The defensive problems weren't all over the field. The DL, anchored by guys like Barrow, Mesidor and Baron--ALL transfers--wasn't the problem. They mostly held their ground. They need to find DB's and linebackers who can wrap a tackle, take good angles, communicate and UNDERSTAND where they need to be at all times. Bissainthe started as an undersized speed guy with range and ability to stay with tight ends and backs on pass routes. He LEARNED how to tackle as he filled out. He developed within the system. We need depth guys at every DB and LB position.

I remembered did anything close to what Travis is doing. was Charles Woodson and he even won the heisman. playing offense Part time. Ashton Jeanty deserved the Heisman. This was a Media driven Heisman hype ONLY for Travis Hunter who isn’t the MVP of the CU Buffs. Case in point, CU can win games without Hunter but Cannot Win without QB Sanders. Coach Prime had plenty of times to promote his player while the Boise State coach, we never saw him. Boise goes 12-1 and in the playoffs. Teams game plan against the Broncos was to Stop Jeanty while CU went 9-3 and no weapons. Jeanty has almost 2,500 yds and 29 TDs, OMG and can’t even win the Heisman. Hunter wins the Best WR over the kid from SJ St who was the Triple Crown winner in the FBS. No, it was all hype for Hunter who became the favorite when Beck, Dart, Ewers and Milroe all under preformed.

I think it's college football, and practically anything can happen. ND's strength is that their strength is running the ball behind their big offensive line. That's a more consistent and easy to control of way of winning football games. We will see what happens.

Without a doubt, Jeanty should have won it. He led his team to a conference title, set records and biggest of all, a playoff birth. Watched him tear my Ducks apart and he's still running.
