It is utterly amazing that Maynard has been at the top of the game for 30 plus years. Three different bands, three different styles, all gold! He is the Mozart of the modern era.

Exactly! Even Eat The Elephant by APC, that people seemed to not enjoy so much, has some incredible songs.
I saw this live, I was in the front row and right at the climax of the song, Carina Round (the female singer) was directly in front of me and was reaching out in the the crowd. A top 5 moment of my entire life
Also saw them live last fall in San Diego County. I openly wept during the song. Such an amazing ensemble of artists.
Seeing them in July, in the UK, bought tickets 30 seconds after release, they are still not sold out, and I am really shocked. Seen Tool, APC a bunch of times, not seen Puscifer yet ,so good to know I will not be disappointed.
She’s awesome. I met her a couple times in the lobby after the show.

The Humbling River has a completely different feel from most of the Puscifer songs. I used to listen to that song a lot with a friend while he was passing from cancer at 33. It’s not a hard hitting song, but hits all my emotional buttons.
Grand Canyon, The Arsonist, The Humbling River, Momma Sed... Puscifer has an amazing list of tracks. Ms Carina Round & Maynard's harmonies are MF ethereal.

Love the condescension line, and the "remedy" prescribed here is a good old-fashioned knuckle sandwich. One of my all-time favorite songs and definitely a top 'pump-up' track.
I love all of Puscifer, but the album that introduced me to them and is my favorite is Conditions of my Parole, the whole album is amazing.
Front to back, like the Weezer blue album. Both are masterpieces.
❤ Carina Round - backup singer in Tears for Fears among other things. An amazing talent in her own right, and a stellar counterpart to Maynard.

I think its the worst thing they put out with only 1-2 decent tracks. Everything else on every other LP is fire though.

Queen B, Vagina Mine, Humbling River, The Mission, Green Valley, Tiny Monsters... So many good choices from Puscifer EDIT: Im so glad I was wrong and you really grooved on this tune. The rest of the Puscifer catalog (except the most recent LP) is jam packed with more of the same. The live video cd he puts out is amazing, half live show half theatrics.
Why does no one ever say Potions? I think it's a banger and one of their best.

I believe the track Potions is from the much rumored side project of Maynard and Trent Reznor's band called Tapeworm. So that might be worth checking out.

@@TheNewAmericanMedia back in the 90's trent(nin) and maynard(tool) formed a band called Tapeworm, the only thing to ever get leaked from that project has been Maynard redoing the songs for either Perfect Circle or Puscifer.
Puscifer did a streaming event of "Existential Reckoning" live at Arcosanti, Arizona, October 30, 2020, it was a prerecorded and edited set of performances but they recorded everything live in the Arizona desert, it is a really cool performance, Maynard and Carina's characters are odd, like they're alien "Men In Black" kind of thing'. Maynard's always had a fascination with aliens and conspiracy theories, he resides in Jerome, Az. at the co-op vineyard Caduceus Cellars, far from the larger population, he's not a "people person" haha
Iirc, Merkin Vineyards is where the grapes are grown, and Caduceus Cellars is the name the wine is bottled and sold under. I picked up a bottle of dark red last year, and it was very very nice.

Finally got to see Puscifer for the first time on my birthday this past October. What an AMAZING show ! Never experienced a show like that. Brought my 2 teenage kids with me. They were amazed even having seen TOOL just months earlier.
I have yet to see Puscifer, but I will see Tool again this coming October. 😁
Puscifer live is Peak Maynard in my opinion! Seen Puscifer three times (each show they've played in Houston) and they are my favorite Maynard project to see live as much as I love Tool.
The thing with Puscifer's sound I noticed is that every song sounds like it's from a different genre almost. You never know what each song is going to sound like. My favorite song of theirs though is " The Mission (M is for milla)" . Maynard's vocals pair so well with Milla's. That's Milla Jovovich from the Resident Evil movies.

My first exposure to Puscifer was “Cuntry Boner”. Not the best song of theirs but it’s hilarious. I think my favorite is “Potions” and I’m pretty sure that’s a collab with Trent Reznor, if I’m not mistaken.

Saw them on this tour. They had a wresting ring on stage where Maynard and corina stood but also had 4 luchadors that wrestled during parts of the show.
I'm seeing them on June 3rd and I can't wait to see them!

Yep, this song still hits. This band is straight magic. If you want to be even more impressed with what Maynard is all about, check the UA-cam video series of Maynard on work. It made me make more of an effort to seek out friction in my life and truly embracing effort and process.

That line about knocking someone out isn't any BS. Maynard is a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and once choked out a guy who ran on stage past security, with the mic cord, all while continuing to sing the song.
"Potions" is absolutely the next track you should do from Puscifer. I would also accept "Humbling River"
There is a live version with Maynard and Carina in front of the wrestling ring. They had luchador's wrestle during the show. I saw them in Texas and I thought I was at the wrong event. There was actual wrestling matches before the concert started.

My first Maynard show was this tour. They had a full wrestling ring setup, with Lucha Libre wrestlers performing in between songs. The whole show was art. I love Autumn from this same album. You need to listen to Indigo Children (JLE Dub Mix) in the 4Runner assuming you have some low end to thump.
