I heard from several good sources that going out in the evenings in Tblisi is expensive. Like $65 for a meal for two with one drink each. Prove me wrong as it does seem like a city I'd like to live in.
There are different places, as everywhere. Been there ~ 15 times last 5 years. This year had new year holidays with my mates. 3 persons in city center (most touristic place, Meidani Square) enormous quantities of quality food, wine, chacha - all you want to have was ~ 100 EUR for 3 of us. 30 EUR / person. We ate and drank each evening out, never could spend more than this. Surely, if you search very hard - you can find places 65 USD or more for two, but normally it's 10-20 USD / person in city center with some drinks or even cheaper if you look for budget places (there are many).
@@tradeyourselftowealth7149 250 would be hard to find (the prices for accommodation have risen with the war between RUS / UA). I would say something decent in city center for 400/450 month is possible, or 300/350 in suburb ("sleep") areas. Try to find a place near metro, as taxi is cheap but the traffic is usually heavy most days. Look airbnb / booking and do discuss all possible "hidden fees" prior, as not 100% people "play nice". But besides the rent - everything is damn cheap, beautiful and very delicious). If you need any any specific info - feel free to ask (I also done skying there for 4-5 times in Bakuriani, if this could be of any interest for you). Best of luck and wish you to find best place for your adventure ;)

I'm argentinian and Buenos Aires is the last city I would recommend to live in... There are much much better cities in Argentina, in every sense... Cheaper prices, nicer people, beautiful nature, no rush/stress, safer... Literally everything!
Buenos Aires is not cheap city anymore because of inflation. Tbilisi also not so cheap because of many russians emigrants that came there after war started. Cangu, Bali is expensive if you want to live in nice house/apartment without mold and eat good food (unfortunately Indonesian national cousin is bad).
Personally I want towns away from the city away from the EMFs, with clean air and cheap and clean food XD, preferably a mountain view / natural view of some sort. I don't give a F about social life compared to the above.
Our two favourites are Chiang Mai and Bali. But we don't prefer Canggu. I'm already some ages older (maybe double 😅) as the most in the digital nomad community. So it's not important to have that community around us.
@@JooseTheNomad Our base is Kuta since 3 years because we like doing everything by feet. And here we find everything we need at close distance. Actualy we just need a room with airco, stable wifi, good food, and a terrace next to a swimming pool because we like to eat and work outside at our terrace. And that's what we found here. 🙂
I hit $113k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started last month 2024. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject.

@@JooseTheNomad Airbnb and uber are the only things that are cheap. I just got back from there a week ago and the food/drinks are basically european prices, at least 3-4x the cost of food in Vietnam/Thailand.
I just left Buenos after 3 months. I personally liked it, but its not for everyone. Especially if you don't speak Spanish. Cost wise, its not cheap anymore. It was until roughly 1 year ago, then prices went up a looot. Look up what Milei is doing, its literally the biggest monetary experiment in history. Expect prices to go up even more since he wants to dollarize the economy. Good for locals, bad for DNs. Some things cost more than in Europe. Especially imported stuff. Restaurants are expensive, you pay more than 10 USD per meal, anything nicer sets you back +20USD per meal. Food in general is bland, every foreigner i met complained about his, except if you are really into steaks. You will pay 3-5 USD for a coffee in most cafes. What is cheap is accommodation and transport, both uber and subway/bus. If you go out, like to have drinks, dinners, explore the country, expect to pay closer to 2k USD at this point. Even though this is less than in the US or in Europe for "european flair", and even though I like BA, its old world vibe and the people, quality wise, its miles away from a developed country in Europe.
@ yes because of the economic situation there, i have many friends in Argentina and it’s getting worse every month with the inflation. Food in supermarkets is somehow as expensive as in Germany in some places and also on the argentinian side of Patagonia the prices are going crazy. One day pass for hiking went from 5€ to 42€ in Oktober this year and locals started already protesting because how should they afford this. Big black markets for money exchange in the streets of Buenos Aires because everyone wants the Dollar

@@smert_bobram Good info, thanks. Would you happen to have any leads on cheap studio apartments for around 250 euros per month?
Best of luck and wish you to find best place for your adventure ;)
i was born in tbilisi and lived there for 30 years. you can have meal for two with drink for 10-15$ very easily in many places and food tastes better. of course there are higher priced places depends what you looking for, but food is affordable there. also places for a month vary from 200$+ a month . but my go is tropical places atm and heading to thailand & vietnam.
