Respect the call out about the take on Connor. He was fantastic today. I was really hoping they would give him the start and he totally delivered!
Totally agree on the sentiment that this was one of the most complete performances that we have had in the last decade.

Weigman's arm talent is off the chart. Reason he could have gone to MLB after high school.
Big time arm talent, but also loved to see him mange the game the way he did. Just felt like he was in such command of the offense.
I feel bad for ragging on Wigman after ND. He’s in the know & I’ve learned you can’t doubt a real competitor..
100 percent. Unfair of me to be as down on him after a choppy week 1 performance against a really good defense. Happy to see him bounce back.

Probably the best win against the top 10 team since Connor and Achane beat the brakes off of top ranked LSU, but this felt more complete
This was about as complete of a performance that I can remember in a while. Each unit stepped up in a big way.

Great analysis! We have had ups and downs for years now while the defense and offense played lights out and so proud the biggest improvement is the OL massive improvement! Conner never had any time to put anything together because the past OL was horrible. Elko has also turned this program into a winning program.
OL! Totally agree, this looks like a completely different unit than it was last year. Hats off to Adam Cushing. Has done a great job with that group.

If all we're really saying its that A&M has a plausible shot at being top-12, perhaps.
If they can be 1-loss going into UT, then perhaps.
If they drop to LSU they will need to beat Texas. Tall order. If they get cocky with Auburn or SC, then, no. No shot at top 12.

As an A&M fan I am trying not to get ahead of my Skis I can think of at least five times we had all the momentum in the world and things fall apart, BUT this defense has I believe all conference caliber players at every layer, this O line is top 5 in the SEC, Moss might be the best back, WRs coming along. You pair that with what we saw at QB and the team can show consistency game to game, the sky is the limit.
Ags don’t have a bunch of first round picks at WR but they have a solid ground. Noah, Jahdae, Bussey and maybe Barber will get a shot in the league. Moss is a 2-3rd round pick. Three guys on the DL maybe more play 7-10 years in the NFL as well. Brooks Lee Ricks all get shots in the league as well.
I have been stunned how surprised everyone has been about Weigman. By simply looking at his overall work over the last two years, his performance was not beyond realistic expectation. The media has been grading him solely on the ND game. He was apparently injuried and sick. The fact that his throws were constantly high indicated something was off.
I'm not saying his previous work is on an atmospheric level, but just go look. His completion percenage is like 65-70%. He can hit the long ball on target. He can fit the ball into tight places and he has a low int total.
The lack of research these media guys do, is abhorrent. They speak like they know, but they are just the guys at the bar with a microphone. And this applys to the national media too.
Please note, i am not specifically calling out these guys. I am generalizing about all sports media.

Is it A&M has a high crime Mizzou has a very low ceiling. This beatdown was an embarrassment. And I’m not one of those guys that has high expectations for Mizzou. 7-6 has been a good year in the past. I can see commits leaving and nwaneri hitting the portal
No one has ever questioned Connor’s ability to throw the ball or his decision-making. It seems like you’re judging his entire career on one game against Notre Dame. You obviously have not been watching the games.
