But no doubt, the USA is way too fat. There are actually more people in the "obese" category now, than in the basic "overweight" category.

I felt betrayed when I grew up and realized that these "drinking birds" actually do have to drink something to function, they are powered by evaporative cooling. As such they cannot operate a keyboard, even a keyboard on a hair trigger
If I recall correctly, Homer only went up to 300 pounds. Now 300 pounds is pretty damn heavy, especially for a person of average height, but it's not quite mumu-wearing, qualifies-for-disability heavy.
Well, i find him very obese for 315 lbs, Look at Bubba Ray Dudley, he weights 325lbs, but is definitely not that obese. Homer looks more like exceeding 330lbs.
Interestingly, this episode is probably the only one where he is actually doing his job.
