    Reed did an admirable job as the starting QB, especially since he is only a freshman. He helped the team find ways to win games. However, we needed someone to open up the offense by passing well and Weigman did exactly that. Weigman's performance is what was needed to dominate opponents. There is no doubt about it.
    Weigman was the X factor and will continue to be a so for the rest of the season because of the vastly improved OL. He was good in the last two seasons despite the porous OL. With a good OL, he will become the dominant force in games.

    Both Moss and Daniels. Before the season, people were talking about our running back room being very spread out and there not being a THE guy. But now, it’s safe to say that almost any one of those guys could be the guy and it’s amazing.

    Team game. Bussey’s pass break up was as big as the lineman downfield that negated a Missouri touchdown.

      How incredibly lucky was it that we had a receiver running that route that also happened to be an insanely talented defensive back? We literally recruited him as a DBack originally. I was at the game on the first deck and had a front row seat to that play, and I continue to be amazed at how the stars aligned for that to play out the way it did.

    The MVP of the game was Le’veon Moss. Of the season, it’s Nic Scourton. He has led the defensive line which has been AMAZING. They won the Arkansas game for us, dominated Florida, won the bowling green game, dominated Missouri.

    Aggies now have to avoid the Alabama, Tennessee, pitfall of winning a big game then being upset as double digit favorites in their next games. Mississippi State is just such a game for A&M. be very afraid

      @kenlandgren4701 Bama did against Georgia, Tennessee did against Oklahoma but then thought they were invincible against their next opponent. what they did last game means nothing the next game and why there are upsets. Aggies are in the exact same position as those two top 5 teams who laid eggs on the road against inferior teams. just hope they can play at the same level next game, not guaranteed.

    Being able to hit mid range passes kept Missouri from being able to stack the box like Arkansas or even Bowling Green had.
    People forget that even mobile QBs like, say, Manziel, need to be able to punish defenses for putting 8+ in the box.

    • @theevermind
      @theevermind 23 години тому +1

      Not just the mobile QB aspect. It opens up the rest of the running game. Putting stress on the LBs and safeties to decide can make them a step slower to crash down on the run, and that can make all the difference between a stuff and a big gain.

    Before the season started i thought of Moss as a nfl guy and looking forward to big games from him. As for this game weigman is my mvp. Come back in from injury and very decisive and accurate. The biggest difference to me is he’s quicker release than Reed. Reed has played well not great but well and very importantly never turned it over. But Reed always took an extra second to find his receiver and release the ball. Weigmans quick releases to the open receiver is paramount to a successful season. And looking forward to watching it

    Reed will be the better qb imo. Connor is better right now but I don't see him throwing down field like Reed. Running like Reed. Reed had height and strength, agility and speed. Think Reed will be qb#1 next yr unless Connor gets hurt again. Either way Reed got some valuable playing time this year and it will pay dividends in the games to come.

    • @jamesbernsen3516
      @jamesbernsen3516 19 годин тому

      Reed needs to improve his accuracy.Connor hit 80 percent of his passes in this game, Reed has been around 50. Yes, Reed has better legs, but until he can close that gap, Connor's got it. But Reed is young. He will grow. If he has the patience to learn and can get his accuracy in line with Connor, he's a legit dual-threat superstar. But I think that's a year or two away.

      One touchdown called back on some bullshit, minor in fraction that literally every single team that has ever played has happened every single passing down.
      And seven other very oddly timed, momentum killing flags
      I’m not saying that Texas A&M did not play well… i’m just saying that the game would not have been lopsided.

      @@ivangaeta3663The illegal man down field caused the corner to drop out of coverage to defend the run, springing the WR for the TD.
      In other words, the “minor” infraction caused the touchdown.
      And no, the vast majority of passing plays (Missouri’s included) do not feature an illegal man down field.

      @@ivangaeta3663 Ah, yes, the "following the rules is too much of burden" excuse. Don't blame the refs for calling a penalty when a penalty was committed. Ticky-tack or flagrant, if it happened and it gets called, the refs did their job correctly.
