Hey Bobby been watching your videos I dug n moved my biggest n oldest plant I had it weighed a touch over 5 ounces I've never dug 1 that big it was atleast 20 + years ago I tossed those seeds there keep up the good work love the videos

What state was this filmed in..I just got into sang hunting and went a couple weeks ago with an older friend of mine and he taught me about black cohosh (pointers) and there are several ditches like that and ferns everywhere...I'm on the Cumberland plateau middle north TN

Frank sorry that I have been behind on replying, but all north facing slopes are better for the reproduction of the ginseng and there for favored. However it can grow in any area where the shade and sun amount is correct. In any area that can produce enough moisture. You want find much in areas that are realy dry. Always look to the North facing areas or adjoining areas of the north slopes for the very best results 90 o.o of the time.
I’m from Leslie County I would love to come dig ginseng with y’all I don’t live in Leslie County anymore and haven’t for many years but I always visit!
