Funny, the lower notes on mine sound so nice but those really high ones sound terrible.... really harsh an airy. That high C and A also sound practically the same- which is bad. lol

I might be mistaken, but is there a third "c" missed in the "Snail Snail" at 5:31 ?
Thank you for your comment! sorry that the notation is confusing.
The rhythm of the notation should reflect the rhythm of the following words -
"Snail snail, go a-round and round and round"
at 5:31 the notation should be
quarter quarter eighth eighth quarter
eighth eighth eighth eighth eighth eighth eighth eighth
Instead of what shows on screen. I put the notation on the screen as the simplified version versus what I played.

I found out about this 2 days ago. This might sound strange but a had a dream of a strange flute that made beautiful music. So I look up different types of strange flutes and seen a woman playing on youtube. And I thought , this had to be it. So I had a friend send for me a 6 hole for beginners. And I seen you. So this is a start. But I am a slow learner and a short memory. Would you happen to have or make learning dvds? Lol And I am serious. :)

Is my ocarina not well made? All the holes are the same size, and i noticed that the one showed in this video has 2 extra holes on the front part, mine doesnt, is it not good enough? Cause it sounds much higher than this one
You might have a peruvian 8 hole ocarina. Or a peruvian 6 hole ocarina. If the holes are the same size it's not easy to play in tune, it may be impossible. You can buy an ocarina tuned in C from STL Ocarina or from Songbird ocarina.
