love every match with TheWheelie in it, he's always out to have fun, never gets salty and deploys very creative strategies. If he'd played seriously, he'd probably won this.
@jonasjonaitis8571 RB had the game in the bag for a very long time and was prolonging it to enjoy it. No other reason to sit on 4+ czars when they also have air supremacy they keep in the back to try to keep the element of surprise so they can go for TWELVE czars the moment someone on the other team mounts a plausible offense. He was even asking Wheelie how much eco he had when Wheelie had ~700, while RB had 3.2k. He wanted to know how much to hold back to keep the game prolonged.
this is easily my favorite game in a while
an unexpected support com rush that...actually works to cinematic excitement
and yet, despite being 1 player down, having LESS than half the economy. they counter by....spamming T1 to such a degree that Stalin is impressed

Loved the name, I was shouting 'it's lemartEEs!' at the screen. For the emperor and sanguinius!
I don't think I've ever seen anyone pull off something like what RottenBanana did in this game. Previously the Wheelie had held the title in my mind as the player with the most excessive and gratuitous plays, but the RottenBanana earned this win through sheer excessive style.

A lot of the maps are "20x20" but with black buffers like this because there's no way to set a "12x12" map, which is around where this seems to be.
It's funny to listen to Gyle totally seriously cast a game that went the joke route at minute 20 the latest.

When I heard TheWheelie, I knew it was going to be good.
BUT
This Modern Peter the Great, TheWheelie, saw the battlefield and went FULL 1944 STALIN.
This is 1 of the Best Rounds we've seen in a while in my opinion.
As the Local Area Putin for FAF Supreme Commander, I approve this Round.

Man I wish I was confident enough to actually play another person, but I don't think I'm skilled enough for that.
Find 1 build you like, maximize the heelllll out of your timing and economy to make it a bullet proof strategy, then with enough experience you’ll see where you can afford to change it up or add more troops/upgrades, then after that stage with enough experience you’ll be able to bounce back off of any issue using your own strat. Then break off that 1 and it’ll be easier to do the same for any other strat
@@Clayvaluealright thanks mate! I’ve been just trying to figure out how to be the most efficient possible with resources. I stopped playing before pro players really existed so I was a little behind when I came back after so many years.

Wheelie could have totally used the ashwashers to pick off Ctrl-K when he tele'd top corner then just beelined banana as he was almost un defended at the front of his base. Benefit of hindsight though.

Pretty sure the chariot can handle subcommanders just fine, as they could always handle full sized commanders. They can also transport one T3 unit at a time.
Fun game. Petty though we didn't see more of the final destruction after all that Donuts and GCs built up.

I'm calling the win prediction for team 2 at 46:49 just after Ctrl-K lost his super nuke. I think Rotten Banana is outspamming The Wheelie at the moment. The super bombers have been a thorn in Ctrl-K's side for sure. I could be wrong....... Rotten Banana harassing with Support Com's poetically.
Oh, this is evident from the very beginning, as the winner has excellent gameplay mechanics and how difficult but effective solutions he uses (the distribution of buildings is a masterpiece). The difference in skills is clear. So gameplay was to some extent one-sided, but how interesting.
T1 transports can lift support commanders in vanilla FA.

I love how this devolved into Wheelie and Banana just having a conversation while melting everyone's PCs while Ctrl-K and Lemartes are just trying to be relevant.
2nd time to watch this match and 1 of the best games to watch

Funny enough, the battle in the middle was never actually won.
How do these games not go out of sync with so many units? Whenever I play with AI and I get this many units just on my machine it falls out of sync or crashes even on a very strong machine :(

Is there a reason that no one ever builds up anti air defenses?
Just anti air aircraft and even then often dont keep up? Heck like this one dont build even that at times.
But they had tons of AA...
I unfortunately have to tell you that Seraphim mobile shields were always T3. Really. Before FAF even.
