I look forward to each video, the different camera views on the road driving seeing the beautiful countryside, the drone views, the country jingle you blend in to the beautiful scenery, these are truly professional edited videos, amazing what you do on the road
Thank you Russ for the longer video, All your videos should be a hour or two hours long. I do not know how you can show any thing in 20 min. You do a great job.
I second it. Your new format with long vídeos and several stops is probably easier for you to edit. Filming and editing in one day will burn you out. So whatever it takes to keep you sharp, healthy, and not stress out over a deadline, is ok with me. Thank you Russ.
wow Russ its been 4 yrs time flies! guess about same for me. I rafted thru there it looked like the train could barely fit on that track & from below looked more like 2ooo ft up, thanks to you I've seen from the top now! was there 2yrs ago have good friend lives 10 min from RGB got to go visit him soon! & that hwy 50 1 of the best drives in the country.. got to catch up on so many of your videos! thanks for continuing the travels!! be safe....have FUN!
Thanks for the trip to the RGB. I bypassed it 20 years ago because the AAA tourbook showed me the price. I instead took rt 92 through Black Canyon of the Gunnison Natl Park. More scenic on 2 wheels. Scared me to death. 😱😱 I did enjoy taking the trip with you. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
Very nice video. Where there is snow in the winter, there is water in the summer. Colorado is a proof of that. Not my favorite State but worth a sightseeing trip anyway !! RICHARD
Hi Russ! When we walked across the bridge, there were gaps in the planks, and you could look straight down. Heckuva view! Really like your longer videos when you’re on your travels. Thank you for your hard work, research & editing time.
Beautiful photography, Russ! We were just there walked the RGB on July 28th this year. Sorry we missed you. Would have said hi 👋 and took a selfie with you!!! ❤
I came down from Salida through the Monarch Pass. I stopped and climbed way up to the just about the top of that road behind the store. Also got a cool TShirt there! Love that place! ❤️
My family was there in 1964 and took the incline down to bottom of canyon. I don't think they have it anymore. Then again in 1978 when they had the sky ride. Haven't been there since. Sure is expensive now and alot more to it. Doesn't look like you can drive on the bridge anymore. I did back in 78. Kind of scary. Thanks for the memories❤
Love to visit Colorado in the summer! But winter is a different matter. Ha ha. Thanks for the video, it was great! And I’ve seen a few things I missed on my travels. We rode our RZR over the Continental Divide on a Polaris sponsored trip out of a dispersed camping trip close to Taylor Lake. Was really fun. St Elmo’s and Pitkin were awesome. Thanks again Russ!!
Hey Russ! GOTTA LOVE COLORADO! As I mentioned before, I spent many years in Colorado as a Pro Ski Patrol and Firefighter, and loved every minute of it! Had to leave to take care of Mom for a few years. Now that she’s passed, I plan to get back to God’s Country! I really do miss it! Gonna follow you all the way through Colorado and beyond. Great vid and content! God Bless, Brotha! 😎🇺🇸
🕊️ Beautiful Views ⛰️ traveling with Russ RVerTV van 🚐 look at the beautiful blue sky ⛅ it's raining here in Douglasville, GA ⛈️ Up!🤗 from my nap 😴 Thanks🌹 🕊️ Puzzles & Coffee ☕ mug on my list 💃
Thank you, Russ for the awesome job! Monarch Pass and Royal Gorge was absolutely beautiful! Your touring is so pleasant. Colorado is breathe taking! ❤🎉❤
I'm really loving this Colorado journey! If I ever get to Colorado, with all of that beautiful scenery, I will probably pass on seeing that bridge for $35, now that I've seen it through your lens. However, these videos really make me want to go see Colorado. I've never been there, before. On my bucket list, now. Thanks for taking us along!
The rails you saw at the Royal Gorge Bridge are the remains of a slant railway that used to take tourists to the bottom of the canyon where you could overlook the rail line. There is an interesting rail bridge that is hung from the side of the canyon. I took it to the bottom in the 1970s. There was a fire that damaged it and they have never repaired it.
Terrific Russ very nice ride through that pass and the bridge was certainly worth seeing Another cool journey. Here in Pa it's been in the 80s really not bad for me. Well thanks for the ride along again. Take care.

Such beautiful scenery on the roadways you travel! Thanks for taking us along and really love seeing places I have never been! Just wondering...can you not take the drone up higher over the mountains? Just curious at what might be on some of the mountain tops! 😊 Blessings and stay safe on the roadways and in the heat!
i’m watching 10 months after first aired. I’m trying to catch up. It is so much fun seeing everything that I watch them more than once. I am looking forward to the new season. I saw the first one Saturday of New Mexico. It was fun to see those people rafting on the river.
My second comment on this video Russ. Again this scenery is just beautiful, but at 74, I believe that I will leave the rapids, for the younger people, but I might enjoy a more leisurely ride, on a calmer river, with no rapids.
When I went to the Royal Gorge in the year 2000 with my friend we rode the car’s that went straight down to the bottom and back up. I was so scared on that bridge! 😂❤😅
Russ there is a train ride. Goes through the gorge. What a great experience and incredible adventures I had there when my son and daughter in law lived in lone tree outside of Denver. Loved the garden of God's too in Colorado springs. Keep the great videos coming sir.
Hi Russ, wow ! Thanks for letting me take this trip with you over the Gorge. Carry a ziplock bag with a nice cold wash cloth to cool your face. It helps. Take care. God loves you and so do I. 🙏🏻
Way back in the early 80s we made a trip to Colorado. Ironically it was about this time of the year, first couple of weeks of August. We went through Monarch Pass working our way down to Farmington NM. I can remember standing at that Continental Divide sign, and it sleeted on us going through Monarch Pass. It was August and sleeting, we couldn't believe it.
When I was there in 2007 you could still drive across the bridge, it was full of tourists and cars going as slow as the tourists and nudging their way across the bridge, it was really something to stand at one end of the bridge and watch a car enter the other end and create a wave in the bridge that you could watch come toward you and then go under your feet and lift you up a foot or two as it passed under you, it was quite a thrill! The tram used to run at the time and you could take it down to the river in the morning and fish all day if you wished and then take the tram back up in the evening. What a place!
Ditto on the Royal Gorge Railroad! Best train ride I have had in a long time. You get on in Canon City and ride directly under the Royal Gorge Bridge next to the Arkansas River. The food was fantastic. So much fun, will definitely be going there again!
If you are ever out this way again, there is a train ride you can go on that starts in Canon City and goes up the Royal Gorge Canyon under the RGB and stops at the west end of the canyon and then you go back into Cannon City.
What you won't do for your viewers! Bet ya slept great that night, but what a pricey ordeal. Here's a little bit to offset some of the bridge cost AND THANK YOU for saving me the trouble of going there myself. Nope.
Brilliant video Russ. I look forward to your videos every week. I`ll be heading to the states in 4 weeks and I`m looking forward to driving from Minneapolis to Fargo, Bismarck, Miles City, Billings and down into Yellowstone. On around from there to Jackson, Laramie, Cheyenne and up into Deadwood before heading back towards MInneapolis, again. I`m from Ireland........ Stay safe Russ........
Another amazing video. I lived in Colorado in the 1990s, but never made it to this part of the state. BTW, I do newsletters for my business and use Constant Contact. Not a free service, but a good product for the money and good customer service.
I love watching your videos! I didn't know how many beautiful places there are in the beautiful USA until l started watching the videos! I would love to travel the Great USA like you are doing! Keep up the good work you are doing!
Thanks Russ you saved me $35. I remember watching a documentary about the last run of a steam engine heading west on that line, it follows the river up towards Leadville then it ended up on the the line that follows the Colorado river, toward Utah.
Just loved that drone footage you took 💕 way back when we went there and heard the price $$$ to “see” the bridge we walked right back around and saw everything we needed to for free😂.
Was out there in 1968 all of 12 years old then. We walked a crossed it and then drove a crossed it. Something to see. Don't think it cost $35 then. Another nice video, thanks.
I remember when I was a kid, there were big debates on television about rather or not to let people bungee jump off the Royal Gorge Bridge. I used to ride the cars that went up and down those rails , and there used to be a big ghost town there with gun fights, Gold panning , and a restaurant. Thanks for the trip down memory lane , what a beautiful state my home state is.
Since your in the area, you might consider going to Bishops Castle just west of Pueblo. It's a castle built by one man from river rock he collected himself.
Hi Russ! My husband and I recently discovered your videos- we love them! I have listened to the music- on my way home- but there is other music you play in all your videos that is different. Do you know the name of it? It is beautiful. Thank you for your videos! We enjoy them so very much!
Needed more video of the river at the George Bridge. Line for cable cars move quickly. It’s worth the hot wait. The canyon at Black Canyon is quite a site.
Very nice ride on SR50. Ouch! on the Royal Gorge $35 entry fee. Senior discount? Like to check the Royal Gorge anyhow plus the train ride in Canon City into the gorge. To be honest I did not like when you went from a 20 minute video to about an hour video, but now I see a better flow on your trips. Keep it up Russ. Too cool for school!!👍
The Royal Gorge Train travels along the Arkansas River from Canon City, CO and under the Royal Gorge Bridge. It stops near Parkdale, CO and then returns to the station at Canon City. It's a wonder scenic trip. The train has dining cars where you can eat get something or drink or just relax and watch from inside. Or you can go outside and hangout in open cars with nothing to obstruct the view. You should try it sometime if you like trains, it only takes a few hrs and gives you views you won't get any other way.

You ROCK! Haven't seen the Royal Gorge Bridge in 50 yrs. A stunner! What a great video. Thanks much. 🎉

It was or maybe still is the highest suspension bridge in the world. Went there 50 years ago while visiting my Aunt and Uncle outside Salida.
If you are ever out this way again, there is a train ride you can go on that starts in Canon City and goes up the Royal Gorge Canyon under the RGB and stops at the west end of the canyon and then you go back into Cannon City.

awesome Russ, greeting from the Netherlands
💚👋 Haven't been to Laughlin in years, thanks for great updates and footage 💯👍
The vibration on that bridge is from the wind causing the cables to vibrate. it's the same on the Golden Gate Bridge. Love this channel.🌉
Great video. That bridge is really expensive but thats the way everything is now. Should try the helicopter tour of the bridge, its great.

Fantastic video!! Thanks Russ!

we, the family were there in the mid 80s. we drove our vehicle over to the west. quite the experience.
I remember crossing that in moms 61 Plymouth fury 🙂

Totally awesome ❤
Need to take the train ride through the gorge some time !
Thanks Russ... stay safe out there!
US 50 starts in the east coast at Ocean City Maryland, if my memory is correct.
Since your in the area, you might consider going to Bishops Castle just west of Pueblo. It's a castle built by one man from river rock he collected himself.
Bishops Castle is fun.
I like the Royal Gorge in between Washington Oregon. Thanks for sharing though

Needed more video of the river at the George Bridge. Line for cable cars move quickly. It’s worth the hot wait. The canyon at Black Canyon is quite a site.
I been there in 1983 it's still the same. Walked cross the bridge rode the tram down to the river.
