- Yes, it's Christmas time in the forest! Join myself and @Linleys for a camp life Christmas special. We have a full cook up on the camp fire including Lamb on a spit.
Also I had a go at eggs and bacon cooked on the X-Boil stove.

Guess I now can work out about pork and apple .. thanks Dan ..lol. Great to once again see you guys having the Christmas Spirit. We're in hot summer time i'm going to sit on my nephews prawn trawler and enjoy prawns crabs etc whilst trying to keep cool. Compliments of the Seasons both of you and your families. Bushyboy Oz.

Outstanding grub up in the woods Mr Dan, another really enjoyable episode of Camp life mate. As for Christmas, home with the wife and my son, and much like yourself, we will spend the day over eating, drinking and enjoying time together. It wont be long now before my son has his own path to tread, so enjoy it while I can. Good to see Mr Linley doing the business with the Xmas puddings, all the food looked very inviting mate. Keep the videos coming, big thumbs up bud.

I dont know too many folks that like parsnips and brussels, but no other way to put it ......... I f'n love 'em !!!!!!!!!!!!
Btw; I'm sure you've had, or heard of, a potato and pumpkin mash, well my nan, (originally from Kent, and I'm pretty sure she brought the idea with her.), used to do a carrot and parsnip mash, out-bloody-standing IMO, ............... and you don't have to worry about culinary knife skills ; )

I often do mashed swede and carrot, but this year as I had some I did mash swede and sweet potato. both are pretty good.
also, my wife and I always chop up the left overs on Boxing Day and fry it up as a Christmas bubble and squeak... just literally eaten it. with scrambled egg and beans.

the oinetigress tetra looks like a good replacement for the bungalow. it has all the the benefits plus you can sit in it closed in the rain.
