There are 8 screws (or is it 9 screws), and once all the screw is removed, you should be able to open the back cover by carefully prying the latches away. Inside is kinda bare. The thing that confuses me about this laptop is it's Plastic & cloth vs Lenovo's usual metal in the Yoga line- that's not me complaining about that "premium feel" people go nuts for, it's just odd that AMD is the one that gets this chassis. The actual complaint I hear about this is the brightness of the monitor being limited to 300nits- because it's advertised at that but it's actually a bit lower.
I recently purchased this laptop for my niece who is adventuring into art. It arrives at her house tomorrow! What emulators were you using? She likes to game but cannot afford any systems. Did you use an XBox controller while playing the emulators? Thank you for making this video!

I don't really notice it doing media consumption, it's mostly just the mouse cursor trailing or when moving a window around that the trailing shows.
The only thing I wish it had was the PgUpPgDn buttons that their thinkpad line had and it would be close to perfect. And maybe 16x10 ratio since that's basically necessary for productivity now.
I just bought this but the maxed out version with Ryzen 7 7000 series graphics and it's ok not bad
"Hey I bought you a laptop but I need to... er.. check it ...works properly first"
"OK sure just make sure it turns out then I'll use it."
"Sure...."
*10 hours later*
"And like always... thaaaaanks for wa-"
"I thought you were just testing it out? and who the hell is this ETA Prime anyway?"
Love the fabric top and color scheme. Unfortunately they put a soft touch coating on the palm rest which will degrade like every other soft touch coating out there and become sticky. Complete deal breaker for me.
There are 2 variants of dis Yoga 6 :
- Yoga 6 with faux leather 13 inch,
- Yoga 6 non faux leather, with AMD Ryzen5 5500 14 inch, (buy dis one, it's more worth than de first one)
I just got my mom 15in hp amd 5500u!
You were playing very good Horizon 5.
Galaxy S8 Tab Ultra and Galaxy Book 2 and Galaxy Book 2 (360) in January-February
did you do anything special to get the emulators running so smoothly--particularly the wii u emu? i too have a copy of botw on this very machine, and it barely broke 12fps
I think it's quite a good deal on a laptop better than that yoga 3 14 I got in 2015 I guess
ETA Prime be like "She didn't want a gaming laptop... So anyways I boot up Cyberpunk!"
OMG YOU HAVE HE EXACT SAME ONE I DO i have that jean cover and i really like it. Yu got literally the same one i have except a 5500u instead of 4650u.
cool review. I hope you put the clock speed back down for your wife other wise she's gonna think the battery sux :p he loads a youtube video in a youtube video in a youtube video.... entire internet crashes
Going from a 17 inch screen to a 13 inch is going to be quite the adjustment.
Although the specs on this laptop make it a beast, I felt the build quality on the IdeaPad and Yoga series are bit lower than what HP and Dell have to offer.
You should note that the 5500U is just a renamed 4500U...5600U and 5800U are actually 5000 series CPUs but 5500U and 5700U are just renamed 4000 series...
What about iGpu ?
Think might be sold on this been looking for gaming laptop
My yoga with 4700u got 1123 / 6315 (vs yours 1093 / 5214) in Geekbench 5, but it has 16GB 4266Ghz LPDDR4X memory.
You should've tested Linux on it for us Linux users. I'm looking into this machine, but don't know how well it works with Linux.
Do a battery life section for each device, badly needed. Thanks.
I got the Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga Titanium. It's an i5 with Xe graphics. It actually is a nice little laptop. I got it when my ipad pro died as I wanted to just use my windows apps. I would of wished to get an AMD APU in it. lol.
Time Spy is a much better known score we can compare with, IMO
Do it Lenovo!!!💻❤🙏✊
Thinking of purchasing the 2023 model of the Yoga 6 with the Ryzen 7 7730U and 16GB RAM, do you think it’s a good purchase for $899?
How's Lenovo Ideapad Slim 5i Core i5 11th Gen - 16 GB/512 GB SSD? I'm considering purchasing it.
ETA. You can sell a lemon 🍋 and I buy it
@ETA PRIME question, with a budget laptop like that do you think that Destiny 2 would run on it. Could you do a play test of that game?
When it comes to the emulators, can you test Yuzu emulator for the next time. It is worth it for the benchmarks due to its early stage and improving. Yuzu certainly needs a lot of RAM and good GPU. It certainly does a heavy load for my old GTX 750ti. Can only run it nicely with GTX 1650 on my HP Pavilion Gaming laptop.
Just got it for christmas🤣🤣
AntiXLinux will run perfectly in that laptop.
Froza looking like a Telltale game lol
How much did you snag this for?
Realizing how prices fluctuate so much. Its running $750 at my best buy currently
I went with the LOQ. Besides battery life it smokes this laptop for less money. 2x 2280 m.2 slots, 2x ddr5 ram slots and 1x 2042 slot. Bigger screen, 4050/4060 gpu. Also no power button design flaw.
Dalsim would be proud
Would personally like to know how you got these games on the PC
Hi! I have a question about the battery performance. How long does it last? if I do word processing and net browsing. And is 8gb ram too bad for windows 11? Thanks!
Looks great was looking for new Ryzen laptop for gaming, personal and work. I m looking for Ryzen that supports pen and had 1080p webcam. Any ideas?
Honestly for the price of Ram anymore, I refuse to buy any new laptop if it doesn't have 16gb dual channel Ram. I don't even have a issue with it being soldered or not. But the refusal from these big companies of not providing it over budget concerns is a straw argument I feel, especially when Ryzen chips have become so popular at these price points and it's know they handle better with better ram in dual channel.
Would you recommend the ryzen 5700u?
Bhai 🤓
Budget around 55-60k💸💸

Hey! I am planning to buy this one with the Ryzen 7 5700U CPU 16GB RAM, I will mostly use it for productivity for media consumption and some photoshopping. Ocassionally though I am gonna play Minecraft, CSGO and GTA 5 on it, will it be okay or shall I look for something like a Legion 5 (gaming laptop) or so?
You were looking a bit short of arrows in Skyrim
Trying to buy a good laptop today at either walmart or best buy with 1080p please. Highest ill go is 400.
The person who was responsible for placing the power button should be punished with no mercy!
Hope there is no reviewer in my country review this, at least until I hv money to buy it, bcoz the price now is lower than flex 5
You had me until soldered in ram. This laptop is high-end enough to have dimm slots.
It's $500 on sale and under $1000 normally. What 2 in 1 13 inch laptop has upgradeable ram in that price range? This is a Surface Pro competitor.
If you got this as a Christmas gift for your wife, then if you record these videos at home, I imagine she wasn't at home when you recorded the video?
270 on ebay got me sold bruh ong
great laptop , can u run rpcs3 with it ?
Office Depot has an HP laptop that has a ryzen 7 5700u and 16gb of ram for $599 please review it
Hi, I don’t know much about computers, but would getting 16 gigs of ram help with gaming?
🔥 🔥 🔥 ✨
You absolutely don’t need 60FPS in Forza!! And at 13" you also don’t need 1080p 👀👀
