Description:
Spider bites can sometimes turn you into a superhero, as in the case of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: The Movie. Assume the role of Peter, a good-hearted teenager bitten by a genetically engineered spider, which gives him muscles, incredible strength, and spider-like abilities. You'll have to learn how to control your powers including Spider Sense, web-slinging, and wall crawling, and the all-new aerial combat moves. The world's toughest villains, including Shocker, Vulture, and the Green Goblin will all be after you. Are you up for the challenge? - Ігри
For some reason the one line that stuck with me through the entire game was: “Life sure is strange sometimes. No matter how much you want to hold on to a moment, you can’t stop time from moving on.”
EXACTLY!
it helped so much with mourning people ive lost.
SAME I NEVER FORGOT THAT LINE
Defo one glued in my head
Came back here to see this exact moment
5:14
The intro is so early 2000’s
M4RC0 [87] and It’s perfect
Lord Lui
*nostalgia*
M4RC0 [87] exactly
Just like TEKKEN 3 lol
And that's why I love it
I love how the Vulture voice actor reprised his role for the PS4 spiderman
I heard that the shocker voice actor is also in ps4
And Josh Keaton (Harry Osborne in this game and Spider-Man in the 90s cartoon) is in PS4 Spider-Man as Electro.
@@basedbattledroid3507 Josh Keaton wasn't Spider-Man in the Neversoft games, that was Rino Romano
Cool.
@@rickwatson4331 No.
Shocker voice actor in Spider-Man (2002) is Michael Beattie.
In the PS4 game is Dave B. Mitchell.
At the end they just casually start kissing in front of a dead mans body, ok early 2000’s 👌
With his mask on 😂
The fact that Tobey Maguire actually did the voice for Peter Parker in these games was probably what made me love these games as a kid, it didn't feel like a cash grab (even though it probably was) it actually felt like a movie tie in game and until Spiderman 2 came out this was my favorite Spiderman game. I haven't played Spiderman 2 in years though, I could only play it at a friends house when I was a kid and because of that I haven't played it since it came out and after playing Spiderman 2 I couldn't play Spiderman 1 again
One other thing to mention is how real Tobey looks in the games.Spider man 1 and 2 used rendered cutscenes to make him look like th movies counterpart but for 3 they didn't need to use rendered models as they just used the game models but Even in 3 Tobey In the game still looks like Peter in the movie even when they used lower polygons on the PS3 Hardware.
@@Donnie-Edits9 I always found it funny how in the SM3 game the green goblin mask in the opening cut scene looks like melted clay and SM1 it actually looked like the goblin
Spider-Man 1 and 2 were one of one of the few good movie video games. And it walks always cool that they got Tobey to voice Spider-Man because it felt like getting an extended movie
Exactly bro
Willem Dafoe is there too.
No Spider man 3? What a surprise 😒
No, there are plenty of good movie video games.
@@warsthemarvel8608 there was one but he probab didnt count it since it wasnt to good
It's so strange, but I haven't even looked at this game for at least a decade but upon rewatching the intro to the subway fight with Shocker I still got a sense of dread hearing/seeing the shock waves rumbling down the tunnel.
Dante Diep The Shocker level in the tunnels was hardest for me
Then later seeing someone beating that mission without taking damage 💀
Literally gave me a panic attack it was so fucking hard, I don't know how Shocker could run so fast.
@@liamroberson440 got stuck on vulture for like a month but shocker definitely scared me the most
Bro same lol
"Shocker's school of hard knocks is now open!"
"Give me a break, Shock I can't believe you have any class let alone a whole school worth!"
The battle should've ended right there
Oh man I wish Tobey had these quips in the movies.
@PokeBoy122 he quips against his big bads when the opportunity presents itself and on his own and low stake situations.
@Keenan Hosfield
It’s you who’s out, screenwriter, out of your mind.
He actually quips more than Andrew in the first one. The knife scene is just more prolonged but regardless Spidey isn't always quipping dude. He doesn't have to always be.
@@anthonygarcia8749 yeah but in the second one andrew has some quality quips. Maybe not that much but he FELT like Spidey.
Same here
The screaming after the panda balloon falls
The Scorpion cutscene where the robot spiders crawl through the pipe is amazingly shot.
True, also the whole scorpion plotline feels like something that could have been in the movies
Scorpion oh fuk off lol its the worst mission on super hero difficulty to defend him for NOTHING he is sadistic and a remorseless bstred
Is scorpion arachnophobic?
Oh yes they are.
RaimiHaters: Tobey's Spider-Man doesn't quip!
*Me an intellectual:*
Lol.. Yeah, but most people refer to him not doing it enough in the movies. Overall, it didn't really bother me. I thought he said more than enough throughout each film.
AnonymousAffection here’s your change
@@cristianpalaguachi4093 you are getting on my nerves
Zafar Wahidduddin I’m gonna put some dirt in your eye
@@cristianpalaguachi4093 you should say "i have a knack for that"
A lot of things made me feel uneasy playing this game as a kid. I felt like I was actually Spider-Man outside of his comfort zone facing all these unfamiliar threats.
This is a very interesting take
@@InsaneCopePosseYeah it makes sense though. This was Peter’s first year as Spider-Man and he lacked experience especially fighting against supervillains at the time. In the sequels with a few exceptions it got relatively easier with the boss battles.
14:41 i quote that line a lot
We’re the same person then
34:09 "Look's like your done now, go outside and play"
That makes me feel like I was a little child who just watch the movie
I like how the video game establishes Osborn and Oscorp as the enemy long before Osborn becomes the Goblin.
WTF I cant even remember the whole part with Kraven????
You probably didn't have this game for the Xbox. Kraven was an Xbox exclusive.
YTWarrior100 true, i played it on ps2
@@TBAG so do I
Yo lo jugué en Nintendo GameCube en mi infancia y ese enemigo de traje de tigre jamás lo vi era una exclusiva entonces v: para ps2 y xbox ?
I think it was exclusive only on Xbox because of all the things happening on screen in the trap rooms
3:02 I could never understand what he said when i played this as a kid
It took me a couple tries at 23 lol
What did he say?
@@LukeWayne1939 DON'T! The guy you want is Spike! He's probably in that old shipping warehouse! It's right on the river! That's all I know!
@@matthewwatkins4938 "Thanks"
@@LukeWayne1939 WOAAAAAAH urgh....ohh ...
"Those wounds never truly heal... Let's talk about MJ now!"
Literally just "Oh no...Anyway!"
The wounds the actor of MJ caused in the reviews never really healed
Benjamin Parker: These are the years when a man becomes the man he's going to be for the rest of his life. Just be careful who you turn into. You're feeling this power of becoming a man, and with this great power, comes great responsibility
That scene stuck with me the most more than anything else in this game
@@AlemanHyuga I cry all the time I see and hear this part yeah its short but it's has emotion to it
Greatest quote
Peter Parker: Yep. That's my life. Complicated. Looks like you're done now. Go outside and play. 34:05
19:22
Spider-Man: Rescuing Damsals is my specialty!
Me: Pity about the other civilians though.
But he does save other civilians.
I love this cutscene 4:23
7:17 that webbing detail..I wonder what kind of mesh deformer did they use
More like cumshot
@@joegoldberg3481 hàaààa
@@MultiFirelover 😂
@@joegoldberg3481 do any of these fuckers ever pop out of the wall and have like a huge cumshot?
I always LOVED that scene
I loved that they reused this Scorpion design from the PS1 Spider-Man game. This was the best interpretation of Scorpion's costume next to Mcfarlane's.
Norman Osborn: The board can't fire me! I built this company! How dare they!
4:24 😤 best monologue in the game
8:42 Uh Shocker it's not safe to destroy an object in order to kill someone when three on the phone they'll flip out when they get saved.
6:05-6:09 Or you could just talk to him....
Same thing I was thinking lol😂.
Like in The Amazing Spider-Man 2? xD
"I want to help you, Mr. Osborn. I really do. But I can't give you my blood"
Not only do we get one Spider-Man we get two. Josh Keaton voices Harry.
I love and have this game since I was 10 years old sure brings me back childhood memories playing this I remember being able to not get pass the shocker part in the subway, and the Oscorp breaking and entering but made it through. Tobey Maguire is one of the best Spider-Man ever hands down too bad Kraven was only in the Xbox version only cause I have this on PS2.
I Dont Know Why But I Own Every Version Of This Game, PS2,Gamecube,Xbox,PC And GBA
I Only have NGC and XBox version
As you should, this game is a classic
The intro always makes me feel emotional
Vultures voice actor...did they use him for Professor Pug in Arkham Knight? They sound the same
Edit: Yes they are. Dwight Schultz did the voice for The Vulture in Spider-Man and the voice of Pyg in Arkham Knight
He also played Vulture again in Spider-Man PS4
@@dccomicsmarvelcomics3811 Well, I'll be damned.
DC COMICS MARVEL COMICS I was wondering why he sounded so familiar
@@SlickSkuddy Vulture's voice actor in this game(Dwight Schultz) also voiced Dr Animo from Ben 10 franchise.
The dude on the phone the pillar almost fell on. His lack of awareness always killed me🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
yeh right lol
Spider-Man (2002)= Hardest Spider-Man
How’s it hard? I finished it when i was 5
I couldn't get pass shocker
Jared Cortes You must not play a lot of games. Ultimate Spider-Man is very easy.
@@canceritself1854 i played it like 6 years ago
the offer is hard and the levels after "the offer" r more harder
“Huh, whats this door doing open?
MEHHHRRR”
“People got to be more careful, the cops could show up on anytime.”
I never realized how he just left his clothes behind at 2:00.
Kinda bummed they didn’t have J.K. Simmons voice Jonah Jameson
9:10 even to this day I tell myself that guy is the worst hostage I've saved in my whole video game career. I played this game when I was 5 and I'm 22 now
😂😂😂
Such an emotional connection and the soundtracks always hit the spot. "This game really makes you feel like spiderman" jajaja wow!
HOLY SHIT. I don't know what is but I must have either gotten stuck on certain parts of this game or replayed / rewatched certain cutscenes a million times. Cutscenes like the one with Scorpion are literally engrained into my brain...
Braeden Archambault not having a memory card bro
22:09 lookin kinda like prince there bud
Holy shit I just realized he calls Green Goblin Emerald Elf which is an early Green Goblin in the Spiderverse comic. Although, that came out after, so I'm confused.
Padded Pete is also probably a reference to Paste-Pot Pete aka Trapster.
Spider-Man called the Green Goblin "the Emerald Elf" as a sarcastic remark, guessing what his name is, not as a reference to the Spiderverse comic.
If I ever play Spider-Man in a movie I’m definitely suggesting we copy that intro because that free running and music is just perfection
Bring back memories ah the good old days
I Dont remember kraven being in this game
It was exclusive for the Xbox version.
I wish he was in a movie of Spiderman
@@liamjamesevans ah fairs I had it on ps2 lol
Ooooooh I was wondering
@@BladedBear whaaaat damn
"So you're called Shocker but your thing is Sound waves? I don't get it."

I LOVE the score they use for the Green Goblin in the game.
Me too. Imo it’s better than the Elfman and Hans Zimmer goblin themes
9:07 The current generation in a nutshell.
Brace for "ok boomer"
“Holy shit that’s boomer as fuck.”
Boomer moment
As a Gen Z you’re right. But atleast 30% of us are normal.
Geez these three 5 year olds above me are such crybabies lmao.
@@Abdurrahman-gf2jj True, although our number might be low enough to be considered exceptional. Lol and I think the first comment was a prediction which made the other 2 look stupid and hilarious.
7:18 god that looks cool
Norman Osborn: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Dr. Mendell Stromm: Mr. Osborn! Are you alright?
Norman Osborn: (Grabs Dr. Mendell Stromm and throws him)
Dr. Mendell Stromm: AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
I like how the Spider-Man movie adaptation games pad themselves out by adding in other villains from the comics.
4:24 Uncle Ben sounds like Xavier: Renegade Angel
Life...life...life
The way this is all animated.. 4:40 this part reminds me of the game life is strange lmfao
He even says it! 🤣
I've always wanted the track from 4:24 but it's not in the soundtrack :/
Good and sad memories. I wish there is a series and part 4 and so on of this Spider Man Triology, but impossible.
Tobey is a quippy Spider-Man but casuals don’t know that
5:14 the text on the right page is a mirror image of the left page, and for whatever reason it's talking about the Windows Media Player (and a Nikon camera i think)
What's funny is that the graphics in this game look better than the sequel lol.
"I could write the copy myself!" is a line I did not understand as a 10 year old....but totally understand now.
My very first Spider-Man game.🕷🕸
And the game that make me love Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker/Spider-Man even more.
i remember every single one of these,
remember playing this game non stop as a kid
I've finished the game over 50 times.
i never got tired of it
I love how the balloon falls as he's talking to MJ on the roof lol
Watching Willam DaFoe transform into Goblin all over again in this game was fucking horrifying as a kid.
This, tony hawk underground, and smack down here comes the pain. My child hood was dope
I remember when I really wanted a Spide-Man game to look like this CGI little did I know that 18 years later there would be a bunch of them that look even better
It's kinda hilarious how Tobey's and Willem's performances are so starkly different effort-wise. Goblin's energetic and crazy lines are met with such an indifferent tone, it's just so funny, lol
I love Spider-Man
These games are why Tobey is my favorite Spider-Man.
The first one hit me with nostalgia so hard
19:09 uhh Spider-Man I think people are being crushed by that ballon there’s people screaming
I remember playing this game for the first time I had a little trouble playing it so I gave it up . But now the ti got the PS2 I’ll try it again and remember how fun Spider-Man really is
With the whole plot of tracking spiderman's dna signature is cool and is a nice way to include someone like scorpion in the game. But when peter parker goes home the robots could go after him then, they would covertly get his dna and his identity would be blown.
Spider-Man: Stop right there, Murderer!
Carjacker: Huh?
Skull: What the.....
Carjacker: Don't let him through!
Ahh..the great dialog
I got the door for you boss. He ain’t getting through. Hnnngh. HNAUGH
When I was 9 playing this game, I genuinely thought and felt throughout that the green goblin was my ARCH ENEMY. And it was done organically not just because I know he was the main villain. That was my favorite part about this game as I played in the hospital recovering from almost dying. ❤
Spider-Man: brothers huh? Well thn I'm telln mom
I used to cry when I couldn’t pass the train station mission, trying to dodge Shockers hits 😂 I’m 25 now and do it with ease !!
Lol I'm right there with ya
Two levels that was harder than life.
The shocker tunnel level
And
The oscorp stealth level.
I never really had a lot of trouble with the shocker tunnel level that much. But that Oscorp stealth level was ridiculous with how the difficulty ramped up so high.
Is it me or scorpion was on a complete paranoia trip lol it was kinda funny
The SPIDERMAN dialogue is actually pretty good haha it’s not a random dude or quick little replies
Lmao @19:09 he just leaves mary jane on a rooftop 🤣
Well at least she was safe away from the green goblin.
super saiyan Goodman II. Yeah but then the panda ballon fell and people were screaming so they probably got crushed and injured
Aww such happy memories! 😃😍😍
I was but a 10 year old boy when this came out, loved it then!
6:17 the game gives a pretty interesting take on the movies plot with oscorp and Norman being actively aware of where exactly Spider-Man had gotten his powers
There is a reality called... Earth-96283
Is where the Spider-Man trilogy take place of the movies and the games too.
Missed a 50-50 part in "Vulture Escapes" when he may damage a hook holding a girder
Best intro in a Spider-Man game of all time
Always a cool nostalgic game, but such tough levels. What a relief how much easier and more fun Spider-man 2 is. My favorite all-time spider-man game🤗🕸️🕷️
I still really didn't care about this game but it will always be placed in my heart.
4:24 i like that phrasing of the classic with great power comes great responsibility
Spike : Spider-Man is gay
Spider:Man 4:05 - 4:07
um who is spike
spike is uncle bens killer
@@bilalmujic2673 that spike guy name is dennis carradine
@@casp175a4 in the game it’s not, or maybe it’s a nickname, because the guy who peter interrogates about the killer in the opening level says his name is spike
@@edviza1935 alright then
I can’t be the only one who thinks the oscorp levels and robots were the scariest things in the game as a kid. I dropped it during that and came back older to get pass those levels.😅
7:16 GO WEB GO!
At least he got the fingers right this time. Hehehe.
29:49 The father of all robots.
Spiderman had better quips in the games than in the movies
This is the best spiderman game of all time. Dont care what anyone else says. If you dont think so you're probably 8 years old
Dude the game is okay, but it’s far from the best. It does a good job following the movie especially considering how linear it is without free roam. I played this game a lot back when I was a kid, but Spider-Man 2 and Ultimate Spider-Man do so much more. It’s neat that they got the movie actors for these games though. Unlike those shitty Amazing Spider-Man games where they were too cheap to make the games good, but when your game is based on 2 shitty reboots I guess you can’t really do much.
Ah the nostalgia
As a kid when I heard Shocker say "this wall is coming down" I knew I was in for it lol
24:34 the “great” tobey says actually breaks in his voice hahaha
34:10 I'm glad this game reminds to Rest from Playing
