I wouldn't recommend a KITAS - it comes with tax liability which agents often forget to mention and taxes in Indonesia are on global income and they are up to 35% (quite high!). Regarding the driving license, it is actually illegal to drive without it and it can big fine + 4-6 months in prison. Yes, police it is not everywhere, but I don't think it is worth the risk! Of course, your life is more important, horrible accidents happen constantly (I have lived in Bali for more than 4 years). Also in the airport when you arrive if you notice a plastic tag on your bag - that's how they flag you for inspection.

great video bro! can relate big time to the mental side of things...I've just moved back to Bali for the second time. can you pass on details of the 1-1 trainer for muay thai / boxing?
Nice video - just very worried why people are so close to the hatchling turtles or handling them? I understood this to be very detrimental to their wellbeing.
Bali used to be good, cheaper, quieter, less traffic, more rustic, now that old charm is ruined with tourism, old buildings are pulled down replaced with a modern look. But the pros about tourism is that the quality and standard got better, unless you still enjoy dining under oil lamps eating frogs legs wild caught behind the kitchen. And the old airport looked like an old bus terminal 😂
Great video, very informational😊 . Just wanted to know, what about someone who doesn't know how to ride a scooty. What kind of daily transportation options are available if one stays there for a month
Bro thank you for this beautiful video, one of simplest video and great content. Please I want to know I’m from West Africa Ghana , do I need to contact your business visa agency for two week’s vacation?
Can you apply for the 6 month business visa if you haven't started your business yet but are planning to while you are there? Also, how do you register your business for tax purposes if you have no permanent address. I don't have parents or a friends address that I could use.
If they are asking for an onward flight ticket and I am planning to extend my stay from 30 days to 60 days, can I show a flight based on the 60 days? Otherwise, my flight ticket will be wasted.
How does taxation work for digital nomads in Indonesia? Ie. should you set up a company to Indonesia / just pay taxes to the country you’re origally from etc.
I think there's many options depending on your home country. If possible, in the begging it's easiest to just keep paying to home country if your busines sis set up there :)
If you stay more than 183 days in Indo you are legally a tax resident, so you will pay taxes both in your country and in Indo. But to pay taxes in indo you need to get a tax id, which many people don't so they don't pay. It is not legal but it is a loophole. Also the visa agents don't tell the full truth about paperwork after the visa is done and tax liability, so many people don't research themselves and stay for years paying nothing. Indo does have tax treaties with some countries but it doesn't mean you only pay taxes in one, it only means you will get tax credit from one country to cover a portion of the other country's tax return. Plus, Indo taxes global income. All global income. If you need an advice on that, it is best to talk to a tax advisor in Bali (not visa agent, they are not qualified for this). I used SAS firm for my tax returns for the past 2 years. To file on your own is quite complex if you don't speak Indonesian. But no need to open a company if you're just an individual. Foreign companies in Indo is a hot mess of paperwork and rules. Hope that helps. They have recently introduced a DN visa but it is still unclear what's with taxes on that one.
Thanks for a great video - maybe you or one of your followers can help me out... what vaccines do I need for covid to enter Bali? I did have two in 2020/2021 but I don't have the app anymore of copies of the vaccine certificate
