I let my mom watch your lores and she loves them all, she is 65 y/o and now she is into warcraft lore and started to play classic wow. Thanks for your video , now my mom have a new hobby
This are will always feel like a childhood home. No matter how long I'm gone or how long it's been since I've even downloaded WoW, seeing images of Tirisfal Glades feels so nostalgic. It's like I'm watching someone give a tour of my hometown.
Oh man, what a treat! Far and away my absolute favorite zone in the game. I can't begin to imagine how many level 10 Undead toons I've left abandoned in the Brill inn. Well done.
Out of all of the Seven Human Kingdoms, both Lorderaron, Kul Tiras and Gilneas are my favorite. I remember exploring the fields and forests of Lorderaron in Warcraft 3 back when I was 14 as I went to Video Game Design camp. Gilneas has a good Victorian feel to it with its architecture, tone and storyline. As for Kul Tiras, it reminds me of Rhode Island, mainly New Port since it's a seafaring kingdom with a sailor motif. Plus the kingdom has a few good coastal forests just like Rhode Island does.
At this point I feel like I'm beating a dead horse, but I'm once again here to say that this series is among the best wow content I've consumed in 20 years of Azeroth.
The nostalgia hits hard. This is my favorite zone in the whole game, I've loved the gloomy atmosphere, music and lore of Tirisfal since I'v started playing for Ho so manny years ago :) Awesome vid m8 🤘
My BF just started playing wow (classic) for the first time ever and he started a "zombie mage" so this zone is his first experience. It's been so much fun hearing his stories lol
The production value on these is excellent. I really appreciate this series and I look forward to seeing as much of Azeroth (and the other realms) as you can portray to us.
I'd like to see a Caverns of Time showing pre plague Tirisfal and Lorderon, possibly the fall of the capital. You can start as a human clone of your character in Brill and fall back to the capital.
Going through all this old content brings back so many memories from my own journey that's soon to be 2 decades old. Brilliant exposition, great voice and awesome production! Keep up the great work Loremaster!
You do an amazing job with these lore videos. As somebody who played vanilla through MoP it’s like a trip down memory lane. I find myself say “oh yeah, I remember that” often. Thanks for the nostalgia!
My journey began in Elwynn Forest, but I can only imagine how different and otherworldly starting in Tirisfal must have been! Gruesome and rad at the same time!
brill was the RP city on my realm. (RPPVP) i remember being lvl 36 or so, running to SM on my lock. i come across a small group just out side of UC. i decide to follow, leadig to ring of players huddled around a female charecter. they are role playing a pregnancy. in fades a lvl 1 orc, having just logged on. emoting 'mamma'. it was at this point i had to meet my group to slay the library. this is what i remember most about tirisfal glades.
Loremaster! Re-living the fascinating depth of lore that enthralled us to play WoW or seeing the lore for the first time, these videos are awesome! Respect to the work you put in to make these!
Agreed. I`ve been thinking about that lately as i picked upp Wow-classic again... Like: Omg! is it almoest 20 years ago already!! (and I was already an adult of 32 when the game came out.. having played WC and WC2 before that.. Time/Life flyes..)
I remember rolling an undead alt specifically just to see what this zone was like and then rushing to see Sylvanas. Then I remember being super surprised when I saw Varimathras there, too! Amazing video as always!
As someone whos never played WoW (and never intends to) you and PlatinumWoW are my go-to lore dealers, much appreciated 😂 The documentary style to these videos is great. Hope we get another video on a species/race like the murloc video some time!
1yr old comment, but still applies: You should at least play Classic a little, if not because of the fee not being worth it for you, then a private server and roll an undead. It's one thing to hear this great narration (credit where it's due), another to be the hero, or anti-hero. These initial zones may be poignant, but the advanced Forsaken outposts to the south are exciting to experience, these are the places where the unfogiving living supremacists and bitter undead come to a climatic clash. I did my part. :-)
Just discovered this channel yesterday and binged all the lore videos. It’s hard to find a really good and informative lore video series with a great narrator voice. Love to see one for Durotar.
This zone is the reason I got hooked into playing wow. Played an undead warrior and from then on if I want to hang out and chill I’ll make my way over to here and remember how far my wow story started
My first character was a Forsaken rogue on Emerald Dream. Although I've done several forsaken, I still remember the chills during that first intro cinematic.
Instant subscribe! thank you for this, amazing video. I remember my first forsaken character all those years ago, how this zone captivated me… heh, still does.
Stumbled upon this channel yesterday and the timing of this video couldn’t be any better as I’m reading the Arthas book right now and can see some of the places mentioned in the book
Regrettably, my response took as long as a journey through the lands of Tirisfal Glades. Your praise is deeply appreciated-every aspect is crafted with passion and care.
Another great video, that I am yet again commenting on! Captures the atmosphere of the zone perfectly, with a few work and life 'to do's in the way of me playing anything right now, this is a nice treat.
Me, and my first character, an undead warlock, thank you for this video. I especially liked the focus on the history of the region, that is often overlooked. The length of the video was wonderful, I really enjoyed this one. Hoping for some non-starter zones in the future like Un'Goro Crater or Ashenvale.
Glad you enjoyed it! Trying to convey the overlooked topics like the history (especially for this particular zone) is a special challenge and it's working! Thanks for the comment, other zones will definitely get their own Lore overview in all due time :)
My god man, these are incredible. Fuck whatever Blizzard makes for the opening cinematics for each race. These need to be in their place. If they wanted to really draw people in, imagine there’s a 20 minute BEAUTIFUL montage of all the things you’re about to do, completely immersing you into the story, in a way that you know the lore, but now you get to play it out in your own personal way. I fucking love it. This is what an RPG should be. They would be absolute FOOLS if they didn’t scoop you up, give you a refreshed rundown of what the new starting area storyline is and whatever lore tidbits they wanted to add, and let you go nuts! All their hi-res models, beautifully shot with this goddamn narration? I would pay 15 dollars a month just to keep watching these and playing through every starting zone as slowly as goddamn possible.
Well done Loremaster, glad you bless us with those fabulous stories! Inspired by now, a rhyme for your audience, hope you´ll allow "Undercity, the Forsaken' new space, Dark and spooky, a grim and haunting place... 🎃"
I've noticed a few other channels doing zone lore videos being recommended to me lately and though they are tempting to watch, I'd rather wait for this channel to get to those zones. I just really enjoy this channels production quality and narrative style
when i watched your first lore video. i really hoped you would pivot towards this type of content. and im really happy to say youve made this your brand!
Sometimes warcraft feels like a good friend from a long time ago who you made alot of memories with but then you grew up and they moved away and you never saw them again.
He is literally copy pasting the content of the cronicles book into an AIVoice generator and putting random clips from wow. Wouldnt call that well done exactly. It’s just lazy and easy views.
This man has literally done archeological research on tirisfal glades a ds has not yet been recognized by youtube. Please subscribe
The only “negative” thing about these videos is that I keep wanting to make new alts to relive different areas :D absolutely great content.
Great to hear!
you have 60 character slots so get to alting
THIS exactly! Was watching this video in bed and am updating Battlenet as I am typing this 😂
Negative is the use of AI instead of a real narrator and not declaring it as such.
Nah the absolute WORST part is that theres only 11 videos to watch :c
Day got 10 times better seeing this gem uploaded
The David Attenborough of Azeroth. Amazing videos mate
I let my mom watch your lores and she loves them all, she is 65 y/o and now she is into warcraft lore and started to play classic wow. Thanks for your video , now my mom have a new hobby
It's truly heartwarming to read your comment! Thank you deeply for sharing your story and say hi to your mom for me!
That is awesome.
Glad to see this channel growing so rapidly! Love this series.
Glad to hear it!
This are will always feel like a childhood home. No matter how long I'm gone or how long it's been since I've even downloaded WoW, seeing images of Tirisfal Glades feels so nostalgic. It's like I'm watching someone give a tour of my hometown.
Hey, great to hear! The nostalgia is palpable with many of us!
Oh man, what a treat! Far and away my absolute favorite zone in the game. I can't begin to imagine how many level 10 Undead toons I've left abandoned in the Brill inn. Well done.
You and me both!
Out of all of the Seven Human Kingdoms, both Lorderaron, Kul Tiras and Gilneas are my favorite. Great to hear your story! Enjoy!

I can imagine! Especially if you've known this world for so many years already :)
The production value on these is excellent. I really appreciate this series and I look forward to seeing as much of Azeroth (and the other realms) as you can portray to us.
Much appreciated!
yes my wish has been granted, tirisfal glades lore hihi
Hope you enjoy it!

Since vanilla i have called this place my home. Somehow it always feels good to come back to these plague infested lands.
For the Forsaken!
Going through all this old content brings back so many memories from my own journey that's soon to be 2 decades old. Brilliant exposition, great voice and awesome production! Keep up the great work Loremaster!
Glad you enjoyed it
keep doing it bro is actually amazing
Wonderful, thanks for the support!
I can't wait for this channel to have a gigantic Playlist of lore I can go to bed to. ❤❤
You and me both!
@@TheChroniclesofAzeroth I'll 3rd that notion
This channel is on an absolute role. I seriously don’t think there has ever been a better lore channel. Keep it up!
Other than Bellular, you're correct.
Wow, thank you!
Would prefer if you had an actual human narrating this, but I take it.
You do an amazing job with these lore videos. As somebody who played vanilla through MoP it’s like a trip down memory lane. I find myself say “oh yeah, I remember that” often. Thanks for the nostalgia!
Wow, thank you! Glad you enjoy it!
“Oh I member”
this zone is what got me hooked on wow
My journey began in Elwynn Forest, but I can only imagine how different and otherworldly starting in Tirisfal must have been! Gruesome and rad at the same time!
Your voice has such a beautiful timbre, thank you so much for doing this.
Hate to break it to you but it’s an AI generated voice. Still really nice though
@@paultiplea NO WAY.
@@NiceMan-mi5po yep, I know the exact voice model that’s being used here. Still really well produced videos and great content
It's indeed a custom made generated voice, because I'm not really comfortable with narrating the videos myself :)
@@TheChroniclesofAzeroth But you write the words? Either way my thanks.
Like before I even watch. I know 100% it's going to be good.
Thanks so much!

YES! I requested this last week, you said it was coming this week, and here it is. Awesome stuff!!
Hope you like it!
The fact blizzard came out with this game 20 years ago and zones to this day hold such adventure and nostalgia blow my mind !
Agreed.

Just made an undead and actually read all the quest text, one of the best zones and story in the game imo
Absolutely!

Thank you, Loremaster. Thank you for showing us the beauty of Azeroth and for telling her tale in such an immersing way! ⚔️

I never knew why it was called Undercity. This video explained. Amongst many other things.
Happy to hear that! There’s always something new to uncover in Azeroth’s. It’s what makes exploring its corners so rewarding!
