This is one of 3 songs that I danced with my wife last Christmas night. She is ill .not sure how long she will be with me but making the best of it. Love you baby.
An individual that i once worked with...told me of a vauge idea of his experiences being on the battle field as a medic, and then as a paramedic on the hoepey fields in Arizona i believe it was. He was taking too much from a lonely boss who seemed to have problems facing the lack of control under his own roof, and was power tripping in a way...this co worker stood his ground and i witnessed this as a younger man (24, and 36 now), and the situation got heated and the co worker told our boss he's quitting right then and there! (believe he finished his shift, but quit very shortly after) I asked him why he would just leave and talk as he did, and his response still resinates with me, to this day. (Only paraphrasing) He told me, "i have seen men on their death beds (similar to a scence from saving private Ryan, is the way i imagined what he was saying...as Tom Hank's character, told one of the soilders to stop administrating any more Morphine) and many of their final words are regrets that they had...such as i should have asked a particular girl out, or i should have told my mom i loved her." After saying all of that...he told me that, he will not take anything from people, as it was a way to avoid having unneccesary regrets, that were avoidable. I personally do not know who you are feeling...as only one could imagine every other persons pain that they are individually facing. Hope my experience can help guide both of you and all those around her, to give that angel back to where she came from.
Imagine living in a time where you looked forward to new music from supremely talented musicians- and it delivered or even exceeded your expectations, giving you a musical experience unlike anything you've heard before.

'Angie' is The Rolling Stones simmering ballad - a deeply moving track built on melancholy acoustics, haunting piano lines and most importantly, Mick Jagger's anguished, passionate vocal delivery.
No-one else could have brought this song to life like Sir Mick. A timeless classic. The Rolling Stones - Just perfect, nothing short of legendary. When these AWESOME guys leave this planet, there music will go on forever. They will NEVER ever be forgotten. EVER. We will never forget the immeasurable contributions these legends gave to the music world. Performance's nothing short of ELECTRIFYING, captivating audiences around the world again and again. Thanks guys for the music, unforgettable memories. Just AWESOME.💋 🔥❤🔥

My sister R.I.P and I often used to do our own karoke before it became fashionable. Thinking of you srrings. Music can bring back so many memories whether good or bad
This is my favorite Stones song. Mick sings fom his heart in this song. It brings me back to 1973. I was 10 years old and my cousin was listening to this song in the car. To me....the Rolling Stone's will be the greatest Rock and Roll groups of all time. I love how they all wore makeup in this video. My biggest regret is not seeing them live in concert. Long live the UK 🇬🇧 for creating the best singers in the world.
I love this performance, it's got everything from great suits to roses, hair and makeup done, and the band themselves - totally lit. Each and everyone of them is on fire. The Rolling Stones are the total vibe that we all wish we could be.
My wife Angie, died January 23rd 2015. I hear this song and cry...Funny we didn't care for it that much, when she was alive. But now, hearing it breaks my heart...
Angie, Angie When will those clouds all disappear? Angie, Angie Where will it lead us from here? I was 15 yrs old when this song came out. I thought it was so cool to have a song w my name in it. I love it when I tell people my name and ,to this day, many people will start singing this song.
I was 18 or 19 when this song came out. It was the fall of 1973 and I heard on the radio on commute to classes to a nearby junior college. In my search for original 45 rpm records. I found a pretty clean sounding original pressing of "Angie". The Stones did a number of slower tempo emotional songs. This was my personal favorites.
So sorry. Hurts so much to lose those we love. I'm 71 and have lost both parents, my brother and my beloved daughter plus many dear life long freinds. I hope the Lord takes me soon and brings me to heaven. Nothing left for me here now. God Bless.
Rolling Stones are a very versatile rock band . They are masters of hard as nails rock, blues rock, country rock , soul and gospel rock and folk rock and ballads
Girls... How many beautiful songs and poems have been written, and tears shed, for these soft, warm beings... Nothing in the world comes close to the feeling a guy gets, loving a beautiful girl...
***** been there myself, Anthony. There's nothing that makes it better. Time goes on and you learn how to adjust... I'm still adjusting from the only girl I ever asked to marry me in 1984, turning me down... So I know how you feel brother. And I went the whole drinking and drugs route... And that just made everything worse. In the end it's all about adjusting... and that's about all that can be done, unless someone else has a better way....
This video you realize is faked.... right? Back then thru the first few years of MTV and VH1 it was not uncommon for artists to do a video for a song while they were NOT actually playing it live at the time. Just look at Keith's and Mick Taylor's (right) rhythm hand and what you can 'see' with your eyes that they're doing you don't 'hear' with your ears. And the true giveaway -- Charlie Watts has a smirk, an expression of boredom and general disinterest/dislike of the deal.
Oh Charlie Watts. I love you. The greatest Stone after Brian. Coolest and most intelligent. He always made a statement by saying nothing. His drumming style said everything. And his always calm and cool demeanor. Never one for the spot-light. Just a love for his music. Thank you Charlie.

You can't say we're satisfied
Angie, Angie
You can't say we never tried
Angie, you're beautiful
But ain't it time we say goodbye
Angie, I still love you
Remember all those nights we cried
All the dreams were held so close
Seemed to all go up in smoke
Let me whisper in your ear
Angie, Angie
Where will it lead us from here
Oh, Angie, don't you wish
Oh your kisses still taste sweet
I hate that sadness in your eyes
But Angie
Angie
Ain't it time we said goodbye
With no lovin' in our souls
And no money in our coats
You can't say we're satisfied
Angie, I still love you baby
Everywhere I look I see your eyes
There ain't a woman that comes close to you
Come on baby dry your eyes
Angie, Angie ain't good to be alive
Angie, Angie, we can't say we never tried
Thanks.....for that.
I always thought it was "Angie dont you weep..."

And give Neil a shout out, too.
Beautiful
'Angie' is The Rolling Stones simmering ballad - a deeply moving track built on melancholy acoustics, haunting piano lines and most importantly, Mick Jagger's anguished, passionate vocal delivery.
Keith wrote some excellent tunes in his days. Much respect for everything this being accomplished. Thanks for all the great music, Stones
Just AWESOME.💋

I WANT TO DEDICATE THIS SONG TO MY BROTHER TIM WHO TOOK HIS LIFE 7/4/2013. THIS WAS HIS FAVORITE SONG FROM THE ROLLING STONES. I MISS YOU TIM ACTON. R.I.P.
lost my little brother to the sea this was his fav song also :)
sorry to hear that Rhonda, R.I.P. Tim
thinking of you srrings, lost a sister too and we used to sing this as we had a younger sister called angie
yes thank you julia gribble could not imagine losing my sis....and yes music brings back the memories of our lives on this world... Angie just happened to be his girl friend.... so sad.... when u lose some one at sea its like they just never come home....2yrs now
it is something you never get over and to lose them at sea is so awful. My dad, grandma, boyfriend, husband, sister and sister in law all died from cancer and apart from my grandma have lived longer than them all. My sister R.I.P and I often used to do our own karoke before it became fashionable. Thinking of you srrings. Music can bring back so many memories whether good or bad
I'm an old man now, but in my lifetime I've seen hundreds of bands and hundreds of shows. My top 5 concerts were the 5 times I saw the Stones.
talking about that earlier at a group bbq. Mine was Eagles at Earls Court and Wembley and of course Queen. The ultimate show band of the time.
@@reic0002mine was feeder opening for candle box but I always wanted to see a list but I'm 44 so I miss Oasis
Best consert I've never seen was Jimi Hendrix😎
Leonard Cohen…three times.
So you never saw Neil Young?
This is my favorite Stones song. Mick sings fom his heart in this song. It brings me back to 1973. I was 10 years old and my cousin was listening to this song in the car. To me....the Rolling Stone's will be the greatest Rock and Roll groups of all time. I love how they all wore makeup in this video. My biggest regret is not seeing them live in concert. Long live the UK 🇬🇧 for creating the best singers in the world.
Thank you, genuinely, for giving us a callout for one, no one ever does! 🇬🇧
Beautiful song and IMHO
Much underappreciated
Everywhere I look, I see your eyes. One of the greatest lines ever written.

I agree, this is one of the best , but my favorite is : "living is easy with your eyes closed"
Brother died in 1973 in accident and 8th grade.
He played song over and over for months and night before he died.

One of the greatest rock songs of all time. Richards is a genius.
One of the most underrated guitarists ever
@@tdioxin2658 holy shit what😂
it's not even a rock song. The Stones in the 70s were heavily influenced by black music, rock and roll - blues - R & B and pop.
The greatest Rock/Soul bands of all time.
It's not a rock song, it's a melody, blues ballad type of song, but that's what made the Stones great, their versatility.
Such a compelling voice he has
Arguably the most beautiful song Mick has ever sung. 😊
Exactly....it's relatable to almost everything
I think it would be a toss up with Wild Horses.
His live vocals in this video is incredible!
Let it Loose comes to mind. This one a close second though.
Arguably....it is connection, Andy! sad Charlie!
R.I.P. Charlie! We will missing you. Thank you for be an Rolling Stone and my alltime favorite drummer!

Happy 80 th b' day Mick ! Keep on rockin - Greatest rock n roll band of all time! End of story ! 7/26/43 😅😅🥃🚬👍
Heartbreaking Beautiful
I love this performance, it's got everything from great suits to roses, hair and makeup done, and the band themselves - totally lit. Each and everyone of them is on fire. The Rolling Stones are the total vibe that we all wish we could be.
Me encantó tu respuesta , es así .👌
Would have liked to see the Piano player Ian Stewart since the Piano is the main instrument other than Mick's vocals
@The Burbles she was backstage covered in them just singing along ;)
Usually shirtless and sweating
slow rock but deep .
I'm so happy that my father introduced this song when I was young. What a beautiful song.
Not one of their most definitive songs but Jagger sings with heartfelt emotion. One of my favourites from the Stones.
Did you listen to "Primitive Cool? The 2nd. Soloist album by Jagger... Angie reminds me a couple of songs from it...
❤😊

Absolutely love this song. ❤It brings me to tears. “Angie” will be my future daughter’s nickname.
My all time favorite Rolling Stones song.
My wife Angie, died January 23rd 2015. I hear this song and cry...Funny we didn't care for it that much, when she was alive. But now, hearing it breaks my heart...

Ahora cobra sentido para mi la letra de esta canción con los signos de interrogación que utilizas y que en otras traducciones los ignoran
I was 15 yrs old when this song came out. I thought it was so cool to have a song w my name in it. I love it when I tell people my name and ,to this day, many people will start singing this song.
You're very lucky, it's such a beautiful song!
Hey, I made and animated video of Angie using A.I. Wanna check it out? ua-cam.com/video/FcUjGP3498E/v-deo.html
I love that❤
I was 18 or 19 when this song came out. It was the fall of 1973 and I heard on the radio on commute to classes to a nearby junior college. In my search for original 45 rpm records. I found a pretty clean sounding original pressing of "Angie". The Stones did a number of slower tempo emotional songs. This was my personal favorites.
O rock sempre fez parte da minha vida.Amo!!!!❤
I ❤ the Stones AND THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY FAVORITE SONG THEY NEVER DISAPPOINT ❤
I am 55, this band has always comforted my soul through the darkest of days for that I thank you! Godspeed Charlie. 💔😢💔
His song never gets old.. always remember me of the past.. what’s your favorite song?
Great ❤ I dedicate this beautiful song to my best friend Angie, she died in May 2024 .. miss you ..

Don't forget their stab at disco! They--and Queen--did it best! :)

Girls... How many beautiful songs and poems have been written, and tears shed, for these soft, warm beings... Nothing in the world comes close to the feeling a guy gets, loving a beautiful girl...
I loved a beautiful women once.
Jerry Kennedy he was spot on....
***** this song hits you where you live sometimes....
Paul Bourgeois
It has hit me. She dumped me.
I love the Stones! They have always struck a chord in my heart that no other band can hit.
That wonderful cymbal tap.
Very sweet and intense and unexpected ballad from a rage and electric band as The Stones have been. A true masterpiece
Amazing acoustic guitars and piano combination. These guitars licks are unforgettable.
The Taylor years were absolutely magical. Some of the deepest sounding rock songs of all time.
Absolutely agree.
Their best
I heard Keith got rid of him
Keith couldn't hold his jockstap
Está melodía es un arte, aún me sigue poniendo los pelos de punta después de 52 años.
Simplemente maravilla!!!!
Always thought Watts' drumming on this one was the icing on the masterpiece. Thank you for your contributions to the world, sir.
RIP Charlie :(
