Cub Cadet 782 Clean up

In this video we have the mighty KT-17 waking up after a several year hiatus. This motor was rebuilt with new rods, rings, bearings, governor gear and gasket set many years ago. We ran into a problem with the starter coming loose and a fuel pump starting to fail, by leaking into the engine, which was never repaired prior to being put away. We replaced the mechanical fuel pump and installed lock nuts and washers on the starter as well as changed the oil and filter. A couple of quarts of 30 wt Viscosity brand oil and we are back in action!
