Maybe the animation community is so intimate. When I announced to my middle school clas (I forget which grade) that I was going to do an essay on Chuck Jones, they were confused. One even said, "You mean Chuck _Norris_."
I haven't seen this short in years! It's great to watch it again. I also didn't realize the Man upstairs was voiced by The Brain. I knew he wanted to take over the world, but I never thought he'd rule the universe!
I remember having a crush on the green Imp *Net'l*. I was like 8. I had always thought they were aliens. I remembered the cartoon for years, but never found a trace of it. I was watching RebelTaxi's video about failed pilots, some of said pilots were in the recommended videos, and sure enough this popped up and I recognized the green guy immediately.

This show seems like a one season type of show if it ever got a shot. I can see the episodic nature running it’s course but the character designs leave something to be desired. I can see Chris Reccardi really wanting to get his space and technology stuff through in his cartoons but this pilot wasn’t really funny at all but I appreciate what they were going for with the man up stairs. His best pilot will always be Modifyers in my opinion.

It might be possible to pass through something like Audacity and filter out the noise. I don't really care enough to try, though.

The animation looks like a bit to Ren and Stimpy but at the same time to The Powerpuff Girls.
