@@malaquiasalfaro81 you mean better than Superman 64 "kryptonite fog" even though Superman himself is supposedly inside a simulated world and that pathetic excuse doesn't account for the "kryptonite darkness" in the indoor levels. At least with Bethesda titles you can make the argument that it's more about the location that the game is taking place, for example I'm pretty sure you're not playing Skyrim with the intent of having a playable Morrowind map.

Lame story, lame reason to hate Parker, stupid voice (looked like a teenager forcing a deep voice while being a buff monster with a mouth full of teeth) and lame action. The show overall is great tho. My only complaint is about Venom.
@@Joao-ur7ey I dug Venom and Spider-Man being childhood friends. As for his reason for hating Spider-Man, deep rooted resentnwnt forced out by Spider-Man's/Peter's mistakes was pretty interesting. The voice was alright with me. The fight was absolutely not lame. Their fights were sone of the most intense and brutal on the show.
The fact that JJJ calls Peter and tells him to dial 911 instead of just doing it himself makes me believe that he knows Peter is Spider-Man and this was his way of calling for his help.
This was the Arkham asylum before it was Arkham asylum, this game still has more attitude than the new spiderman game on ps4, yeah yeah open world, awesome story, but guess what? This game? Daredevil, captain America, punisher, human torch, black cat a ton of spiderman villains, tons of extras and eater eggs and a badass soundtrack

I won’t say perfectly, as there are few points here and there, like carnage and venom not being stuck in the dark realm. But it’s damn near close and equally as close to my childhood as the show (both were the reason I thought Doc Ock was German 😂😂)
That opening cutscene with Brock/venom is massively underrated. That’s some great tension building there. There are so many good nuggets in this game. Nostalgia aside I remember it as a real immersive experience (for that era). Thanks for the memories
Venom is MVP for this game, he is both hilarious having everything quotable and still threat till his peanut brain realises he is wrong. This is Peak Venom and i prefer that Movie Venom is closer to this one than Edgelord Phase Venom.

Cap would play honestly and knows it just game with friends. Daredevil can tell when people are buffing and would try to play fair but it would get boring. Spider-man would use his Spider sense to cheat and mess with Punisher. Punisher would think it is daredevil. So Frank gets mad flips the table leaves to kill some criminals to cool off.

The year 2000 was such a Gem. I remember my first time beating this game was at my grandma's house back when channel 3 was the "game channel" I turned off the game and Daria was on MTV back when MTV was the [adultswim] of TV. Lol nostalgia
ubergammer00 actually it was cosmo who did it he did it naturally and that’s almost how his real voice sounds he just used an echo optimizer and lowered the tone by 2.5 levels lower in English terms he used a voice soundboard to lower his tone
This is one of the best games ever released on its era. The voice acting, the FMV sequences, the gameplay, the graphics, everything was where it should have been and for the time you could almost think it was a PS2 game! I was not impressed so much then but today I can definitely tell it aged like a great wine!
Despite loving this game as a child, I had the N64 version so I never actually got to see the animated cutscenes. The N64 only had pictures and slideshows. It's so cool to finally see the cutscenes as they were intended.
Here's to all of us N64 kids who had to wade through this game's slideshows (many of them borderline incomprehensible). I think the manual or box tried to pitch them as being "comic book-style," and that actually would have been a decent consolation for the compromises necessary to get this game on 64...if they were actually like that. But there are no word balloons, just captions for dialogue and narration alike, it's just still images from the other versions' cutscenes, no attempt to stylize them like comic art...it was just a mess. I still absolutely loved this game on 64, but it was an extra thrill to finally play it on a friend's Dreamcast.

At the ending of the first cutscene, in the intro. Man, that carnage laugh along with dock ock's, is just terrifying with that music playing. I love carnage so much, his character is truly evil, just chaos and thats it. That voice actor nailed it, amazing appearence of carnage in this game. Hope we get to see him in a future spider man game, or a movie, that would be so fucking awesome

Damn, there were a bunch of side characters in this game. Someone took the time to include as many Marvel characters as he could, so much well-intended dedication went into this. I scouted every inch of the map looking for the comics, never got them all.
This and spiderman ps4 and ultimate Spider-Man have my favorite stories and cutscenes. This one has the most classic spiderman charm tho. Needs more appreciation. One of my favorite games ever.
This game and Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro really need to be put in the PS Store. I still have my PS1 disks and PS2, but I’d love to be able to play both on my PS4.

This was my introduction to video games in my life as a child , they don’t make storylines this fun , straight to the point & like this no more like this sh*t is straight out of a comic book 📚for real 🔥.
Can we just talk about not only how in depth the lore is just for these two games, but the world-building and narrative literally answers any questions you'd have even if you knew next to nothing about the character. Little tid-bits like Mysterio talking about how he's wanted to kill Spidey for "decades", Peter being married, and Jameson's little dialogue with Scorpion about him being stuck in the suit. It doesn't just give us one of the best Spidey adaptions, it's almost the perfect start for anyone unfamiliar with him- especially in an era filled with unparalleled competition for the best adaption.
This game was way ahead of its time, i used to play every time with Need for speed it was my excuse to escape from reality when I was a kid good old days
Spent lot of hours on this game as a kid. 😊 The cutscenes might not seem good quality but the actual gameplay was quite fantastic for that time added with great voice-acting and story.
It feels weird to see full motion cutscenes of these as I grew up playing the N64 version of the game as a kid. One of my favorite games on the system. It may not have the cutscenes, but I loved it was replaced with a comic book theme with text boxes which is fitting for a super hero game. But on this version , you can see more of what goes on. BTW, I'm making a playthrough of the N64 version of this game on my UA-cam channel. Come check it out if anyone wants to.

I remember having so many fond memories playing this as a kid! it was awesome! I wanna replay it someday but it's literally the hardest game ever to find on ebay nowadays.
I only recently learned that Black Cat in this game was voiced by Jennifer Hale, aka Commander Shepard. I already heard her during my childhood, way before playing Mass Effect and I had no idea.

This is one of the best games ever released on its era. The voice acting, the FMV sequences, the gameplay, the graphics, everything was where it should have been and for the time you could almost think it was a PS2 game! I was not impressed so much then but today I can definitely tell it aged like a great wine!
Despite loving this game as a child, I had the N64 version so I never actually got to see the animated cutscenes. The N64 only had pictures and slideshows. It's so cool to finally see the cutscenes as they were intended.

Here's to all of us N64 kids who had to wade through this game's slideshows (many of them borderline incomprehensible). I think the manual or box tried to pitch them as being "comic book-style," and that actually would have been a decent consolation for the compromises necessary to get this game on 64...if they were actually like that. But there are no word balloons, just captions for dialogue and narration alike, it's just still images from the other versions' cutscenes, no attempt to stylize them like comic art...it was just a mess.
I still absolutely loved this game on 64, but it was an extra thrill to finally play it on a friend's Dreamcast.

I love carnage so much, his character is truly evil, just chaos and thats it. That voice actor nailed it, amazing appearence of carnage in this game. Hope we get to see him in a future spider man game, or a movie, that would be so fucking awesome

This was my introduction to video games in my life as a child , they don’t make storylines this fun , straight to the point & like this no more like this sh*t is straight out of a comic book 📚for real 🔥.
Venom is hillarious in this game.
Can we just talk about not only how in depth the lore is just for these two games, but the world-building and narrative literally answers any questions you'd have even if you knew next to nothing about the character. Little tid-bits like Mysterio talking about how he's wanted to kill Spidey for "decades", Peter being married, and Jameson's little dialogue with Scorpion about him being stuck in the suit. It doesn't just give us one of the best Spidey adaptions, it's almost the perfect start for anyone unfamiliar with him- especially in an era filled with unparalleled competition for the best adaption.

It feels weird to see full motion cutscenes of these as I grew up playing the N64 version of the game as a kid. One of my favorite games on the system. It may not have the cutscenes, but I loved it was replaced with a comic book theme with text boxes which is fitting for a super hero game. But on this version , you can see more of what goes on. BTW, I'm making a playthrough of the N64 version of this game on my UA-cam channel. Come check it out if anyone wants to.

Lovely and agreed :-) Can we all Spidy Fans make an online movement for letting all the spider-man games to be re-made by their respective studios that already made them on previous generations? Getting remakes of all the games in 1 or 2 years will be really awesome for all of us to enjoy the nostalgia remade in 4k, 60 fps locked or variable.

I remember having so many fond memories playing this as a kid! it was awesome! I wanna replay it someday but it's literally the hardest game ever to find on ebay nowadays.
