*Sort of Fun Fact*: I was putting together my Operation Rainfall trilogy since I already had Xenoblade and The Last Story, and I found a CIB copy of Pandora's Tower on eBay for $24. Because I wasn't living in the US at the time and they wouldn't send it to my country, and I knew I would be visiting Drew soon, I had it sent to his place, where it sat for a couple of months. Before I ordered my game, however, Drew found a copy of Hoppie for Nintendo DS, a game so obscure that it's not even listed on the Wikipedia list of DS Games, on Mexican Amazon. So he sent that to me and then, once we met up, we made a trade of these apparently rare games for each other.
Can't lie, this is one of the best Minus World stories I've now had knowledge of yet. I'd love to one days make friends like that who'd do the same as I could for them.

$175 for Dokapon Kingdom is considered a steal - I've seen just the disk with no case sell for that much. Complete copies are going for upwards of $350.
I was able to find a sealed copy of cyberbike for little to nothing at a local store in my country. They had it on sale because it was considered as old stock.

I really think Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn deserves an honorable mention. While it didn’t come as late as Pandora’s Tower, it still sold awfully at only about 300k copies are regularly goes for 70 to 100 USD secondhand. The Canadian print goes for a bit cheaper but that one has no manual.
I remember going to a friends house to play Dokapon Kingdom, and wanting to pick it up for myself. Somehow found it at my local GameStop for $20, when it wasn’t at any others within 100 miles of my home. Still can’t believe I found it.
My copy of Pandora's Tower was $40 CAD and I always see it for that. In contrast, I still don't have a copy of The Last Story and every time I do come across a copy, it's $80 CAD. At least in Canada, I'd say The Last Story is far rarer.

You can blame Atlus and The Runaway Guys for Dokapon's price increase. After they played it, a lot of people went out and picked it up (including me, got it for 20 bucks). But its a LOT of fun!
When Wii got discontinued I hunted down every game that was thought to be rare for the console, I got all five of the games on this list. There are a bunch of shovelware on the system that are hard to find, like the Mr. Bean game or My Horse and Me Riding for Gold. Kind of surprised Fire Emblem wasn't mentioned.
Dokapon kingdom is really fun. I haven't played the story mode yet but I didn't even realize I put 5 hours straight on free play vs a single npc. I was honestly really impressed. I can only imagine how fun it would be with a few friends. I've yet to try the other two but lost story is looking really good too. I swear some of these games are 10x better than the recent releases for the triple A genre on ps4 and xbox one. I don't own the new ps5 or xbox so I can't really say much for their games. I'll wait another year and wait till more he's get released. Can't wait for next year's black friday.

Fire Emblem and Xenoblade especially have spent periods being over $100, though probably thanks to the 3DS and Switch versions (with ever available digital copies) that probably brought the price down a good bit for Xenoblade. I bought cyber cicle second hand for 9€... I enjoyed a lot. The bycicle was quite weak but playing gamecube racing games was great! It had two modes. The game and the gamecube mode. I unfortunately tried to connect the bycicle to my pc because cable seemed usb compatible but I think I fried things inside. 😑

Charlotte Sanders (Elena’s VA) needs to voice more characters! She gave an amazing performance that made Elena feel like a real person.
Pandora’s Tower is actually also on the Wii U Eshop so if you don’t care about having a physical copy that’s the way to go.
