The. Bersa Thunder concealed carry model is the best of all five!! It has a little heft to it but just right, and it has the least recoil of them all!! Also it’s magazines hold 8+1!! Also it has a fixed barrel for more accuracy, you can load the chamber with one round then insert the magazine with 8 rounds which gives you 9 rounds. Since you have one in the chamber then you can put it on safety which is a decocker, then take the safety off and you have a safe to carry ready to fire double action pull. Then each consecutive 8 rounds are single action with a really nice 3.5 lb. trigger pull!!

I have a Bersa Plus 15 + 1. Great gun. Not mentioned in this video about any Bersa, it has adjustable rear sights, round chamber indicator, barrel key trigger lock if you have children, easy to disassemble, fixed barrel (which makes it very accurate). And the double single action is great. One can tell where the reset is on the trigger so on the single action shots, you can muscle memory know when to pull the second trigger shots. My pocket gun is a Remington RM380, great reliable gun with the smoothest trigger pull, feels like it is on a roller bearing. And I compared this trigger pull to every pocket CC gun, and the Remington RM 380 is by far the smoothest. And for me I don't subconsciously think about the trigger and focus on sight picture. But I can't say enough about the Bersa. And again, adjusting the rear sight is a BIG option. This allows you to fine tune how the gun fits your hand and know your sight picture is already adjusted for your personal grip. And I am glad Marksman TV is pushing this for women. At shows I point out to women the gun, but see their husbands or boyfriends scoff at this gun based on them wanted to push name brand. So any husbands, boyfriends or women reading this, you really need to open your mind up to this fantastic little gun. It is a pleasure to shoot, with little recoil (which helps keeps it from jamming or stove piping), safe, reliable, adjustable sights, safety de-cocker, barrel key lock, slide lock, round indicator in the chamber, double/single action, smooth trigger, light trigger pull, easy to pull slide, great grips, many color choices, low printing under the cloths (which I use a band elastic holster to carry all day) , light overall weight, easy to take apart and clean, fixed barrel that makes it very accurate, made by a company that has been around since 1958, and is a really great James Bond looking gun. I have used it in two gun competition out to 25 yards. I use synthetic wheel bearing grease and all my guns show no wear and are as tight as when I bought them.

LCP is a great carry gun. I have the first generation model, which is actually a bit smaller than the current offering. Not the best at the range, but that's not what it was built for. Can be pocket carried, feeds reliably, pretty decent accuracy, well made, low cost. I have zero complaints about this gun.

    • @gregb6469

I bought one a few days ago, for both the size and the price. It has become my EDC gun. Much easier to conceal carry than my .38 snubbie (which I sold for more than I paid for my LCP). But since it is not a good recreational shooting gun, I am seriously considering getting a Bersa Thunder for that (and home defense). Of the five Marksman discussed here it is far and away the best looking, and I like the safety features. I don't get why people complain about them; after all, you don't HAVE to use them.

Got my LCP II for about $195 but with transfer fee it ended up being about $225. Still, I was very happy with that price, and it’s the gun I have with me at almost all times. After trying to carry my Shield and Glock 26 in Florida where you’re wearing shorts and t-shirts most of the year, I finally found the LCP II and now it’s so easy to slip the pocket holstered pistol into a pair of cargo shorts. Loaded up with Federal Hydrashocks and an extra mag, it’s a formidable weapon, but mainly, it’s the weapon I have with me.

I've been getting used to it by handling the parts and dry firing it. I'll just be using the standard safety lock, change the grip and I've ordered a paddle holster already. A little trivia about the Bersa Thunder series. The company originally had a license contract with Walther to produce their pistols for police/military contracts in S. America. The license eventually expired and Walther chose not to renew it. Bersa still had all the tooling, so they just made some minor changes to avoid patent infringements and came up with the "PPK look-a-like".
Mine is a first generation that has the pinned front sight instead of the newer dovetail. Very accurate and reliable. Comfortable to shoot.

I tested both the LCP ll and a Sig P365. The LCP is an easier shoot as a .380.
The Sig is more of a handful because it is a 9mm. Both are easily concealable pocket carries.
The Sig has the advantage of a higher capacity magazine and more stopping power, but more expensive.
It may be more difficult for some to be accurate due to muzzle jump and higher felt recoil.
I liked them both for pocket carry...but Hickok45 now usually carries the Sig so that may be the deciding factor...
    Or, I might need Both!

My first 380 was a Beretta model 70 which was a excellent back up however I was wanting something with a bit more firepower however it was a excellent firearm, which my partner really liked it so I sold it to him when I got a new 380 ( at the time I didn't realize what it was really worth but he was my partner and he was watching my back so he got a really good deal). I replaced the model 70 with the model 84 as it has a double stack mag, and it is a bit bigger but it's well worth it. The model 84 has a 14 shot mag, same safety features as the model 92 and feels just like the 92 but lighter and not as large as well. It's my favorite all around carry except for anything serious, however with the larger mag plus carrying two extra clips giving me a enough firepower to get the job done or a chance to get to heavier firepower if I need to, because my first next response to teach the language of 12 gauguess and that a very serious statement that will finish most conversations quickly.

My only complaints about it is that the company sent it to me in an incredibly dirty state, almost as if it was test fired a few hundred times and tossed in the box for me. Only critic I have is the Bersa I have at least not a great finish for when it was the only pew pew I had at the time as a CCW it would rust up a bit from sweat if I didn't stay on top of it.

TCP with 7 rounds (one in the chamber) weighs 15 ounces, is very very concealable, and shoots pretty darn good too. Well, at least mine has for the past six years. I did buy a couple of extra 10 round mags that I keep in the car and at home, but 7 rounds should get you out of almost any kind of crazy situation you hopefully never have to encounter.

Keep the title in mind when you buy a gun. It's for conceal carry, so you shouldn't be thinking cheap, unless you want a piece of junk. Most buyers who pass up the Sig P238 and buy a cheaper .380 in the $400-$500 range will soon realize they made a mistake and come back and buy the Sig. And when you do come back for the P238, don't buy the Aluminum alloy model. Spend the extra money and get the HD stainless steel model, and you will not regret it.

After purchasing and retaining literally over 20 9mm ccw,s 3- 380s all three are on your list all very concealable . I have not been in any gun fights lately or for that matter ever and hope to keep a 0-0 ratio , sometime ago I looked in the mirror and didn’t see john wick . It’s nice to buy guns play with them go to the range ,fiddle with them make like I know what I’m doing .its the magic of the mechanics is what drives me , my point I now just carry solely a bodyguard with laser, 911 with ct laser , and a beretta tomcat. I figure if I ever need to pull out a gun I’m pretty sure I’m going to fire it and chances are even better my target ( nice way to say a bad human being) will probably be within 10 ft of me and that’s with me trying to get further away some say .32 or 380 are just putting holes in the bad guy. If the bad guy runs away with holes in Him ,I would consider it a win .
I love my Hk Vp9sk Hk p30sk and Springfield mod 2 cz $hadow a S&W 7 & 8 round 357 revolvers plus others that I look at but never master bate to all are great guns but driving and wearing it all day is just over kill for me when the zombie invasion comes I’m sure I will sing a different tune right now I’m looking for a seecamp 380 which looks to me like a gun I can live with . I try to have a laser on all my carries not for bullet accusation but possibly the laser will send them running without a shot fired and to be honest I find lasers just cool. I admit it. If your a new ccw my suggestion is buy for comfort not killing power the comfort is key to you leaving your house everyday with protection . Killing power I would prefer never be in that position and a .32 or 380 will deter most monsters . The second most important is capacity if you have to pull out your gun for defense no matter how much training you have had I assure you it will all go down the toilet but keep training .the number of rounds you can get out is what will count.
I talk from experience I was walking my senior dog with my face in my iPhone some 5 or 6 years ago when two nearly teens ages 13-14 yo got behind me batted me in my low back grabbed my phone and took off . In Miami it’s called apple picking . I was able to draw my revolver point and see two little stupid boys no older than 13-14 , I did not fire due to good training and good training can mean not firing a shot , the life I could have taken was not worth a cell phone. What would you have done ?
That was 5 years ago I still can not walk but looking back I still would not have pulled the trigger.
This channel and the info marksman gives is first rate . ***** 5 stars I listen and watch his reporting every time he releases a video it’s no bull no scammy crap just straight talking advice and you never hear a um um or a 3 minute start of some character shooting at his range where you can’t even tell what gun he or she is using great work if I lived in Indiana ( thank the lord I don’t) his shop would certainly be my go to shop

I also enjoyed your gun comments. I’m an hk fan boy and really like my P30sk and can shoot it well which is unusual for me. It’s a little chunky for carrying but not too bad. Hk now makes 12 round mags for it. My 380 of choice is either the Glock 42 (with trigger job) and recently the Walther pk380 which is an excellent fairly unknown gun. No, James Bond didn’t carry it. I had to chuckle when I saw the opening pic. I've owned four of these. Here's my take in the order I owned them. First, I did consider the S&W Bodyguard but passed because I hated the trigger. My first of these was the Bersa. But in the end I couldn't shoot it worth a lick. Don't know why but that's what it was. The second was the Taurus which, again, I found to have a a horrible trigger. The third was the Ruger LCP II which had a really, really great trigger. But in the end I wound up with the Springfield 911 and have carried it every day for over a year now. Here in Florida I think .380 is a fine cartridge and with its 1911-type single action trigger I'm confident I can hit what I need to hit even under stress. Sig may have popularized what Colt began, but I think Springfield has made the definitive single action .380 in price and quality. But that's just my opinion.

Taurus range testing 400+ rounds never a miss fire. I do make sure it is very clean. For less than 200 and a 60$ Laser better than any pistol out there. I do recommend Laser on any 380. You can not eye aim these. These are not rifles or shotguns or even large pistols and all have poor at best sights. So laser red or green are mandatory. Ball ammo should never present a feeding issue due to the round shape. I am no expert nor do I claim to be. Hopefully I never need to use it.

Not to mention a ton of configurations that are all beautiful to boot. But I'm old school & hate Tupperware guns, period. @@bobbyfanman1734 Lol, I have the same thing with the extra round. Hope we never have to use it unless training. Stay safe.

I have the lcp. I think it's a very good gun, but it is not something I find enjoyable to shoot. I will carry it for protection, but will not be shooting it at the range for fun/practice. It is just a point and shoot.

Dude. Get rid of it asap. U need a better gun when your life depends on it. I suggest g42. All my family and friends own one after I recommend it to them. Good grip, comfortable in hand, easy to shoot, very smooth, has real sights, lots of aftermarket parts. Little pricey but worth it when your life depends on it.

The Sig Sauer P238 is a great little 380 to pocket carry IMO.

I want a little 380. I have fired the Sig and Spingfield at demos and am torn between them. They are very similar and fun to shoot. It will probably come down to price. I have a 1911 and like the mini 1911 design of these pistols.

Just bought a 911 .380 for now. It'd be a good one for me to practice making wood grips for. I've got some nice bits of mahogany, cherry, and walnut that would make the piece look pretty old-school.
