This video is the most informative guide I’ve found on Iceland’s itinerary and must-visit places. It’s concise and incredibly helpful for planning my trip. Thank you!
This was great! Part of me is glad I didn't find your channel as I was surprised with so much that I saw (My wife and I did the Ring Road summer '23), but part of me is mad as I missed a few things! Oh well...I guess I need to go back!
I’m trying to think of somewhere epic to visit for both my 40th birthday and 20th anniversary with my partner, coming up in a couple years. Iceland is on a short list of possibilities! I’ll be watching many more of your vids on this topic. Thanks for the content.
Did an organised specialised dedicated photo tour last Feb last year with a small group (9) and it was super - what it did was to give you the confidence to undertake a self drive tour to at least get your bearings and also to get a sense of what to expect. Currently planning to do a self drive expedition by using Mads wonderful videos on top of what I experienced last year! Mads, your stuff is extremely inspiring!
Have only recently come across your vlogs on you tube and they are bloody wonderful. Iceland 🇮🇸 is my favourite destination and have lucky to have visited twice. I have been to some of these destinations especially South Iceland, Snaefelsness Peninsula and North Iceland. Still so much more to see and you’ve given me some wonderful ideas for my 3rd trip. Will now start watching all your vlogs on this wonderful country. Thank you 👏👏
Brilliant whistle stop guide to doing a lap of magnificent Iceland. Just found out I am going this August with my youngest daughter for 4 days. Trying to plan a lap in a camper van, taking in the best sites with limited time and this video is invaluable, will plough through your individual Vlogs on the sites and pick the “must visit” ones. How do you pick from so many incredible places 🤪🤯
Thanks a mil Mads. My planning for our February adventure now just got a lot easier. We will go anti clockwise. ;o) one day, I sincerely hope to meet the man behind the best photographers guide to Iceland!!!
how amazing of you to provide nature at its most pristine beauty ans also a means to reach to such places.i wish you had something similar for Lofoton Islands in Norway .best wishes.i will get yours books and i admire your hard work.
wow, I am exhausted from the whistle stop tour Mads - it is truly amazing how much you have covered and how much Iceland has to offer beyond the honey pot locations. No idea if I will ever make it there but your guides will be invaluable if I do. Much respect to you.
Thank you so much! My wife and I are visiting Iceland in Sep next year. This is an excellent guide. We will most likely do the trip counter clockwise. Thanks again. Your photos and vlogs are exquisitely beautiful.
Bravo Mads!! A big thank you for all the hard work and dedication you have put in the Iceland series. I was in Iceland in the middle of September and all the iconic spots I photographed was made possible because of you. Looking forward to your next projects.

Great vid Mads. The pace of the narration is perfect. Keep it that way, clear and directly to the point. I'm leaving for Iceland tomorrow for 4 days around Vik (4th time). Hoping to see the northern light again !
