hearing the story about his friend in the passenger seat who got paralyzed... that scares me man
Doing a stunt like BASE jumping off a motorcycle into a canyon with 25 skydives is like going up against Mike Tyson with 3 weeks boxing experience. Serious error of judgement on both hers and his parts.
The guy made a horrible mistake in his life and y'all all the sudden hate him for it. Do u know how many of us have driven a car way too fast with someone else in it, but we just got lucky and didn't kill or paralyze anyone, yet. It was horrible but a mistake anyone could be dumb and make, especially in your early 20s. And no, he doesn't put others at risk now, they choose to put themselves at risk with him. He doesn't push someone into things. I guess none of y'all have or or will ever make any mistakes in your life
GhostofAlexJonesss lol are you okay man?
I haven't driven a car way too fast with someone else in it because I'm not retarded.
@@poika22 bubble boy
This guy is so gnarly!
if you look closely shes giving a thumbs up while shes "stuck under the bike". Jos a fucking boss
Tyler Durden she's one hot Canuck
I like your interviews, but it is annoying that you break up interviews into little videos
Yes, I think the same.
I know, It's stupid, but some people get paid for amount views so by doing this it's increases his income.
Views man. Views.
Taggert Butterfield get over it. it’s his channel. you go interview ppl and upload videos your way.
Only way to truly make enough money off the videos. Blame UA-cam
I've watched hundreds of graham's clips and love his work.
That said, the way he asked this follow up question was very brutal to Travis.
You go from a stunt that almost went wrong and had Travis speaking to how much it bithefed/traumatized him
Then go into what is clearly the worst event of Travis' life
Travis is amazing for being able to speak back to back and answer these questions from Graham.
I haven't found anything to be critical about your interviews and love your work, to the point that I know you'll read this comment.
Motocross and Travis have a deep seeded love in my heart. I used to do caution flagging as a kid too young to work and make 100 a day controlling flags and a portion of a racetrack to alert racers to other fallen racers or to notify the facility to send medical help as the downed racer is seriously injured and needs immediate medical attention (broken leg, consciousness loss).
Regardless I loved the sport and was saving to buy my own bike with this job and low and behold an approximately 14 year old Travis showed up in New York randomly for a qualifier to the amateur nationals at Loretta Lynn's ranch (biggest race of the year for motocross amateurs, essentially their Superbowl. Best amateur riders from the entire nation descend upon Tennessee and get to work.
So Travis showed up at my local track and I couldn't contain myself and was cheering him on as a flagger. We were approximately the same age but he was just being featured in Fox (mx apparel company) just starting to show a leaning towards displaying his freestyle ability while still racing.....
Honestly it was one of the best days of my life watching this young phenom show up and having never seen the track just bulldoze grown men who had spent 20+ years and hundreds of hours beating laps into the track but his skill and pure talent allowed him to just see racing lines differently and simply demolish the local pros on his first few laps of having touched the track.
Tavis Pastrana Is a special special human being. Rare in the vein of Hunter S Thompson, "too weird to live but too rare to die.".......
Anyway. Keep up. The good work Graham. I love all of your work.
Ain’t nobody got time for daht!!
@@sinatra6434 no worries. It was meant for the adults.
Very cool life story👌 Well said comments about Travis. He is absolutely gifted in many ways✌️🇺🇸♥️
Super idiot
You should have talked to him about how much fireball he keeps in that redbull bottle
A living legend🤟
How many more of these old interviews do you have in yr locker, Graham?
learn about contracts and time...
Graham , SNEAKY!!...set him up on the joelyne question , “so Your never gonna involve another person in your stunts?”..SO, what happened to your friend you paralyzed back in the day ...TRAVIS:Oh, that guy is happier now , he’s winning races with no legs...DID ANYONE CATCH ALL THAT?
919neatnclean for real what a fucked up interviewer
Anyone wondering who he is referring to his name is Matt Bigos. Matt was scheduled to be travis' mechanic for a race and travis was giving him a test drive of his new corvette. Travis may have broken a finger and Matt was close to losing his life. Travis' dad Robert wouldn't visit travis in the hospital and was pretty upset about it being it was one of the only times Travis put another person at risk over himself.
Matt was someone I knew from racing who worked at the local yamaha shop in cocoa Florida. He was a pretty fast B class racer who qualified for Lorettas b4 his accident. Super nice guy.
I hope you are telling the truth. Such a sad/tragic story. Thanks for sharing!
met TP at NASCAR between practices, nicest guy you could ever want to meet.
john jones he really is ive met him problably over 10 times hes so kind hearted my dog loves him
Too bad his stupid decisions ended up taking his friends ability to walk.
true and you can see on travis he still fell bad about it this day but we all have ben young n 18 we all did stupid things
@@laska907 Idiot...
He got his buddy paralyzed then almost kills his friend skydiving... great guy
Your a FUCKINg idiot
@@austins663 He also said “WE were going too fast” as if he wasn’t the only one driving lol.Na bro,YOU were going too fast and put your friends lives in danger.I can’t respect anybody that does shit like that.If you wanna put your own life at risk, that’s one thing. But to do that to your friends is just straight dirtbag shit.
Then gets Bruce Cook paralyzed by recruiting him to do a double front flip.
@Max Morris I've always liked Pastrana but after hearing these types of things, it makes me question a few things. It seems as though he's too comfortable putting other people in harms way. And I know you are going to say, "If they didn't want to do it, they shouldn't have done it". And that is all good and great but a lot of people are chasing the same "glory" that he gets and I feel as though he is just a little too willing to put them in dangerous situations that they might not be ready for (obviously in this situation) to get them there. Some people don't need to be encouraged when they are on the verge of making poor choices.
@Max M you are right, the friends know the obvious and present danger in the stunts and they are the ones who choose to go into it with travis.
wiki only says travis was hurt, no mention of anyone else
I like travis pastrana, but these guys live on the edge. I really hope he and his friends never gets too serious an injury
You might want to read up on Erik Roner then
schaunichhelf Damn that's terrible
He's already had some "too serious an injury"
Risked my life to save a stranger, gnarly story.
The buddy tried multiple times but failed to get his buddy. How it all went down is one heck of a story.
Dude was dead for 10min before I got to him. Sometimes things go wrong. Sometimes you get lucky and it’s a happy ending.
Matthew 10:29
Dude is just lucky. So many have died doing way less.
i respect him because he won't hide himself .. he knows what's had happened and he is still stuffering for that but he talks about it to avoid others doing the same thing ..

Only on a Suzuki!!!!
No respect
This video should have been called" Hey, Travis, why do you try to kill all your friends?"
x
i cant watch these vids with the pimple on his chin.
The fact that he had that car accident that caused his friend a life changing injury and he still did that stunt at the Grand Canyon...that’s hubris. I don’t think he’s a bad person but it’s inexcusable.
If she would have dies u would be talking a different story u need to listen man thats not cool it's bad enough that you want to be wild but to kill someone else that's not cool
Yet you still put other ppl in danger. You'll grow up one day.
Kinda dislike him now
Not a fan anymore
That was incredibly reckless to have that girl do that BASE jump with so few skydives. Absolutely unheard of to BASE jump with so few dives nvm a stupid jump off of a motorcycle. Lost a lot of respect for him with that story. That is exactly how people die BASE jumping. She's so lucky, but even the fact that she would go along with it tells me she'll probably bite the dust BASE jumping one day. People who make stupid decisions like that don't last long.
She's an adult, she makes her own decisions. Blaming others after an incident when they have already warned you of the dangers before hand is a pussy move. Grow up.
We get that it was a BASE jump. Yes a BASE jump we see!
