Rode mine from Paris Arkansas to Ruidoso NM. A 1600 mile trip. Went through heavy rain and strong winds. The max handled it like a champ. I cruise at around 75mph. Getting 73 mpg. I love this scooter and highly recommend it.
I'm picking mine up soon and live in Ft Smith !
I just picked mine up in Tulsa and I believe it's the best for the price with more standard features than any in its class. Plenty of leg room and smooth as silk !!!

I had an xmax 300 and loved it. I sold it to make more room in my shed for a boat project. After that project
I bought a KLR to replace the xmax, but liked the xmax better so put a deposit on a 2024 which the salesman said might be at the dealer in April. The sales man told me they were only scheduled to get one !
I just wish it came with cruise control.
Yamaha is the most reliable and dependable scooter on the road. Never go with the BMW

BMW 400 is ALL MADE WITH CHINESE PARTS AND TOTALLY MADE IN CHINA ......Xmax is made better in Indonesia !!!! Much better build !!!!

False advartisement.... I bought it (Tech Xmax 300-2023) on Oct.2023 and you do not see who is calling to the screen. Also the phone notifications sector is not working... The reply of the Yamaha dealership is that this feature will be "unloked to the near future..."
Also at 05.20 you show when you turn the bike on something like yellow led around the screen..something that is not there..

In the part of the engine, this is not the engine of the xmax300 its the nmax engine 155
CORRECTION: the high mount LED indicators do not add to the streamlined look. In fact, these "ears" detract from the stramlined cool look. The ears should be a part of the mirrors -- like on a forza. The xmax is far better than the forza, but the mirrors are horrible and the ears are insane. Easy fix, so it is time for Yamaha to FIX this!
Agreed...they kinda' look like a kid who hasn't grown into his ears.
That's why I got a 2023 .....not only do blinkers look so streamlined but the difference in the new bright headlights is insane .....they're so much better !!!! I had dealer put mine in back room with lights on and sure enough they weren't up enough.....so dealer took the time to raise the headlights up a little and now they're as bright as a cars headlights !!!!
I can't believe earlier years went so long with those poor lights ????? Big time improvement was lights, blinkers, and TFT color dash !!!!! No Maxi scooter can beat 2023 Xmax 300 for the price of $6299 out the door .....it's a steal to buy at end of year with over a thousand bucks savings ....that's why I waited till Nov.
