How to Play Ocarina - 6 Hole Lesson 1

With the help of this video, you can learn to play the 6 hole ocarina AND learn to read music as well. This is Z Ocarina 6 Hole Lesson 1 from the Z Ocarina 6 Hole Instruction Book written and created by Lavonna Zeller-Williams-Bratschi and zellerwear.com. The instruction book and Z Ocarina curriculum method uses colored fingering chart icons to help the brain learn music faster. It is designed to specifically help children to learn to play the ocarina instrument quickly and efficiently. The curriculum can be used in a classroom setting or by the individual student alone or in a group.

How far do you place the ocarina in your mouth? Do you just hole the word (two) for a prolonged note?

the ocarina shouldnt go very far into your mouth, it’s really only your lips on it, just enough to stop air escaping!
