Can we just take a second to appreciate the time and effort you put into editing these longer videos? I know editing long plant tour videos like this one takes forever, so I really appreciate all of the time you put into producing quality long form content. From the plant name subtitles to the b-roll showing what plants looked like in past videos, I appreciate every detail you put into your videos. Thank you for giving us such amazing content each week.
Thank you so much for this, I really appreciate you saying that and I’m so glad you enjoy my videos! 😊🤗🌿
Agreed
Wow!!
I just finished watching Claire's plant tour and now you've got one too. THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER 🍃
Ahhh perfect!! I need to watch hers too 😍
3 hours of Claire tour and just after finishing it I saw ur😅
Oh girls, what are u doing to me❤I have to cook and do some laundry😅
SAME!! 🌿💚💚
I knew they were going to post them back to back! This is such a great day lol
I did the same 🎉
If you’ve been watching Fern for a minute, it’s funny to hear her introduce herself as living in a small house. Because we started this journey together in some truly tiny apartments so, in my mind, her current house is a relative (and beautiful) mansion…of course one with all the expected spectacular foliage. This is has been a fun ride, thanks for the reminders to keep it chill and reduce all overwhelm. I need them.
Seriously! When she moved into this house I was blown away with all the space 🤣
take a shot (of water) every time Fern says a plant is one of her favorites 😅😅 we will be hydrated AF by the end of the vid
I jest, I can't pick a favorite of my plants either!! they're ALL my favorites, that's *why* they're in my collection!!! ❤ much love for you, Fern, and the pups 🐶 💜💜
I think I need to use the bathroom already. Doing a sip of water every favorite plant of Ferns. Lol 😂
Lol. Yaaasss! They are all favorites...
Sometimes we might sideeye one that's not cooperating and threaten it may get kicked out of our collection either by way of sell trade or trash. Lol
Seriously!! So hydrated 😂 "Favorite," "top," "all time," or "pride and joy" 🥰🥰🥰
There are so many! And they're so different! No way to choose just one favorite.
😂😂😂
Look at your THAI!!! After the journey you've been through, she's looking soooo amazing!!! I'm so glad she's doing so great for you!!
These houseplant tour vids are always dangerous. My wishlist keeps growing! Especially seeing ur Begonias…that’s been my latest obsession.
I’m so envious of your space, it’s beautiful! My dogs are so rowdy, I have to keep everything farrrr out of their path of destruction hahaha. You’ve inspired me to make my own cabinets once I have a bit more stable income though ❤
Absolutely love how you plant styled your Sol planter. And I’m so happy that it makes you happy 🫶🏻
Thank you Ash 🥹💛 it is so special to me and will always remind me of such an exciting & “sunny” time in my life 🌞
2 hours AND its only part 1?? Fern!!! You spoil us!! I swear every time I have tons of plant chores to catch up on, you upload. I love putting your vids on while I do my own plant chores, its so motivating for me lol. Hope you're doing well!!! 🐞🐞🌻
I just wanted to say I’ve been following you since day one and your journey through your ups and downs and it’s been really interesting to watch. Unfortunately my life had a tern for the worse and I split up from a long-term relationship. I lost my beautiful dog and I just took some time out to kind of guess find myself I’ve now really luckily reconnected with you and find you so, knowledgeable in your field, you have grown so much in your skills and knowledge, and your just a fun chilled person to listen to and observe so just want to say I’m so pleased to be back on your UA-cam channel and watching your life as it’s progressed and changed and I just wanted to say thank you for being their, I feel like I’m in my safe place again. Keep doing you, you’re amazing. ❤
Awe I'm so sorry to hear that life has been so tough lately 🥺❤️🩹 thank you for your kind words and welcome back to my channel
That’s the cutest little begonia. The green of the leaf with the pink stems. It’s to die for.
Thank you, Fern 💚 was watching the tour while preparing dinner 🍲
Love all your plants and looking forward to part 2 ☺️
I really love the way you arranged the plants around your place! It looks so cohesive and beautiful!! What an amazing collection you have! Watching this video just makes me want to buy more plants.😂
Thank you so much 🥺 I really appreciate this!
Thanks for turning me on to pings! I have acquired 3 since January. A mighty mouse, a snow angel and a pirouette. I can’t wait to get more this year. Enjoyed this house tour video 😊
So happy to finally see this tour!!! I’m just at the beginning and you mentioned not knowing what to do with your tortum, have you ever thought about putting a big trellis on the wall and putting a few plants on it? Nick Pileggi(Phillyfoliage) has two of those in his home and seems like a great low maintenance options for climbing plants!
Harli G gets her pots from thrift stores. She finds some cute affordable one's too.❤
Yeah I've never had any luck and I usually look every time :( It seems thrift stores are way better in the US!
I live for the inexpensive grocery store finds😊🌿👍🌱💦
Bought the Alocasia Chienlii after you showed your purchase and mine was struggling even more than yours. It just kept wilting, lost all its leaves. I finally cut off all its roots and popped it in water, grew back roots like crazy (first time I’ve had a successful water propagation) now has two leaves, I’ll be potting it in Pon and 🤞🏽.
If it continues not to thrive for you, you may want to try hydro/semi-hydro.
Forever one of my favorite plant and even lifestyle youtuber (cause I love your cozy vlog channel too). You truly have inspired me to make my own youtube channel.
My batik also grows a bit funny when the leaf is highly variegated. I think the more white, the more wonk. 😂
Your new setup is so dreamy. Beautiful!
Thanks, Fern. Great stuff. Appreciate you.
Is an amydrium always medium, or does it come in small or large?
Your living room and dining room look incredible Fern I love all the plants 💯👍👋😂
Thanks so much 😊
You work so hard! Love all your pretty plants 🌱 I can’t wait for part two! Your home is so cute and cozy🥰
I love your Forgetii... I can't wait to get one for myself. And Oh. My. Gosh! Your Krimson Queen is plant goals!! Absolutely L.O.V.E!!
My obovata has a long vine for the longest. After I repotted into a 6 inch pot and it started putting out new leaves. Its beautiful 😍
Beautiful space. I love the dimension of the place mats on your dining table. I kindly suggest adding a candle centerpiece -like 3 candlesticks. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home
My shinningia has looked like that all winter and just dropped the entire plant down to the caudex and is now growing TWO new stems! I don’t know how to care for her either but this is our second winter and her second time regrowing
Watching your videos is the only bit of enjoyment I have outside of studying for my nursing entrance exam. Literally your videos are the only thing I sit down and watch then it’s back to studying so Thankyou for making a 2 hour long one for me to enjoy!!🩵
I have a Pinguicula "Pirouette" that is also splitting into two!!! She bloomed once and then a second time while the first flower was still in full bloom and then she split into two!!! I was absolutely shook.
Dang Girl! Impressive to say the least!!! Looking forward to watching Part 2 now 💚🌱🌿🪴
This was the perfect background video to get some computer work done!
Thank you so much for watching 😁
Get a bigger stake for the tortum. I’d like to see what it does as it gets bigger.
I love everyone 🥹
My A. Zebrina reticulata did the same when it was small. I water pripped it then put it in LECA and its doing great now. Really sizing up... So you might try semi hydro for yours. 👍 I really live your collection! 😍💚
Yayyy Fern! I watch every video and I’m still excited like I’ve never seen any of them before 😂
im convinced, this girl is a plant fairy 🧚♀
Awesome plant tour. Looking fwd to pt 2. Thanks Fern!
I really enjoyed your houseplant tour. Your collection is impressive and set up is great!!!!! I have a manjula pothos, which I have placed on a handmade wire moss poll. A year later and it still isn't climbing. The growth is so slow. Not sure if I like the wire moss poles either.
Looking forward to part 2, part 1 was fantastic 🎉😀🇨🇦
Thank you so much for watching! Part 2 will be live tomorrow morning :)
Yayy two hours of Fern! And we get a part two as well, can't wait!! 😊💛
I think I need a Pepperomia hope. Those little round leaves are so stinking cute.
Get one! It was on my wish list for a long time. Just got one about a month ago and it's SO cute and pushing out new growth!
The crimson queen is stunning. Mine is mostly white and was at a stand still but I just found a white leaf coming in. It’s pink in the center but I’m hoping for some green on it.
I want a Thanksgiving or Christmas cactus 🌵 I don't celebrate either holiday, but I want one or the other next year for sure. I'm breaking my no plant buy when plantsbymelissa opens up her plant shop online. I want to support her as she is one of my favorite plant channels, but I don't know if she'll have one of these cactuses. 😊 I think 🤔 her plant shop will open this month sometime. Can't wait 😄🌿💦💵
I’ve been waiting for your plant tour!! Your plant collection is definitely my favourite always inspiring me!!! Your hard work and effort really pays off fern 😍🪴💖☮️
How do the pings in the small terrarium feed?
Because the browning thing on your monstera aurea: Do you check the ph-level in the substrate? Monsteras like slightly higher ph-level. :)
My sheperdii is being weird too, I keep getting yellowing leaves and circular brown spots...I think I'm doing something wrong with watering
That was fun.
Helped me get through my day ❤
Wow, I didn’t know I needed a jacklyn until I just saw yours. Absolutely amazing!
What was the place that had pots for pings? Thank you. Love your videos
Fun fact if u got ur Thai con was from 5 years ago then u likely got one from the beast mother plants they used first
Omg, I gasped when the Ping fell 😂
Love the nail color btw! Is it Mooncat?
Thanks for taking the time to do this. Love hearing a plant's background, struggles, tips, general commentary. Always learn something new!
I have some bearpaws that are regular and variegated. I propagate them easily by cutting the stem diagonally under a pair of leaves. Stick it in soil and keep it watered to help the roots grow, they propagate really easily this way c:
Begonia moona should be the next Mooncat nail color 🤭😍
I loved seeing your collection ❤ Do you propagate your linearis in water?
looking forward to part 2
This channel keeps getting better and better ❤ amazing work Fern! 😊
I love hoya ❤ I've had really good luck with them growing in the beginning but damn recently I've been struggling. My NGG is ugly but still alive, thrips got my polyneura 😢, my inner and outer variegated bella aswell as my linearis are on the verge of death 💀 ☠️ kinda sad but what you gonna do, replace them eventually I guess 😂
Tickled me when you talked about being a chronic underwaterer while showing us the anthurium "forgetii" lol. Really cool collection!
wait--you moved??!! have you done a new HOUSE tour??? I need to see the BONES!!!
Do you have any grow tips for the variegated bear paw? Mine doesn’t seem to grow hardly and leaves fall off easily. I think I might be under-watering it, but I’m not sure.
Fern do you use foliar spray for your Hoyas? I highly suggest it
Hola! Quisiera que digas cuál sustrato le pones a cada una de tus plantas.🤗
how is temparature? summer and winter. so beautiful❤
Fern, I hope you don't give up on looking for a thrifted pot. Maybe try a few different thrift stores, or come to the US and find one. That seems unreasonable to come to the US for such thing. But you could make a day of it for vlogging if you wanted to.
For the carnosa Krimson Queen to flower you could let her climb! She loves that and will give you flowers!
Where did you get the begonia greenhouse?
So excited for the tour! I love seeing full updates like this 🥰
Happy Monday Fern ❤
@plantsbymelissa has a giant esquelto on a tall moss pole and her leaves are huge. So the potential is there for yours to get much bigger.
I like all your Begonias ❤❤❤🎉
I wonder if your Ludisia is from the southern hemisphere where their summer is our winter.
I am losing leaves on begonia amphioxis :( only along the bottom, but it’s sprouting out new leaves on the top… 😮 I don’t get it. I have it in a dome. I wonder if it’s too much humidity? Is yours just chilling in regular household humidity?
Aww thanks for the shoutout Fern 💗 Your collection is such a vibe 🪩 Thank you for the hard work you put into your houseplant tour - it turned out amazing and I can’t wait to see part 2 🤍
I just love your place❤❤❤❤it reminds me of my childhood home in Australia in the 70/80’s. I lived in India for 8 years…..no natural light and dreamt of having beautiful plants everywhere. Now I live in Singapore and live in a “fish bowl”…..my collection is growing weekly. I buy most of mine at the supermarket and they’re incredible ❤
Wow you’ve lived in so many places! Super cool :)
Hi, Fern! Since your orchid does not have any blooms, this the perfect time to repot! It'll concentrate it's energy towards the roots instead of the blooms, so there will be less shock. Thanks for the video! :)
I didn't want a variegated micans until I saw your halo. That is spectacular!
I cannnnot believe the growth your Thai has had! I remember when it kept getting root rot
I just watched the whole video while painting by numbers and it was so cozy, thanks for all the effort fern 💚🌿
I love your hoya collection! You inspired me to buy a Wilbur graves, which was (sort of) an impulse buy 😁 I also love your syngonium albo. I was surprised to find one last week at my local nursery, so of course I had to buy 🪴
I like the long time you keep the names on the bottom to read.
Where do you get your acrylic trellises?
Where do you get the clear plastic pots from? Not linked in Amazon and I’m driving myself crazy trying to find a link in your other videos.

@@wildfern THANK YOU!🙏🏻
I really enjoy terririams❤
If there’s anything I took from this video, it’s the fact that I need a Thai pink lipstick plant 😭💗 lmao can’t wait for part 2! 🥹🫶🏽 also the change in the outro song caught me off guard BUT I loved it 🥹🥰
I know it’s the same song but the timing you put on it caught me off guard if that makes sense 😅😂
Absolutely LOVE your hair pulled back. Stunning!
Thank you 🥹🫶
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Love your setup and very much enjoyed the tour. You have an amazing collection!!!
Talk about a bushy woman 😂
So glad you love them. Don't forget to come for a visit and see the "tent-arium" in person! Love your vids as usual. You keep me company when I'm working in solitude!
Love it Fern! You are such a joy to watch! I appreciate your hard work! 🙏 💚
I’ve been waiting for this one! ❤️
Oh that Alocasia heterophylla is stunning! So, are you using bought pon or still making your own? I remember years ago you did a diy pon vid. Wow, I've never heard of polaroid variegation but I love it! OMG that krimson queen is eye-popping beautiful!!! the white leaves are amazing. If you find a good plastic sheet to make diy backing for the wire poles please let us know. I'm curious if you'll spray the moss on the poles with hydrogen peroxide to keep the algae down? I've never heard of variegated thanksgiving cactus, gorgeous! Ok, see you tomorrow, lol!!
AWesome plant tour Fern but I have to say I am totally on your page with the Syngonium Frosted Heart!! I just got one too and it had been on my wish list for the longest time. I have mine on a moss pole now and it seems to be happy atm ( we are technically at the start of autumn but we are still getting summer weather here in Sydney with naturally higher than average humidity). I smiled when you showcased it. Im in love with it!!! And I cant wait to see new growth. Congrats on your perfect looking leaf👏🏼🫶👌🏼 See you in Part Tour, I mean, Part 2 😜😉🥰
Your pinguicula with slender leaves may be a Pinguicula "Aphrodite" I have one and love her. However, they get really big for pings. Mine is about 8-10 inches in diameter 🤯
Get girl not to alarm u but it looks like u might have a flower spike on ur Bulbophyllum!!! It’s a little light green spike that comes from the base of the pseudo bulb
Omg!!! The way I ran to go check. I see it! 😱
@@wildfern oh thank god, I’m blind as hell so I was scared that it wasn’t and I just gave miss information😂😂 but yay!! I’m excited for them to bloom!!
I’m so curious as to if you use any humidifiers?! Ive literally watched so many videos of yours and can never find one and wonder how your plants are so fabulous🫶🏽 excited for part two of your tour, the longer form quality content is addicting fr‼️ loved this tour you have so many gems🌞
