Most ECM recordings require UA-cam Premium to actually stream the song, and sometimes Spotify takes my storage up - this cover version is a good substitute. Metheny is a tasteful composer, no doubt.
Know the tune well. As a Pro Bass player for 40 years, I'm know what I'm used to hearin and well "not bad' on the solo (as Mark Egan is a fab player). Guitar and drums are very strong. Overall, great job. "Cheer's". PS Nice "Pat" tone.............
This is playing way faster than it should be and has far too much treble. Uploaded from some cheap A/D record deck?! sounds pretty bad to be honest compared to the original

I love the bass tone. It’s not as bright as Jaco himself or as rumbly as Mark Egan but it’s very smooth and mellow. Nice job.
