- Welcome to the 3rd episode in our Commodore Series!
In the last episode we went away from a T56 Manual and installed a Turbo 400 (TH400) with a 3500rpm Stall converter.
We do some runs and during filming we run into some issues..

when upgrading to the th400 is there any way to get the speedo working on the dash like its supposed to??
Absolutely there is, you need an electronic speedo pickup for the th400 and then you need to calibrate the computer to match the new pickup to the factory speedo
This is easiest to do on a dyno 🙂
@@PeelOutGarage ohh right thats good to know , i might do the th400 swap on my vy clubsport one day
I wanna do this to mine cause my 4L60e Shat itself
What gear ratio you boys got ?
Not you too with Commodore fucking problems. 😂👌🏼
Always problems when you have a commodore 😂
What did the th400 conversion cost you as have just decided to do the same with my vt ss.
Cheers boys
Ball Park 5k can do it for less if you buy parts used also if you aren't looking to make big power later I would say go a th350 instead they have less drive line loss any questions shoot us a message on Facebook! 🙂
@@PeelOutGarage cheers for the reply.
What’s this app? And is it accurate
Hey mate, the App is called “Speedometer”
It’s hard to say how accurate it is, it’s GPS so it would be reasonably accurate, I would say a second either way
@@PeelOutGaragethe 1/8th mile isn’t accurate. It wouldn’t do a 5 second 1/8th mile and then a 12 second 1/4 mile. A 5 in the eighth would be in the 9’s on the quarter.
