I made the same mistake with the zeolite … great soil additive but I think it is too rough for the seedlings to push up through- perhaps more importantly my zeolite was about .5 cm thick and I think the seeds did not get enough light
@@mlalouro8188 that's awesome to hear! I love the variation you can get in Trichos. Will try do a farm update within a weeks time 😁. Appreciate the support.
What’s your seed start mix? What kind of tray is that? I haven’t started any echinopsis from seed in a few years. I have 500 or so seeds right now from 15 diff crosses. I’ve been hoarding takeout containers for a couple years at least haha
@@edwardcarrington3531 not sure what container your talking about I just use whatever I can that will do the job haha The mix is just a general seed raising mix and on top is 1-2mm pumice which for me as made a big difference.
@@billyjack3580 well the way I see it is the bigger the stock the more nutrients it can pump into the scion. It just depends on what people have at there disposal and room and all that see I plant to have a grafting are where all the root stock are in-ground and around 80cm in height and will graft onto around 100 of them and each year I'll cut the grafts off and do new grafts onto pups that form on those 80cm stocks.
Wish I could give a thumbs up to this video twice! Thanks for the update on your beautiful plants!
Nice.....❤❤❤
You are an inspiration, amazing collection, loce watching your videos.
Love this channel make more 😂
Nice feature at 22.00 - 23.00 admiring your cactus, but also celebrating what you’ve learned from its expression…
@@robertboeckmann1111 always learning something new. That cactus blew me away with its characteristics I've never seen before

Tha k you for the update
My Tricho collection is quickly growing bigger than my other cactus collection because of this channel! Hope to see some farm updates soon.

Good stuff, was wondering how you were going. Curious to see how the farm is coming along, lots of work I'd imagine but well worth it.
Great update on the experiments. Surprised how well those are tolerating the extreme amount of feed. Keep it up! thanks
Would you ever do international shipping for your spachianus seeds?

I noticed you do a lot of grafting on 60-80 cm stock. Is that more-or-less the optimum size? How well do they grow, compared to 30 cm stock?

The 1min 30sec cactus. What's the cross? Also does it have phyadellic alkaloids within?
