@@AYSSports-SEC Why not? They had just pantsed mizzou and Will Lee proved to be that guy. Will Lee himself denied it before the game. Mizzou QB talking about practice being louder. Mizzou coach talking about Reed for sure being the starter. Mizzou coach planting a blanket to motivate his guy doesn't sound like it's that surprising. No one on a&ms side has said anything all year and then all of a sudden their trying to plant blankets and notes for a top 10 team? Doesn't make any sense.
@joshc8069 Blake wants to use the blanket story to call A&M classless and doesn't care about the truth. It's rich for an LSU fan to call any other fan base classless.

Another reason Mizzou might have done it is that it's a major breach of contract by the hotel to give out that information to anyone outside of the Mizzou organization

Aggies are real good! People just assumed because ND beat them in a damn good scrap that they weren't good... but newsflash...ND is damn good too. I don't care about that NIU bs.. Alabama lost to Vanderbilt because they overlooked them.... shit happens. I'm not gonna define a team by one game out of 12

Longtime Mizzou fan here. Elko beat up Mizzou psychologically and their team beat them up physically. Those of us that follow Mizzou should be used to both disappointment and mediocrity. Drink is not half the coach he thinks he is.

What I have noticed over the last several years is that A&M has looked like a very poorly coached team. Constantly dropping balls. Giving up on plays. Standing around with their thumbs up their asses. No confidence no aggressiveness. look how many times they gave up big leads and just seemed to quit in the 2nd half. This game they played hard and aggressive. Def swarmed the ball. no dropped passes. not too many stupid penalties. It's like they totally played with a different mind set.

A&M didn’t give him a blanket. Lee said he doesn’t have the time to track down where they are staying, what room he’s in, and finding a connection to leave him a note on his private bed. It’s more likely placed internally (Mizzou) to get the WR in war mode. It didn’t work.

As an Aggie fan, I think getting a healthy and accurate Conner back was a huge difference maker. If he can stay healthy and keep the turnovers down, the Ags will continue to make alot of noise this year. I think Missouri is better than they looked. I think they still end up with a pretty good season.
run game is legit too
As an Aggie, I STILL don’t think we played a great game. Too much letting receivers get open in the back end and Missouri didn’t capitalize on it whether it was bc of penalties or cook not being able to hit a throw. Too much letting cook escape the pocket when he should’ve been bottled up. Too many penalties screwing drives up/making 3rd downs much more difficult to convert. Not saying I’m not happy with the win but we played far from perfect, and this game was far from the ceiling I believe this team should be looking to reach.

@@AYSSports-SEC lots of mistakes Mizzou failed to capitalize on. Way too many dumb penalties too. My argument is we’ve got a much higher ceiling we can still reach than what this game showed.
Mizzou fan here, i disagree. The blanket incident was pretty fun. However, elko is claming it was eli that did it, which i could see. Eli outsmarted himslef several times leading up to this game.
That makes Eli look dumb then. On and off the field
@@AYSSports-SEC as I said Eli outsmarted himself a little here, which didn't go over well. Overall, not a good day for ranked teams. It will be interesting moving forward if Eli outsmarted himself or if Mizzou got exposed here. Still my team either way.
I rewatched this game last night. The Missouri sidelines looked like that had given up in the 1st quarter. When it was 7-0
they really did look like they gave up
There was only one bad call that they missed against A&M and that was the PI on the first drive. They missed the hold against Mizzou on their TD that would have wiped it off the board

The one TD they got should of been holding and so even if they had the 2 td’s that got reversed at best you score 21 with one td being a bad call and you still lose by 21 so even if the refs are “in A&M’s pocket” you still lost by 21 so as a Aggie fan I don’t wanna hear anything

Mizzou's LT and LG are not SEC ready. Mizzou WR's are believing their own press clippings. Coaches didn't have Mizzou ready. The D didn't look like they were ready to play. Drink trying to play mind games needs to stop and stop acting like a 12 year old.
