I had a 2018 Yamaha XMAX and sold it like a dummy. It was very pleasant to ride, very dependable, and had plenty of power. I own a MT03, but looking to buy another XMAX. For me and my purpose, the scooter is the way to go. Thanks for the vid.
I´m unsure if I should sell mine. I´ve done nearly 50.000km (30k miles) on my 2019 Xmax 300. I´ve gotten used to the amount of storage and the weather protection on my daily commute. Basically the only thing I´m missing is some power, granted, that´s a pretty big point especially because I ride on the Autobahn a lot. I know I would miss it for it´s simplicity and at the latest when I have to go out on a cold, wet winter morning. It just doesn´t light a spark in me anymore and I miss shifting a bit.
Great ride, and I hope to see more of these on the road. Also, hope that Yamaha sticks with NA and scoots. Oh, hilarious jesus mult-colored billboard at 0:25!
I am an avid Honda car fan but this is the second time in my life that Honda has screwed themselves as far as I am concerned. The last time I was deciding between a Honda and a Yamaha was back in 2015 when I had my sights set on a Honda Ruckus to commute all around Altus, Oklahoma when I lived there. I went with a Yamaha Zuma 125 and put about 12,000 miles on mine just in that little town. Now I am deciding between a Honda ADV 160 and a Yamaha XMAX. Honda must be drinking bong water or something. First of all, why won't they bring the ADV 350 to America?? And a rear DRUM brake? Stupid. Anyhow my next scooter will be an XMAX.
Yes both traction control and ABS can be turned off .......but will automatically come on when needed. On long stretches on hiway if both are turned off your gas mileage will barely be better !
You really don't need the app do you? I mean, I don't want the bike to lose features due to not using the app. I would rather not give Yamaha access to everything on my phone. Thanks for sharing.
Xmax has no trouble going cross country Unlike alot of the other 300 cc scooters ! Can you imagine going cross country on a Vespa GTS 300......wow that little tire with flat seat no storage couldn't handle it !!!!!!

I have a new T120, but I find my XMax very enjoyable and fun. I’d like to have a TMax if I could afford.

What was good about the video wrong clothing couldn’t work the screen, a nice big ugly mug. On the right hand side at the top.
Admittedly the scooter is a a bit tall. The brand new one is slightly easier though. Screen has 2 adjustments.

And that's why I got the Motoforti brand wind screen off Amazon for $29.99 ....now there's no wind at all on helmet and it's quiet !!!

The best for Xmax is long cruises . .very comfortable indeed !!!!
That´s hardly a challenge. This thing is suited for touring from the factory.

Nice views of the XMax. A bit light on info. Engine capacity, mileage, transmission type, etc. Otherwise entertaining to view.
