love how this quote is depicted at the end of the video as the color of the art landscape symbolized the Philippine flag. It also incorporated the origins of our Filipino which is balangay or boats in the quote. As a Filipino who has lived my entire life in the Philippines the video appropriately showcased the culture and tradition of our fellow people.
I really enjoy how the video explores what Filipinos were like before being colonized. It shows the history of the Austronesians, being skilled seafarers and explorers and how words today such as "barangay" came from the word "balangay". It also explains how the concept of bayanihan is deeply rooted in our culture and allows us to have a strong sense of community, belongingness, and cooperation. To be a Filipino, is to care, share, and love indeed. It really is what connects all the Filipinos around the world. I love and super appreciate the visuals this video has!
This video has beautifully and perfectly captures the essence of being a Filipino and how it is rooted way back from our Austronesian ancestors. This video is also a reminder for us that we have endured challenges and disasters because we Filipinos have bayanihan forged in our hearts, that being Filipino means to care, to share, and to love, and that "We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat."
Filipinos always joke that whenever you're in a different country and you find a fellow Filipino, you call each other "kabayan" but that actually shows the bayanihan spirit of our people. Being Filipino is suddeny becoming bestfriends with someone you just met based solely on the fact that you're both Filipinos in a different country. It's feeling pride, joy, and connection in the simplicity of seeing someone from your country, even so far away from home.
As a student coming from outside the Philippines, I now have a better understanding as to why my fellow Filipino brothers and sisters kindness and resilience is deeply enrooted in their culture. These values are what kept their austronesians ancestors alive as they search tirelessly for new archipelagos, and has been passed down through generations, as exhibited both in times of fortune and hardships.
I personally think it is beautiful that we can trace back our Filipino trait of "bayanihan" back to our ancestors-something that we still see being practiced nowadays. It shows that our hospitable quality is inherent and deeply rooted in our roots, how caring about other people, family or not, makes us Filipino. This quality cannot be taken away by anyone from us, not even the colonizers.
We are a community that celebrates the beauty, the genius, and the spirit of the Filipino, and we exist to awaken the next generation of bayani to reclaim the greatness of our people 🇵🇭
If you felt inspired by this episode, share it with Filipinos you know! Our goal is to have every Filipino in the world watch all six episodes of The Filipino Story! 🇵🇭
"We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat."
A Filipino in Chile right now. Crying my heart out with pride of being a Filipino. This is worth watching and sharing. Thank you for creating this wonderful video.

A Filipino is what makes life of many Filipino miserable. Just look at what the politicians and people in authority are doing.
“We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat” 🇵🇭 kudos to the team behind this channel!

I'm lucky for not being Philippines lol, what a poor and corrupted country
"We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat."
.
unfortunately, the world doesn't see it that way anymore, even though our "boat" is our mother earth herself 🙁🙁🙁🙁
.
Just suddenly remembered The Dawn's song "Iisang Bangka".
Salamat Kabayan!! Mabuhay ka!! let's spread this channel by sharing in other platforms! new gen needs to know our history!😊
Thank you so much for your support!
Amazing quality. So proud as a 2nd generation Filipino American. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!
Thank you for watching!
funny. i’ve been watching about hawaiian culture and loved how stories are passed down. thought filipino’s need more of that. this video is gold!
We do! Thank you for watching!
Despite being separated by distance, we continue to manifest our Filipino-ness in how we uphold our roots, the shared experiences we cherish, and the pride we take in our heritage.
dapat ipalabas ito sa lahat ng school sa Pilipinas lalo na sa elementarya
"We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat"
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas🇵🇭
Crying over this video. I can't wait to be home again! Kahit mahirap kang mahalin, pipiliin pdn kita Pilipinas ❤
This video brought out the Filipino heart in me! Kudos to the group behind this, Mahal ka namin Pilipinas
Why did i randomly start crying watching this?! I didn’t know I needed this. Thank you!
The animation tough is great!

Thank you for creating this video and reminding us of our values, bringing our shared story to life.
you are great, may the Lord continue to show and enlighten your works, mabuhay ang Pilipino!
hello po, this is a student from SSA Pampanga from 6-St. Augustine. thanks so much for visting the halls your team used to run in once more to present to us this inspirational series which is still in the making! so many of us have picked up the message and initiated a power from it. hope to see the full story really soon!
"If we look at our history, I guess you could say that being Filipino means to care, to share, and to love."
This line really hits home because it reminds me how much our culture is grounded in compassion, as per the Filipino "makabayan" spark.
It emphasizes unity, cooperation, and love for one another, reflecting how our rich history shapes our identity today.
this may be the most important youtube channel in my life
After watching this video, I realized that being Filipino is about caring, sharing, and loving.
Mabuhay!
Thank you for working to promote our Filipino nation.
This should be shown in every school! Please make it happen 🥹
Being a Filipino brings so much joy to me, as someone who grew up in a family who endlessly shared and provided selflessly. Now that it's even more emphasized that it's really because it's ingrained in our Filipino genes of being hospitable and selfless.
THIS IS AMAZING! Especially for
Fil-Ams, newer generations who are curious to know more about their roots, & other ethnicities who just want to know more about our culture!
Wow! Thank you for engaging and leaving us a comment! We are happy when our community feels the pride of being a Filipino!
Goosebumps man, I'm Filipino myself but i can feel this
The bayanihan spirit endures, even outside the Philippines. Living in different countries does not diminish the invisible connection we feel, Filipinos are bonded, rooted in our unwavering kindness, generosity, and hospitality toward each other and our broader communities.
Im proud to be Filipino. The culture of bayanihan and kapwa is very unique to us "Filipinos"
❤❤❤ made me cry 😢 I would surely share this to my foreign friends
I think the video beautifully captures the essence of being Filipino, our bayanihan spirit, resilience, and a deep sense of community, as shown through stories of togetherness and compassion. It reminds us that no matter where we are in the world, we remain connected by our shared values and heritage, making us proud to carry the identity of a Filipino. Kudos to the creators for showcasing these timeless qualities that inspire us to preserve and pass them on to future generations.
This is amazing. Makes you even more proud to be a Filipino.
"We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat."
I really love how this quote is depicted at the end of the video as the color of the art landscape symbolized the Philippine flag. It also incorporated the origins of our Filipino which is balangay or boats in the quote. As a Filipino who has lived my entire life in the Philippines the video appropriately showcased the culture and tradition of our fellow people.
Thank you for this, I can use this video as a lesson supplement in Political Self, a topic in Understanding the Self in the college.
