Barsabus you can’t mass produce these. You can try to replicate them, knock them off, but you can’t make an authentic one. It’s the meaning that makes the hat.

I remember meeting TP in Daytona 2005 at the GNCC flat track at municipal stadium. TP never raced FT before. Thought it would be fun and “easy”. I saw Team Suzuki pull up and my buddy and I thought “Suzuki has a team?”
Travis was hanging around the pits with his crew so we went up to him to say hi and good luck. He actually talked to us for a good 30 minutes and was totally humble and down to earth. What you see on tv is exactly how he is in real life.
I remember him saying how flat track looked easy and “how hard could it be? You’re only turning left!”
He got smoked by local experts and the national boys. Still had a smile on his face the entire time!!
The factory begged him to ride the RMZ with the flat track frame. Travis insisted he ride the motocross frame. When he practiced on both, he was 1 second faster on the flat track frame but said it felt too weird so he stuck with the MX frame. Good memories.
When he said his shoes flew off I lost it😂🤣

I truly think that the ramp builder especially the one that tests their ramps and almost land world's first tricks deserve them more than a pro that lands the very same trick (I.e> quad bmx backflip)
it really shows how much of it is in the engineering and design and just how nuts these builders are being rdy to test that stuff and tweak it so it's just right for the pro

lol, how fucking old are all of us now? i remember when TP first really came on the scene, absolute madman and was a bit weird to look up to someone my age, less so now that i am older but when i was a teenager it was all about competition with me, TP on the other hand was my kind of dude but just so much better than me and gave me the motivation to push myself even harder but still i knew i would never reach his level.

I know his accident didn't happen at Travis's but I kept thinking Scotty Cranmer deserves one of these hats. Like any normal human would've died from his wreck, but not only did he survive, but now he's riding and walking after being declared paralysed. Surely that deserves a Hat! 🤘🏼🤙🏼🤘🏼

They are really just Pastraland hats though... defeats the purpose otherwise. Honestly he could give them to a lot more people for a lot of reasons but each one was given for something done specifically at Pastranaland. Like Vicki Golden was there, she has world firsts as a female but she didn't get a hat.

I still have a PW80 to screw around on and a 650 classic for cruising, but I don't heal like I used too, But fun to watch guys. Nice video brothers.
