senyon selt
Harden most take it to the next level and win a championship. The NBA will never appreciate him because of his style of playing. So he should force them to do so.
@@abdulmalekrk3693 Yeah but i dont see him winning a championship without a big change occurring to him or his team.

This is not a stats.
I walked you through James Harden scoring in 61 games. With remainder that I didn’t mention assist or steal which considered a good features on Harden.
With q huge reminder that Giannes playing in the East which is the weaker said of the NBA.
If you played in any type of organization basketball you would know who difficult to score 30 points in one night.
@Leland Joseph harden was the only team to take the super team warriors to 7, and could have won without the cp3 injury. So I think those stats perfectly showcase value
tbh Curry's MVP numbers were due to him playing significantly less minutes than any other MVPs. In fact the lowest minutes played by an MVP ever are '15 curry then '16 curry. Those low numbers were simply cause he blew teams out, still easily deserved the award
Currys per 36 in '15 is 26 and 9 mvp level for sure
True but remember he’s not using team success as a swaying factor you could make a case for Davis, and Harden’s MVP odds in 2015 even though their team success was mediocre compared to Curry’s, but 2016? Not even close in fact 20 games in I truly believe Curry stole that award and ran off with it. No one could even come close to Curry’s historical dominance in 2016, I’d even argue that his “2016” season is a top 3 MVP season of all time behind MJ’s, and SHAQ’s.
He also won due to more emotional reasons

@SkyH23 personally, the 70s are underrated imo and full of talent. There were stars spread throughout the league, but no dynasties. If I'm not mistaken, Lakers missed the playoffs that year because of the outdated format of team selection. By today's standard, they would've been seeded. If anything it shows how badass Kareem was to win MVP and not make the playoffs. Dude put up 27.7pts 16.9reb 5ast 4.1blks and 1.5 stls

Wow this channel is a hidden gem 💎 great vids man 👌🏽
Analytically Lebron beats Rose, but analytics don’t do Rose justice. His season was one of the few ever I would describe as magical. Dom2k did a video on why he should have won and it did it so much more justice than I can in this comment so I recommend you check it out.
Roses season is becoming so overrated it’s fuckin unreal
Musab Marzouque the same people who cry that context matters are the same people who say Giannis is the mvp despite lebron having a better narrative... roses season was good but holy shit it was no where near lebron, that’s why Lebron spanked him as soon as the playoffs came
CaydeIrving03 chill bro
CaydeIrving03 put rose on Miami and Lebron in Chicago and Rose wins in 5 no cap.
Again, this video isn't the same as dom2k made for the 2011 mvp argument. His points are based on ACTUAL MVP selection criteria, while jonny's vid, is focused on how the MVP each year will be IF it's based on production (stats) and impact on both ends of the floor (defensively and offensively). Lebron had better overall stats and individual impact, while rose had the 'against all odds' narrative edge plus the best team record in the NBA while being the team's best player.

Too bad its not 2059. I guess this is the last one for 10 or so years
Harden "solid" in 2015? Come on, man. 27-6-7-2 on 61% true shooting, and led the league in win shares. Thats literally the formula you used to give others the award and you didn't even run down his year, as if he wasnt in the conversation.

If the Bulls werent full of crack heads and actually a decent team he'd have it almost every year. Even the greats at that time admitted in Jordan's rookie season he was the best player they had ever seen and back then players didnt give props like that even if they knew the truth. My bet for the 80's decade MVP would be Bird. I know he only got 3 rings to Magic's 5, but he was always the best player on his team from 1980 onward, which was one of the top two teams for the 80's, while Magic only became the Lakers top dog midway into the decade. Jordan was the better player in the 80's but these were his losing years.

That 2018 LeBron season was so underrated because Cavs was only 4th place in ECF but that run in playoffs was legendary.
It wasn’t underrated when everyone still over-glorifies it all the time. Yes, individually for LBJ it was very impressive but when considering he went against a bunch of developing kids on weak teams att with virtually 0 AllStars (Bos ECF, the only Superstar in Kyrie injured ffs), Notorious DeplayoffChoker (2nd round), and a bunch of nobodies with one mid caliber AS in Oladipo. Plus adding to that meh run he got swept again in the Finals after only one great individual performance. When you add all of that then the totality of the run isn’t that impressive. I’d take any of Hakeem’s playoffs runs when he was a massive underdog and you know, actually won a championship against way tougher comp all around. Or Kawhi’s actually Legendary 2019 performance against actual comp and superstars and actually winning the title. I’m not expecting LeBron to win against the Warriors that year but at least close one damn game bruh.
Imagine the scenes if flight reacts to this

@Allen Iverson nah bro. Wilt is playing 48 minutes. That's like 1.5× more than Giannis. Giannis 2020: 30ppg 13reb 5ast on 61.3%TS and DPOY in 30 minutes per game. Wilt's Career: 30.1ppg 22reb 4ast on 54%TS (most rebounds are statpadding) in 45 minutes a game.
DO DPOY from 1st season of NBA. I want to know Wilt stats in defence and how good he was
Extremely difficult. Blocks and steals weren't recorded back then let alone all the other advanced defensive stats. On top of that, footage is so limited so you can't really watch many clips to analyze his defense and on top of that, rules were so different that it's tough to compare his defensive impact to players of the modern era. We pretty much just have old people telling us that he was an elite defender and we have no choice but to believe it
Unfortunately we have to wait 10 years to see this format again😂
You can literally make the reverse argument for the mpg. Harden had to play more minutes, so he could help his team win(which they needed because a few key players on their roster were injured for a big part of the season), ergo he is more valuable than giannis in that perspective, plus imagine playing every single game accumulating those amounts of fatigue and still averaging an otherworldly 36 ppg. For me it isn't a questing Harden deserved the mvp that year
this man hated on harden the whole video. he just dismissed everything harden did and just acted like he was playing like an average player. but when lebron came into the conversation every time he was drooling and couldn’t get up off his knees. i hate the disrespect sm
The amount of durability and stamina it requires to play that many minutes consistently doesn't show up in the box score, so it's easy for a lot of people to underrate. It's the same way people like to criticize Wilt for "needing" 48 minutes a game to average 50 points at 130 possession average. You show me another player in history you could maintain that pace and those minutes for an entire season, in chuck taylors, then we can talk about how easy it is to put up those numbers
Again your just going off of his offensive stats when overall Giannis was just as efficient on less minutes and a much better defender?
@@justincieminski2010 first of all harden averaged more steals and was still a solid defender. There is no way you think defense is more valuable than offense in the regular season.
@@foxtun6746 I’m not saying defense was more valuable but you can’t ignore that he averaged way more rebounds with almost the same amount of assists and he was a much more efficient scorer and defender than harden

As much as a love this video, it isn’t really “who is the best player” it’s more “who had the best season regardless of games won”
Heatles LeBron was amazing. I'm a Heat fan so maybe I am biased. But for all the hate he got for the cramps and Ray Allen "saving his career" with the shot in game 6, man was a force of nature. Playing with a good team let him dominate on defense. You need good teammates to win, which this team had. And his shooting stroke was the best of his career. He got older and wiser, but this was the most explosive and dynamic he ever was, with solid footwork and a solid three point shot
17, 18, 19 all belong to westbrook

Jordan taking half of these lmao.
Honestly I even if you disagree with some of the stuff this guy says, you just can't dislike him. There's literally no detectable biasness in his voice
