Education is always the key, and hopefully the Russians can somehow adapt themselves to adopt more open-minded principles in the spirit of respect and dignity.

His house in Pacific Palisades was bought by German government recently and made into a cultural center. Perhaps someday Shishkin will have his own cultural center in Switzerland. Russians today who reside in Russia, fully back their government by a supermajority, because they love their country, rightly or wrongly. There was a social right, and Russian society protected poor individuals by sharing as much wealth as possible with society. It was not individual light like the West. Russia was a country where individualism and collectivism coexisted and was like a symphony. The West only thought of individual rights among human rights, but Russia thought of social rights, that is, the rights of individuals connected to the community. In this way, Russia is different from Western culture. So how can we judge Russia according to Western values? Russia did not have European-style absoluteness. It adopted Greek culture, not Roman culture... Russia has no absolute monarchy. Western European monarchies really destroyed village democracy, for example, destroyed the guild system, and raised bourgeois individuals to fill their finances. On the other hand, Russian monarchs grew up protecting villages. Russian monarchs were very afraid of the people because of this village community, the Veche, because there was a village community. People loved their monarch, but they couldn't stand oppression, and since the village community would come together as soon as there was oppression, Russian monarchs traditionally tended to kneel before the people. It's different from England. In England, when the people rise up, they kill everyone. It's not like that in Russia. When the people rise up, the Russian monarch goes and asks them why they did it. So he catches the ringleaders and puts them to work. There aren't many cases of killing.
As a Norwegian, I am skeptical to what NATO did leading up to the war. I am also skeptical to the Ultra Nationalists running Ukraine. But above all, I am skeptical to Mr Putin & the Russian state. To me, living in a liberal democracy, Russia is the definition of a Fascist state. Only surpassed by North Korea & China.
Democracy is just an illusion. People who control Hollywood and control the media machine/social media will dictate what ideas are popular and what ideas are not. Something the kremlin saw as betrayal by Yanukovitch and as per same behaviour for the last 3 decades in UA (a FOREIGN nation to them) meddled by escalating to violence and throwing Yanukovitch under the bus.
